"Sweet Maduro"
Three years of box time has produced a very sweet type of maduro with a charry, mincemeat and sambouca flavor. Afterwards there is "a mysterious something" that puts a nice aftertaste in your mouth . I found this mostly mild cigar a pleasure to smoke when it drew. I spent a lot of time poking this to draw well. The draw along with the prices seems to be the achilles heel with these. Much like a high priced hooker... sexy looking but at a poor pricing point for what you'll really end up getting.

"Nice, but a bit overpriced."
Sexy looking Costa Rican wrapper and navy bue C.T. band. First third had a nice charred wood and spice flavor with a hint of sambouca sweetness. Nice. Last third was a bit harsh but that could have been to my inattention to it as I let it go out and relit it 3 times as I went back and forth between the computer and the smoking room. Burn is usually solid but I have had tight draw issues. Massaging helped open this stick up. Good luck finding these at a reduced price. I bought a box and ended up paying about 5.75/stick. I still wish CT would bag the bells and whistles on these (glass tube and cedar wrap) and get them into the $4 range.

"Excellent smoke in every way"
Partially wrapped in a sleeve of cedar and encased in a glass tube, this dark and oily torpedo is well rolled and looks good. While others had problems with the draw, I found it to be excellent, producing a generous amount of smoke. The burn isn't razor straight, but it's consistent and never needs a correction. After a very charry start, it takes on earthy and dark chocolate flavors with hints of caramel. Later it has a more creamy and cocoa character that leads onto the finish. Rich and smooth and medium in strength, it's an excellent smoke overall. I'm starting to find that the maduro versions of cigars are in general better than their natural wrapper counterparts, and this smoke is another example.

"A Great Smoke"
Very impressive apearance, beautiful coneticut wrap and torpedo end. This cigar was very a smooth medium body smoke. It had a slight cocoa and peppery taste. My main complain was that it was hard to draw.

"Just Fantastic...but"
imagine this great tasting smoke without the STUPID glass container and cedar liner. C'mon C.T. folks... bag the bells and whistles. Get the price down to the $4 range and then you'd really, really have something special here.

"Delicious!"
I just finished my first Torano R.S. Maduro, and was very impressed. Typical Torano quality construction. Beautiful dark wrapper. Slightly tough draw demands a full cut. First taste impression is similar to a Torano Exodus, progressing to a medium bodied, full maduro flavor with a spicy complex finish. Simply delicious and in my opinion the best Torano I have ever smoked. This cigar is a real sleeper and an excellent value. It will find a place in rotation with my CAO and Padron Anniversary maduros. It's that good.

"A guessing game"
While these are generally top notch gigars, sometimes you take a chance with them being in glass tubes and not being able to inspect them closely. Because of that, I sometimes get a cigar that has been rolled too tightly. That said, this torpedo had a wonderful dark and meaty taste, but the draw was a bit of a struggle. Some severe canoeing took place as well. Overall, the positive flavor aspects slightly outweigh the negative construction.

"Great Find"
This is a medium bodied maduro. A creamy flavor with a great aftertaste. A slightly tough draw without cutting quite a bit off the tip. The finest smoke I have found yet.

"excellent"
This tubed brown torpedostick is really excellent. A bit pricy cause of the glass tube but very good construction and aroma. Woody and earthy taste with some herbal notes.
