"Great flavor and construction"
This Carlos T. cigar is one of the better ones I've had in a while. The construction was top notch. Simply effortless draw and the burn was so spot on, I had over a 3 inch ash on this one. I agree, this is a medium bodied cigar all the way around. The flavors were also very good. Cedar/wood flavors with a lot of spice. Just ordered a 5 pack of these. A great cigar!

"Lighter than expected, but fantastic flavor"
Review is based on just one cigar, but it was excellent. Not med-full; closer to the lighter side of medium. But flavor was terrific: creamy, balanced, smooth, slightly sweet, with a long finish. There were some burn issues -- canoed a bit, and a bit soft in the last third -- but these problems didn't significantly detract from the experience. Got a great deal at Atlantic Cigar.

"Fingerburning treat"
Probably one of the top 10 cigars I have ever smoked. The flavor was so tasty that I wish this cigar would have lasted twice as long. I am going to have to pick up a few more of these and hope that the previous one wasn't just a fluke. I have tried other vitolas from the same line and was not nearly as impressed with them as I was with the torpedo.

"Not overly impressed"
Snagged one of these toperdos after reading reviews. Decent flavor, but had burn issues on the 2nd third and it took a lot of work to recover. There are better options out there at this price point. Honestly, I would rather smoke a Torano Brick over this smoke.

"Silver and Gold in WV."
What a Treat! I was down in the Smokehole (check my reviewer name) Canyon of West Virginia'a Big Bend State Park and the Fall foliage was just past peak. The smells of Autumn were in the air and the black dogs were swimming in the Potomac. Now add to that a beauty of a cigar, Carlos Torano's Exodus Silver Torpedo. Yeah it came in the mail a couple of weeks ago as hard as a rock, but on this day it burned like a champ. Some say it's mild, but I found it defintely in the medium range if not medium to full. Of course I smoked it on an empty stomach. The taste is hard to describe in "hints of" or " notes of" but easy to say "delicious" and "mmmmm". So when the leaves are gold make the cigar Silver.

"Did I get lucky?"
This review is based on a single cigar.....with the consistency issues found in many toranos, I'm wondering if I just got lucky by getting a good one.....

This is definately not a med-full bodied smoke, some would say medium, I'd say light-med at the most. The one I had was a real pleasure to smoke, very woodsy with lots of mellow spice and some earthy notes...very enjoyable, had a somewhat less than enticing aroma IMHO, but the flavors made up for that. Top notch construction as found in most Toranos, I wish brands like C.A.O., Montecristo, and Graycliff (among others) would take notes, as 9 outta 10 times their torps are severely plugged. I can't give my recommendations on this cigar having only smoked one, but I will sample more frequently and maybe get a box then we'll see.

I would rank about a medium flavor-wise. A little too spongy toward the end. No other faults. Will purchase more.

A nice, spicy, medium-bodied torpedo with lots of zing. Great construction, burn and ash! Some citrus notes on a core of cedar and spice. Great cigar for the price!

"Torano's mild side of cigars"
These were the first Torano cigars I had tried, and I have now smoked 4 boxes of them - they're so mild I was putting away 3 a day. I stopped buying them from Thompson cigars because they charge more and shipping is $17 (ridiculous). Now I've moved up to boxes of the Exodus '59 torpedos (even better).

"Is there another word for spicy?"
Many of the other reviewers use the word "spicy" for this cigar- but thats the best way to put it. A stronger cigar with flawless contstruction and unlike some other reviewers I had no burn problems to speak of. The spice/mild cycle comes and goes as you draw down the cigar which makes for a contemplative exercise in tasting. Kept catching myself looking at the cigar- looks good in hand. Toraños- Love those guys.

"Too tight of draw"
Maybe just a fluke, but had the worst time getting any smoke. Cigar seemed to wanna burn internally but left a "thick" outer skin on the cigar unburned. Will try again!

"ever changing"
This was an interesting smoke with an ever-changing character. At first I thought this cigar was too mild with a tight draw, but after slicing away at it with my Xicar (I was skeptical at first but I highly recommended getting one) it opened up with a thick, leathery flavor, a hint of cedar and a hint of honey towards the end (I’m not a snob, I swear). In addition, the burn was flawless. My only other complaint is that the flavor turned a little early, but all in all this was a very good, flavorful smoke. Highly recommended, especially given the cheap price.

"Another nice Torano"
There are beautiful looking cigars, with nice even draw and sharp burn. I smoked the 5 pak that I bought and am buying more. As far as NCs go, this is an excellent example with interesting flavors and enough power to keep you interested. By the box these are fairly priced as well.

"One of My Favorites"
A wonderfully constructed cigar. The build and design is flawless. Even Burn. It started off subtle and then after a few puffs the strong well crafted flavor really came out. It has hints of leather and spice but I actually caught a taste of caramel. I enjoyed this so much that I bought a box for home.

"Interesting smoke"
Bought this one from MD Cigars awhile back , and found this one to start off with a straight tobacco taste then developes after 1/5 of the way thru into a leathery flavor after about 2/3 of the cigar it became spicy, viva Torano, buy you'll enjoy it.

"Excellent smoke"
I am a big fan of Torano Cigars. I started smoking the powerhouse exodus 1959 black/gold - bought a box. Then I was intrigued by the second coming in the silver series...awesome smoke - bought a box. The torpedo has hints of spice and marshmellow sweetness...even burn with a fine ash. Medium body to mild, but pleasant smoke all around. Enjoyed with a nice glass of port and good company.
