"Great taste, shoddy construction."
Like a lot of Carlos Torano's I've had, this suffered from bad construction. Flavor had hints of chocolate and cinammon, and was a nice medium bodied smoke that was very enjoyable. 2/3s through, it started to tunnel, and then I could not keep it re-lit, so I had to toss it. Other than that, this was s great stick for the money. Although its over two years later, it is funny that D. Dreggs and I have nearly the same review on this.

"An O.K. Smoke....Good Value"
This is a pretty nice cigar if somewhat one dimensional. Looks very good, very good construction, nice price, but just not a lot of flavor even in the final 1/3rd. Mild to medium strength (final 1/3rd). Sort of reminds me of a stronger Dominican in taste. Decent morning cigar. Good value.

"Great Stick With A Hitch"
I normally gravitate away from box-pressed cigars as a matter of personal preference; this one was an exception to my rule. This stick was flavorful and even bodied; a great semi-sweet, medium-bodied smoke from start to finish. Upon ignition, my entire palate was engulfed in earth and spice, with hints of moss; the flavor stayed with me long after the smoke was over. Draw was acceptable for a 7 x 48 Churchill. Burn was not as even as other Churchills I've had, although not by much.
Now for the down-side. About two-thirds of the way through this memorable smoke, the wrapper self destructed. I was unable to smoke past the self-induced damage; the undone wrapper just got worse. A little less than one-third was left unsmokable. This may have been a random fluke, so I'm going to try another ASAP. If the wrapper damage occurs again, this otherwise noteworthy stick is off my list for good. If the wrapper holds, well.....
