"Sub par"
Great looking stick that I have had in the humi for a year. Past exodus silvers have had a really easy draw and tend to heat up fast. Some nutty and citrus. Burned well with the ash holding on for over 1.5 inches. Pretty one dimensional medium body. Better sticks out there for the price.

"Torano Appreciation Day!"
For my 200th review, I picked a cigar that I always enjoy, the Torano Silver Robusto Corto. I try and have a handful in the humidors. This is not the best cigar in the world and probably not among the finest, but for the price this is a helleva cigar. The criollo wrapper is attractive and the taste is consistent, with enough complexity to keep you interested. I taste a lot of salt, which I like in a cigar, with a little leather, nuts and cocoa. I do have to mention that the burn and taste seem to have gone down a notch in the last 2-3 years. Still a very solid and appreciated cigar, at least by me!

"Base Hit"
Wood and earth with a sweet edge. Nicely balanced medium-bodied cigar with the consistently good construction expected from Torano. A little dry for my taste, but overall a decent smoke and a good buy.

"Final Grade: C+"
First I must say that I am more of a full bodied guy so keep that in mind in reading my comments. First of all the appearance of the cigar is great. Its got a beautiful label as well. The burn and construction were fine as I didn't have any problems with them at all. Its just a light cigar with hints of woody, earthy flavor, and slight hints of spice. If you like lighter cigars you will like this one its just a bit lacking in my opinion. The flavor the cigar does have is great though so dont think its some nast tasting stick because its not. I wont be going out and buying a box of these but if I am handed one or get it in a sampler pack, I would have no problem smoking it.

"Not bad"
This was my first Silver Ed. after several Virtuosos. Definitely not as good but not bad. Had good flavor but not complex. Seemed like it was trying to develop something but just didn't get there. That being said, these are still decent especially for the price.

"Good, but not great"
Picked it up at a local cigar store, good even burn, but not much flavor. Kind of bland.

"Torano Good!"
The Torano family does it again! What a great little cigar. It has more complexity and strength than the Casa Torano. It's at times salty and has hints of cocoa, while being smooth and mild. I've just talked myself into buying more. The one flaw is the construction, all I've smoked have developed runs in the second half. Oh well, run Forest run!

"Pretty Darn Good"
This was the third in a series of five medium bodied, mellow smokes I received from my Cigar of the Month Club. And it is definitely the best of that set and a very good representation of that preference of cigar. This Exodus had a mild spice but was generally just smooth and hearty. It does suffer from some construction problems. It burned quite unevenly and I did have some mild wrapper problems, though I've certainly experienced far worse. Overall, it's not a must buy, but it's enjoyable enough that I'd recommend it easily.

"great smoke"
A good looking cigar with solid construction; the burn was nice and even. Nice flavors of cedar and spice. I got these babies for $3.00 a stick @ Famous. The nice flavors coupled with the excellent price made for a most enjoyable experience.

"good one"
Another Torano fan here, and this one was no exception. Smooth beautiful wrapper, little loose draw, but the flavors were there. Prelight was sweet, then came the pepper and coffee flavors. Mellowed out halfway and got a little more pepper towards the end, the sweetness stayed throughout. Produced lots of smoke, smooth even burn, and had a short finish. I just love this one 🙂

"not impressed"
I got one of these in a sampler a few months back, and I must say, I was not impressed. I thought it was rather generic in flavor- like a cheap, gas station cigar. It could be that I just got a bad one, but I don't feel too inclined to try this series again.

"Pretty good, until the end"
Spicy, excellent burn and construction and smoke. Toward the end, too much plain tobacco flavor. Would try again, but not pay much for it.

"a solid & pleasant smoke"
I got one in a sampler from Thompsons. I liked it so much I bought another single just to be sure. I was right! The draw was good, the burn was problem free and the aroma was very nice, making the smoke all the better. It wasn't wimpy either, it was spicey and had a medium to full body. If I had the apparent bad experiences as others I would probably be giving a different rating but, my experience was good. I liked this and would buy em again.

"Just OK"
I'll preface my comments by stating that I have a preference for more flavorful, full-bodied cigars.
With that said, I'll have to say that I was underwhelmed with this smoke. It was solidly constructed and burned fairly well, but the flavor just didn't do much for me.
It had a somewhat light woody taste with hints of citrus, which isn't really my thing. If you dig that sort of flavor, this is probably a cigar for you, but one was enough for me.

"wonderful aroma"
This cigar demonstrates yet again why I'm a Torano fan. The aroma is captivating, and will gently linger (by invitation, not demand) for a few hours... which prolongs the enjoyment. It is complex in a playful, not demanding, way - starting off with just a little pepper, then wonderful waves of cocoa, earth, and espresso. Multi-dimensional and satisfying... great after dinner. Compared to the Torano 1916 Cameroon, there is a bit less leather & pepper in this Exodus Silver... and maybe a bit less smoke. My only minor complaint was some stubborn lighting and uneven burn; maybe that was my fault. The band is downright purdy. You won't be disappointed with a box. Viva la Torano!

