"Great Smoke"
I've had only one other Carlos Torano Exodus (Black) and the Silver was just as nice. Smooth, clean smoke all the way through. Good draw, even burn, notes of pecan, vanilla, and cinnamon peaked in the middle. Great all around. Will definitely smoke again.

"Now My Corona"
This is my first Torano Silver and I was very pleased. Medium rich flavor that started strong but lacked some depth toward the nub. Lot of
aromatic smoke from an even burn. I enjoyed this stick and will definitely buy more for the price. Recommend.

"Pretty good"
This was not a bad cigar, but it was not great either. It had a very prominent flavor of wood. In fact, it was almost like smoking a bundle of sticks. It was pleasant enough not to have tossed it, but just barely. I’m glad this was a gift and not something I paid for myself. (My assessment of value is based on the current average price of $4.00).

"In my top ten"
I finally wanted to get this up here. Of course it's really all a matter of what you like. These are medium strength - but the flavor is full, refined and really a delight with a little age. Other than that it smokes like a Torano - in other words, almost always perfectly. I think it's the Criollo that I really appreciate here - making it my #1 mid-morning or lunch time smoke over any other. I just now discovered that the Casa comes in the same size as a tubo - so the Silver might have some serious competition for that time of day.

"Excellent Torano"
After smoking and enjoying every type of Torano over the last several years, both my brother and I decided compare our two favorites. We both smoked this cigar alongside a Gold 1959 Exodus torpedo, and both agreed the Silver has the nicer favor hands down. Both were excellent as far as construction, taste and quality. The Silver started out with a nice sweet coffee type flavor, it then picked up a slight hint of citrus. However, towards the nub, a light floral note came through. I still would not call this cigar overly complex, but just a really smooth flavorful medium blending of fine tobaccos. The robusto and other sizes are just as good. So, when you add the reasonable price and the beautiful dark & rich wapper, you’ve got what I think is the best Torano on the market.

"Back to the Humidor!"
I'm a big fan of the Carlos Torano Exodus Silver Line. However, this cigar was good, but nothing as terrific as the silver robusto and torpedo. The problem may be that I did not age this cigar more than two weeks in the humidor before I smoked it. I sincerely hope that is the case since I bought a five-pack. I'll try another in June or July and let you know if that's the case. Still not a bad flavor, very leathery with some salt and hints of spice.

"Superb smoke"
This cigar had a perfect ash and burn, all the way to the nub. The flavor was medium bodied and very unique. I thoroughly enjoyed this smoke.

"Very good!"
Though my first samples of this cigar were a bit less than great (2 years ago) the newer production are pretty darn good. They start with a robust toasty/nutty flavor with nice hits of cocoa, then turn stronger in the middle with added leather. All of them seemed to turn abruptly mild and then tangy/harsh near the band...stop before there!

"Excellent value, a nice 45 min. smoke"
Dollar for dollar, a great buy. If you're looking for a nice cigar to enjoy on a 45 min. smoke, this one would be hard to beat. Very consistent burn throughout, and the taste remains very even. Mild-to-medium bodied. Well done. Try the "gold" exodus for a full-bodied, tighter version and not much more in price.

"Finally....."
I smoked the last one of a 5-pack and it did age well. My last review on 11-9-04, the smokes were 2 years in the humi. This time, with another 16 months did wonders. It had a Cuban like taste with better balance. The filler and wrapper came together almost like a great marraige! A much better experience.

"Blah...boring"
I may have been accidenatlly given a bad stick here by my buddy Glenn out of his sample pack. His sticks are usually very well kept. This smoke was dull, boring and bland. I am in total agreement with JJMD. One demensional and the demension didn't do it for me. it did look and smoke well. Thats it.

"Average"
This is one cigar I didn't finish to the last inch. Rich deep brown smooth wrapper with minimal veins. Solid construction with no soft spots. Bland prelight aroma. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. Even burn without the need for correction or relights. Chalk white ash with a lot of white smoke. Started immediately with cedar and mild leather. This served as the foundation for the remainder of the cigar, which unfortunately, was fairly one-dimensional. A citrusy flavor developed in the first third that was noticable and prevalent throughout the remainder of the stick, along with the strong cedar flavor. I usually describe cigars in thirds, but for this stick, each third was pretty much the same, save for an occasional floral note that danced in and out intermittently. I kept waiting for it to evolve and open up, but alas it did not. I chucked it just after the last third b/c I got bored. All in all, I would say an "average" cigar. A pleasant, albeit one-dimnesional flavor profile (I enjoy a cedar taste), but not exciting.

"NO SURPRISE"
typical Torano fare: good looking cigar with good construction; easy draw with plenty of smoke; medium body and moderate spice/coffee; all at a value price.

