"Costs Less... Delivers More..."
I smoke cigars that cost a lot more than the Casa Torano. In addition I keep these handy because they never let me down. Beautiful appearance, smooth draw, great taste, etc.

I won't complain, but these could easily go for a lot more with a different label on them. Highly recommended!

"Still holding it's own..."
It's been a month since my last CT Torpedo natural and not much has changed. This one, for whatever reason, seemed sweeter this time but became a "nubber" regardless. It also, which was a surprise, had a bit of a kick at the band?! Overall, it's a solid mild-medium experience that shouldn't be discount by those seeking more. It's a solid smoke, try them and post it!

"Still a good cigar"
It's been a while since my last Casa Torano topedo but not much has changed. It's a mild-medium selection for sure, but it curiously can keep you attention, provided you don't give up on it too soon. The first third is the mildest. If you can stay with it beyond that you'll get the best it has to offer. This is not a blow your socks off nicotine bomb. It's also not a spicy in your face kind of cigar. I generally prefer maduros but make acceptions depending on my mood. What it provides is a soft nuance experience, so you have to stay with it to appreciate the ride. I'm now down to the band and it has been getting better along the way. The Highland Park Scotch I paired with it has been a good match. I suggest you try one and go the distance. I lucked out and got this five pack for $15.95 (delivered) from Cbid. Try 'em!

"Good Cigar"
Nice draw, even burn, good construction, smooth taste. Would recommend but, probably will not purchase again. Does not de-throne some less expensive cigars like the Fonseca 7-9-9.

"a good mild cigar"
The wrapper was very silky, but had a few large veins. The flavor was on the medium side, but the body was more mild. I found it to be a very nutty taste, but also very smooth. It started to get a little hot in the last 3rd, but overall was pretty good.

"Best Casa Torano"
Great smoke with perfect burn through first half requiring minimal touch up thereafter. Pretty mild compared to what I've been smoking lately, but for a "mild to medium" an excellent choice.

A sheer delight to smoke. Beautiful golden wrapper, near perfect burn, nice spicy, cedary, Connecticut flavors. Mild yes, but you know you're smoking a cigar.

"Good mild smoke"
A lightly colored wrapper covers this well-made cigar. The draw and burn are fine but the cigar gets spongy as it smoked. It has a nice blend of bready, vanilla and mild tobacco flavors, and lacks the papery taste commonly found in mild cigars. A good smoke for early in the day, or with coffee, or anytime you feel like having a mild smoke.

"Excellent Cigar"
I picked up a handful of these from my local cigar shop and immediately feel in love. I tend to like mild-to-medium cigars and this stick fills the bill nicely. It has a nice aroma before lighting and is very pleasing to the eye. The cigar lights easily and burns nicely without needing any effort. It leaves a nice ash and produces lots of creamy aromatic smoke. Taste is super from start to finish and never seems to get harsh. You can draw these guys down to the nub without even thinking about it. A super smoke that is a great bargin.

"this is the one"
I found the cigar that is a perfect match for enjoying with my nice cold American beer. (Coors). I have been looking for a while for a stogie to match up with a good cold beer...well...this is it. Great construction...excellent burn, and the taste? Spicy with some sweet. The cold Coors and my torp played off each other perfectly. And the taste after the cigar is gone is delightful. You don't have to have the beer for the cigar to taste great, but again...this is a match made in heaven. Try it...

"I liked the robusto better"
Great mild cigar with wonderful blend of spice. I will say that I thought the torpedo has too much filler as a large ring size and would recommend the robusto. I overpaid for this sucker because the humi I went to in Clearwater, FL is for old people with cash to blow.

"a wonderful stick"
I had this torp sitting in my humi for several months, and finally fired it up yesterday; I should've smoked it sooner. This cigar has a wonderful aroma, taste, and is IMO a medium bodied smoke with character. There was a subdued spiciness all the way through it, and once down past the band, it didn't burn hot at all. The finish was long and pleasant, the ash was white/gray, and solid. There were a few burn problems but, they self corrected. My only real problem with it was the wrapper started to flake as it got past the band; nothing to prevent me from finishing it to the nub but, I just thought it was a weird place for a wrapper to start coming apart.
I was disappointed when I finished, I wanted it to last longer; always a sign of a good cigar IMO.

"Thanks for sharing"
The only complaint I could possibly find with this cigar is it over too soon. It burns a little faster due to the easy roll that gives it an effortless draw. It's beautiful to look at, great flavors, mellow enough for morning and has enough ooomph for evening. No wonder it's the family's house blend, it's great anytime. Burns like a champ too. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us.

"Casa Torano Torpedo"
I got this cigar from a sampler pack. I previously smoked the churchill and was pleased. This torpedo has excellent construction and is beautiful to look at. The burn was razor sharp. I was surprised at the amount of flavor from the conn. shade wrapper. This an excellent medium bodied smoke. I'll definitely add more to the humi. With a little more aging this cigar should be outstanding.

"A taste of Cinnamon"
Don't buy them if you dont like the taste of cinnamon - after 3 boxes of these it is quite evident I do, but it's not a cigar I can smoke two or three of a day like the other Torano offers. They're very well contructed but some friends draw and smoke far too fast and complain of a sooty aftertaste. And stay away from those high-powered propane lighters you can fire up in a force 5 gale, they can burn a quick hole in the foot and it will tunnel up the cigar and WILL taste sooty all the way.

"Casa Torano Torpedo"
I can see why the Torano Family has kept this cigar as their "House Favorite". I'd have no problem sharing it with any of my friends and family, too! Reviewer Mikey nailed it by saying it's..."mellow but complex". It does produce a pleasant aromatic smoke. The draw was easy and full. It did get warm and spicy at the band
but not objectionably so. The burn was even and construction/appearance first class. Rather than say it's a mild to medium bodied cigar, I'd say it a medium bodied cigar that's extremely refined!