"Nice straightforward smoke"
Oily, toothy, and firm, this cigar has a nice dark brown color and looks good. Other than a slightly firm draw, it smokes very well with a mostly even burn leaving behind a nicely formed ash. It's toasty, sweet, and comfortably spicy; the flavors are pretty straightforward and don't change much. Still, a pleasant smoke overall.

A pleasant tasting medium to full bodied smoke, with a finish that lasted 'til breakfast.
Unfortunately, the burn was somewhat ragged ,needing frequent corrections.

"Torano's strongest but not best"
This is definitely Torano's strongest cigar. It has a woody, peppery taste that strong cigar smokers will like. It's not overpowering, but somewhere between medium and full bodied. The Crillio wrapper is nice, but I noticed it cracked a bit on me. Like others noted I too noticed the flavor died pretty quick. About 1/2 way down this cigar became an average smoke.
Construction and burn typical Torano, which is very good.
Not Torano's best, but still a pretty decent cigar.

"Alluring spice"
This stick has some on the spot spice and lots of smoke to go with it. Attractive and the construction was nice. The notes were rustic and cedary with chewy spicy taste to go with a lovely finish of a nutty chocolate taste. All in all a good go to smoke from Coarlos ToranO.

"Expected More"
This cigar was okay but not as good as the regular Exodus 1959. Still well made, nice even burn, good ash and decent draw, just not as flavorful as the regular exodus.

"Decent but expected more"
I bought one of these based on a recommendation of my retail tobacconist. At first light, it had some spiciness to it, but that seemed to all but fade away as it burned. I was left with an average cigar at best. It burned uneven, and I had to relight it once. Construction looked good, but not great. I would not jump on the opportunity to buy another unless the price was really right.

"Carlos T. riffic"
I agree with Giorgio's observation. This is another Carlos Torano succuess story. The wrapper was silky smooth, with a full, rich flavor throughout the smoke. The construction was up to usual standards, with an even burn that produced a 1.5 inch white ash. Torano does it again. Can't understand the lower scores but I highly recommend and will definitely buy more!

"Disappointed"
With the hype surrounding the Silver series, I expected a truly great smoke. What I got was a great construction, a great ash and a great burn with a mediocre flavor at best. The robust toasty start was quite nice, but it rapidly fell apart to nothingness with a dominant flavor of stale cigar smoke.

"Wasn't all of that"
Picked one up because it looked good and was reasonably priced. It started out promising but the wrapper began to crack half way down and the flavor became harsh. Have a glass of water handy, the aftertaste was foul.

Bought in Key West and smoked in Miami, this Robusto is an excellent cigar, with great flavours and neat construction. I rate it one of the best non cuban, how can the average rating be so low? It beats me...

"Uh where's the flavor?"
O.K. so I've only had one, so you do your own test, but you must admit that in everything first impressions count. I lite this cigar and had high expectations, but through out the smoke I was waiting for some complex flavors and really did not find any. It started off peppery and faded to a medium lite cigar. OK it wasn't barren of taste, but it made no impression either.

"Disapointing"
Looks great. Nice wrapper and appears well constructed. The band is humidor candy as well. Upon lighting this cigar dispalyed a nice flavor, a bit on the robust side but solid. The burn quickly went astray and several soft spots in the roll became evident. At the halfway point the stick developed a problem remaining lit. The draw was always constant but a bit loose.

"Who gave it a 92 Rating?"
Was in the local cigar shop and noticed a "92" rating on the box of Torano Ex Silver Robusto Corto's, so I picked up a single for the heck of it. Seemed promising at first but then I had the same experience as "TMH" on 4/7/04. Some pockets of flavor but little smoke-was a real dud. BTW the "92" rating was from the manufacturer not "C.A".

"Killer Robusto"
This cigar is a perfect example of how non cubans mfgs are competing with the smokes from the big island. This Robusto is simply outstanding and for the price a deal that is hard to match. Construction and burn is on par with the best. The flavor is moca sweet and creamy, like a real treat. Draw was damn near perfect with an ash that looks cuban. The only problem? It's a Robusto, I didn't want the somke to end:)

"Solid anytime smoke"
Yet another Torano cigar that delivers. Like all others, construction is top notch. Easy draw with a ton of smoke. Nice smooth flovor with a touch of peppery spice, typical of criollo wrapper. Reminds me of a good Cuban at a quarter of the price.

"Nice robusto"
OK looking cigar, a few veins, one bump on the side where a stem was ready to push out. Very firmly packed, smells quite enticing before lighting. Lit right up, gads of smoke. Draw was perfect and remained so. Burned very well, nice firm light gray ash. Nice mix of flavors, more interesting as it burned. Creamy medium body but not harsh.

"Another winner"
Another winner from torano. This is better than the corona grande with some age on it. I bought a box of these and let it sit in my humi for about 2 months. What a fantastic cigar. Sweet, cocoa, spice, earth, espresso - very complex and satisfying.

"A long wait ruined"
Had this in the humidor for about 7 months. Something about the feel of the cigar over this time kept telling me that it was going to be a tough draw. Unfortunately, I was right. What smoke I could get was disappointing. Have really enjoyed the other Torano lines-Tributes, Signatures, 1916's. Oh well, nobody's perfect. In this price range, I would stick with the Signatures. Not recommended