"Not for the novice"
Pardon my enexperience in this review. I lit this one up @ about 1:15 on a Sunday. The cigar looked nice. Nothing spectacular, but nice. I nipped the end and lit it. The first third was a bit boring. After reading the reviews, I was expecting much more. I was, however, drinking coffee for the first 1/3. The coffee was overpowering the cigar I believe. I got a good 'ol crisp Michelobe Light and things started looking better immediately (the Torano silver wrapper and the Michelobe Light label looked like they belong together anyway). The ash was a bit flakey and the wrapper started to split in 2 places. The split did hold together and didn't cause any problems. This cigar had many diffent flavors after the first 1/3. It had mild nutty undertones and at about the 1/2 way point, I got a breif mild "Copenhagen Snuff" flavor. That only lasted about 1/4". Then I got a strong short shot of pepper. Then it started to get very interesting. Flavor changes got very frequent and were appreciated. I don't have quite the pallet to describe all the different flavors from the last 1/2 to the last 1/4. Perhaps I'm not experienced enough to fully enjoy this cigar, but can appreciate the variety it provided. It did start to tunnel at about 1/3 left and had to be re-lit. The last 1/4 had a "sock you in the jaw" earthy taste w/ leather overtones. Quite tastey in my book. This was a slow starter that finished as a great cigar. The burn was slow and even and lasted from 1:15 to 2:45. Much more time than it looked like it was going to need. I will have another one, but I will wait until I am more experienced.

"My hands down favorite morning smoke."
To each his own...though I can't imagine this to be called a strong cigar by any stretch...to me they are mild but very flavorfull. This length and gauge are perfect for the profile and the construction and burn are typical Torano...in other words...flawless. If you want flavor without harshness, in a cigar you can depend on, one to go with a brisk morning cup of clean black coffe - or even a latte...this is your baby!

"Sinus pain"
Had some in the Humi for at least 2 years now, and decided to try one. Now I know why they were there that long. These full smokes are too strong for the sinuses! Good construction, decent draw but not an enjoyable smoke.

"Surprising"
This is the fullest flavored cigar I've had to date. Even though many other were said to be Full strenth. I loved the flavor, and it changed throughout the cigar, always kept me guessing. Can't wait to try more Torano's

"Good smoke, but not for me."
Not an easy draw and a little on the strong side for me. Nice looking cigar with a very even burn and nice, firm ash. Although I can usually handle a strong cigar, this one was a little on the bitter side. I have a robusto that I will try next and perhaps have a better opinion of that one.

The cigar constructions was fine, burn was good, draw was a bit tight. I liked the flavors a lot, smooth. These are excellent smokes that don't make you feel like you were mugged when you buy a box.

"Not my favorite Torano"
A pretty, shiny, reddish wrapper. I think it's Criollo. Very densely packed & has a tight draw. The slowest burning cigar I've had in a long time. Brutally full bodied at 1st. The smoke bulls it's harsh way through every last bit of the sinus cavity. It mellows however, to a smooth medium to full bodied cigar. I'm always comparing flavors of one cigar to another in the, sometimes flawed, data bank of my memory & this stick reminds me of a much more full bodied Dominican RyJ. There is some of that soy bean aspect I get from RyJ. A good cigar, but not great. There is a nice toasty flavor that comes on in the finish after a minute or two.

"strong cigar"
Like most Torano's this cigar looks better than it actually is. This doesn't mean that it was bad...its just not as good as it looks. The flavor on this is great and strong. I don't know if it was that I had drank too much or what, but about halfway through I got sick. Before that point I was really enjoying it

"Great Cigar"
This is the first of the Silver line I have had. It is a beautiful cigar - a perfect size. Great draw, perfect burn - the flavor is great - a wonderful medium bodied smoke with a small amount of pepper - and it delivers tons of smoke. Very smooth - I like this better than the Car Torano Signatures I have had.

"New Favorite Cigar"
I am smoking this cigar as I post this. This is the third line by Torano I have tried. The first two being the signature and the 1916. Although both are very good cigars, this cigar is without a doubt my favorite. It isn't just my favorite torano either. This is the best cigar I have ever had. It is very complex. I taste earthiness, citrus, spice, cream, semisweet and just enough overall sweetness to make it interesting. I am about halfway through and the only complaint I have so far is that the construction doesn't seem to be up to torano standards. The ash is flaky and the burn was slightly uneven but corrected itself. Then again I can't blame it all on constuction. I an sucking this thing down a little quickly. It draws like a dream. Don't go out and buy these cigars. Leave them all for me.

Good cigar. Burn was uneven but then fixed itself. Mild to medium bodied. A little spice to it. I prefer the Exodus Gold and the 1916 more though
