"Nice Everyday Smoke"
I got a few of these at my local Cigar Shop and had them in the humi for about 4 months. I decided to smoke one on Sunday morning and I was surprised. I got em for about 5 bucks a stick and it was well worth it. Nice draw, even burn, no issues at all. I reco this smoke if you can get em for about 5 bucks not more.

"the average grade is spot on"
definitely a nice cigar, however there are just too many others that do this blend better, IMO. Smells nice, constructed well, and smoked smoothly with nice firm ash. Expresso flavor dominated by an earthy palate that only hints of sweetness and spice. Maybe others might like this mixture more than I.

"Good Torano smoke"
The wrapper of this fairly thick and well made torpedo is dark and oily. The draw and burn are fine. This is a meaty, leathery smoke with a slight bitterness to it that falls somewhere between dark chocolate and burnt toast. Also a bit of licorice on the finish. Overall, another good Torano cigar.

"Harsh, pungent, greasy, overly floral"
Those are the five words I think best describe this Carlos T. stick. It was so unfortunate because ever since I had a taste of the Exodus line, I've been super excited about Toranos. Thus far, all but the Exodus have been disappointing or merely decent. Sometimes I like an oily cigar, but something about this wrapper's abundance of oil didn't agree with me at all. Almost stomach churning. And as oily as the wrapper was, I would have expected it to peel less. It had a robust, coffee flavor, but it tasted of BAD coffee. I've had so, so much better. I've got a CT 1916 waiting for me. I hope to heck it's an improvement.

"episodes of greatness"
tried to robusto, didnt develop as nicely as the torp. very nice episodes of tasty expresso. 1st inch was just spice though, didnt like. contructed well, so far burn/draw has been excellent on the three I've smoked. Nice consistent dark chocolate appearance. Another great Torana product.

"a good one"
Nice coffee/mocha taste throughout. Similar finish to a CAO Brazilia. Not the most exciting cigar, but a good one nonetheless.

"A better Montecristo Afrique Cigar"
This cigar is a more smooth version of the Montecristo Afrique Cigar, at least the Jambo Jambo. The taste is exactly the same. Only it is more subtle and smooth

"What happened?"
After an outstanding every day experience from the first box I'm now into my second box and wondering what the hell happened? It seems that consistency is a serious issue at Torano. There is little to no characteristics that this second box shares with the first....a real dissapointment in full, many are just plain unsmokable....many very bitter and just disgusting. Construction is still top notch but that's the only good thing I have to say....I wonder how long I'll be chasing the dragon so to speak before I tire out and look elsewhere...This set of ratings is based on this second box as well as several singles from various cigar shops....unfortunately having more in common with the second box than the first.

"A journey"
......I've smoked thousands of cigars....I've sampled one ore more vitoles from every respectable cuban brand excluding Vegueros, and Vegas Robaina....sampled many of yesterdays and todays brands found in american and european markets......I don't like the majority of Toranos....but the Crescendo from the Virtusoso line firmly ranks in my list of top 50 cigars I've ever smoked....this is a long long list of memorable smokes....words cannot do justice, but I shall make an attempt....perfect construction, well balanced (weight), no soft spots, a very tight, skilled roll-but with effortless draw with a cut of approximately 5 ring guage!....subtle, but enticing prelight aroma and flavor.....a very sweet, creamy and mellow initial and first phase, with minimal progression from light to 1st, shortly after departure from the 1st phase, more pronounced flavores of chocolate, leather, cream, spice....into the second, a taggering amount of flavor has built up, but never harsh, never bitter.....much much more spices; cinnamon, cumin, sage, tyme, nutmeg....by now, cedar and oak is ever present, very bold-yet classy.....quick progression through a myriad of flavors into a concentrated and very well balanced symphony of a finnish.....I didn't want it to end, I literally burnt my fingers and lips-not because it was burning hot, but because I smoked it down to nearly a quarter inch......I haven't been this excited about a cigar in quite some time, this rating system needs an upgrade because tens are an insult. My only reason for giving an 8 in appearence is because I've seen a box of Cuban Partagas Lusitanias that were absolutely flawless in appearence.

"stout but monotone"
Beautiful cigar, but it canoed badly and required 3 touch ups to straighten out, about half way down. Full bodied with strong leathery flavor, it was not at all complex (did not develop other flavors).

"more depth"
This cigar was well made with a dark toothy wrapper with lots of oil. The foot lit well and held a solid salt and pepper ash. The taste was medium to full and the notes just needed more depth, they were hit and miss at best, with some roasted coffe and leather every now an than.

"Torano does it again"
This cigar when I first purchased it didn't do much for me, I then left them in the humidor for approximately 2 months, and revisited them again, what a difference the complexity in flavors was remarkable, smooth, cool and the noted Torano construction (impeccable) this cigar was smoked after I had smoked a Partagas Series 2, and it blew that cigar away, gotta get me more of these!

"Earthy"
A well balanced cigar that starts out medium bodied and gradually builds up to a full bodied smoke. It's a gorgeous stick with good construction. The colorado maduro wrapper is smooth, slightly oily and very attractive. It burns unevenly at times, needing an occasional correction in its journey to the nub. This cigar has a composty kind of aroma that just isn't to my liking. But still it's a high quality smoke that I will recommend to those who like… that sort of thing.

"Great Cigar"
I recieved two to try from my club, and was very pleasantly surprised by this selection. Perfect construction, beautiful oily, dark wrapper. Burn was perfect. Taste was excellant, sweet, flavorable, no harshness. Tasted cocoa, coffee, and spicy ligero... but combined such that none of the competing flavors dominated. This has a complex, enjoyable taste. Fuller than most Torano's, with a respectable amount of strength, but conveyed in a smooth manner.

"Good Cigar"
Very good cigar, one of the best wrappers I've ever seen. The wrapper had tons of oil to it making it look super glossy. The flavor was dark coffee all the way through. A very good smoke, I will buy these again!

"Nice very nice"
I love the Torano Exodus line and my B&M raved about this one from his tasting at the RTDA in 2005. Well made and easy drawing made a ton of smoke and was rich to the end. Medium bodied to my palate and medium in depth with roasted flavors, cocoa and cream and hints of dark coffee. Very nice aroma and got sweeter towards the end. Best recommendation was from girl friend who said it would become a regular and that the smell made her want to immediately "...jump my bones."

"Light and airy, while tangy and herbal."
This cigar had an amazingly open and easy draw. It gave way to a presentation of tea leaves, and honey, with a mild earthy undertone. It had an extremely tangy bite that was dominated by the taste of tea leaves, yet it had nuances of leather and pepper. The wrapper was veinless, and had noteable craftmanship. The burn was even, and the ash was tight and grey. Overall, I think it was a good smoke; I just don't enjoy the herbal/earthy taste as much as other people do. Towards the bottom 1/3rd, it mellowed, but overall, it was very tangy and biting. I think someone who appreciates these flavors more than I do, will love this cigar, especially for the price.
