"Good smoke"
Torano never lets me down. They just build super solid cigars. This one felt like a rock, but it burned superbly and was indeed not dry as one would think with such a firm construction. I felt that there was a macaroon flavor to this cigar. A subtle sweet, yet not sweet profile that really went well with my Boston Lager.

I have yet to have a Torano that I thought missed the mark for construction. Tight weave and smooth pull...always.

"Surprise! Surprise!"
I got a 4 of these when I bought a couple of samplers on line. Praised be the internet. I buy samplers because I’m not flush enough to go for the high enders as often as I would like and besides, who wants to eat the same thing every day. Cows? Even if it was foix gras. These were the worst looking cigars in the sampler and were almost brick hard. They had not been given much love and care and which was probably why they were in the sampler to begin with. A few months in my humidor did not remedy this situation very much. I’m not a maduro maven and the Brazilian wrapper doesn’t have a whole lot of eye appeal to begin with.
I’m not all that familiar with this ‘signature’ line of cigars and I didn’t have great expectations when I finally got around to lighting one up. As with other perfectos I’ve smoked, this cigar is pre-cut at both ends. You may want to moil-up the end you put in your mouth, just a bit. In fact, what the hell, give both ends a little snip. (So you’re not a rabbi!) Kind of customizes things, empowers the male ego and might actually improve stoke up and draw. Still, the first one I smoked was a tad difficult to light, which may be a quirk of the perfecto shape.
Surprise! Surprise! (Don’t you just love that occasional pleasant surprise). Smoke! Wonderful! Wonderful! Smoke! A maduro with a bit of a hit. Not, hit-you-over-the-head-Cuban machismo, but like that first good cuppa joe in the morning, sans cream and sugar. Earthy, but without that horrible grassy finish the uninitiated cigar smokers and some reviewers seem to love and confuse as ‘flavor’. You ask yourself, so, how could something this petite have so much character?
Instinct, like some great crawling cat waiting for the prey’s next move, kicks in. Reach for the Black Bush to help this perfecto live up to its name. It has to be 12 noon someplace. Three fingers…..well maybe a little more. Pour and puff. The lyrics “horse and carriage’ briefly drift through the brain. Near nirvana.
Clearly this is not one of those ‘hecho a mano’ dog rockets that are thrown into the sampler and pretend they sell for $10 bucks a pop. A stroke of good luck for mois. This cigar isn’t even in good condition and it keeps on delivering. A very good smoke, no doubt about it.
I won’t bore you with the details. I gave the other 3 bricks away to some appreciative friends (moochers all). I’m half way through my first box and not an iota of disappointment have I.
A terrific smoke! Burns, long and well. Let this little perfecto be with you. Break down and buy one from your local cigar store. Then buy a box on the internet. Praised be the internet. Your humidor should never be without a couple of these so you have an excuse to drink Black Bush. That is, if you ever really need one, after all, it gotta be 12 o’clock some place. Smoke on!!!!

"Good cigar, slight disappointment"
After reading reviews and staring at the beautiful construction of the cigar, I may have raised my expectations too high. The cigar had a tight draw, and burned very hot with an unpleasant flavor.

"One of my favorites"
Here's a good one. The wrapper was a beautiful, silky mottled dark brown and had a scent reminiscent of creosote but much much nicer. The draw was good but near the end got somewhat tight but a little massage easily fixed that problem. The flavor was medium to full and very complex. Since it was as perfecto shape the real beauty of this cigar came right at the sweet spot in the middle and there the flavors were rich, and spicy. I loved the licorice hints in the smoke's aroma. Glad I've got 4 more in the humidor.

"A good, short go-to cigar"
I love this cigar on a rainy or cold day. Great construction and burn. Flavor is a blast of coffee which mellows at the bulge and develops into a great leather and sweet maduro flavor, coffee flavor makes a short comeback towards the end. All around great smoke. A little age only makes these better!

"Another under ratted smoke"
Mmm mmm mmm. I love the wa this perfecto opens up, showing ooled relaxed notes at first light, then it bursts open as the RG widens and goes up in flames.

very spicey with a vanilla like backing. Similar to the CAO Brazilia but deffinitly with its own personality. i bought the box!

"Somewhat Overrated"
A lot of people talk about the Signature Perfecto as if it were manna from God. It's a good cigar but it doesn't deserve the exceptionally high reviews it gets. Overwhelming taste of leather with hints of coffee and earth. Kudos to Torano for taking most of the barnyard out of this maduro wrapper. Always well constructed with a straight burn and ash that holds on for miles. Very handsome looking shape and wrapper. This cigar's single best attribute is its sublime, almost floral coffee-like aroma. Gets hot and a little sour at the end: let's you know when you're done.

"Nice Earthy Smoke"
The Signature perfecto opens up with an earthy introduction, followed by sweet maduro accented with flavors of Columbian coffee and leather. It starts out with a very light bite, but this quickly mellows out and by mid-point the smoke is smooth; not creamy exactly, but carefree. The flavor continues with an earthy base. Eventually the leather gives way to sweet wood, until the two-thirds point (just past the first band) where it becomes slightly bitter, signalling the end of the cigar for me. Perfect construction. A nice medium-bodied earthy smoke for any time of day.

Great perfecto shape, dark smooth wrapper, burned flawlessly. Started leathery and stayed pleasantly strong and leathery for 2/3, when it developed coffee flavors. Alas, it did not last long enough.

"My new favorite"
I was so blown away by the first couple of these that I had to hold off on this review until I was absolutely sure that I wasn't kidding myself. So by now, I've had at least ten of these, each one better than the next. It's a brilliant complex spicy number, with a razor sharp burn, and perfect draw (which sometimes takes a few draws to develop, so be patient). Best $5 cigar out there right now.

"May I have some more please Sir??"
Lots of peppery spice and roasted coffe flavours in the first inch. After that some very nice Espresso and cedery wood notes. Burn and draw were top with no real issues. Would deffinately get some more of these.

"Eye candy"
Not being a great Torano fan made this a nice surprise. The shape is a nice change of pace. Dark and oily with lots of great smoke. Excellent burn and draw made this a painless enjoyable experience. A medium to full bodied maduro with hints of wood and coffee. Excellent construction and beautifully presented first tier cigar. A winner.

"Beautiful little perfecto"
I really like the perfecto shape and these are a stellar rendition of that art form; a little more costly and harder to roll than a parejo, but worth it. Burned and smoked very well, with a good flavor tho not a multi-dimensional smoke. I'd rate it as a full bodied cigar - it has some kick to it. These are definitely worth trying and a good value for a perfecto.

"Pretty tasty"
Pretty cigar, nice wrapper. Lit it up and the burn stabilized by itself and was fine all the way down. Draw was good, no problems there. Smoke was medium plus, good body, wonderful roasted coffee, sweet slightly spicy taste. Taste changed and was more complex in second half. I enjoyed this ... I'll buy more.

"A Crowd Pleaser"
The mini-perfecto is my favorite style of cigar, and few manufacturers seem to make them. Maybe they are too much trouble? Anyway, this one is very tasty maduro that merits a "premium" label. The construction is consistently good.
