CAO L’Anniversaire “Maduro” Tubo II

Very attractive cigar, long, sleek and elegant. Unfortunately, things went downhill lfrom there. Uneven burn from the start. Wouldn't even out even after repeated touch-ups. Split wrapper within the first 1/2". Impressive tunnel up the center. Very inconsistant quantities of smoke. Had to relight it three times; let it rest in peace on the fourth. Pity, it tasted pretty good.

I really liked this smoke, about the fourth one that I have tried. I agree the packaging is unique, an attention getter, but does make them easy to stack! Tight draw on one of them but not the other 3. Great ash/burn, smooth finish, coffee-chocolate flavor. Got a box of 20 for $80 on sale........great deal.

I am a big fan of the maduro Anniversaire however this shape is lacking. The draw was way too tight. Flavor was very mild and smooth but lacked the multidimensional character and complexity of the Toro or Belicoso. If the draw had been better then my rating would have been much higher

This is a great cigar for novice smokers, it looks beautiful and has no aftertaste. As an experienced smoker, I found it enjoyable, but a bit mild for my taste. The tube packaging didn't do much for me either, but again, it's fun for newbies. A good "party smoke" for certain.
