"Great flavor, Awful construction"
The Costa Rican maduro wrapper is gorgeous, dripping with oil and redolent of earth and cedar. It fires up with a powerful earthy taste, very similar to the 1916 Cameroon, but without the spice of the Cameroon. There is a sharp element that quickly mellows. Unfortunately, I had construction problems with this stick. The draw is very loose, and for the first inch or so the cigar tunnels. It burns hot, even when smoked very slowly...just something not right about this single. Hopefully it was just this one stick, because the flavor is rich with all I expected. But at 8 to 10 dollars a stick, I also expect excellent construction.

"Torano fan!"
I have always liked most of the Torano line. Excellent construction and superb blending are a hallmark for most of thier cigars. This cigar is no different. In fact, it was one of the best cigars I have ever smoked! Beautiful dark, toothy, shiney wrapper. It looks like it has been aged for a good
long time. The construction is flawless and the flavour keeps you coming back for more. Price keeps me from smoking these every day, but if I could.....Highly recomended.
