"nah"
One-dimensional flavor with almost no finish. Let them sit for almost 1 year and tried another. Same thing. Just not an impressive smoke.

"Not thrilled"
I smoked this after my 1916, and greatly preferred the former. This cigar seemed to have a harsh flavor to it, not enjoyable. I usually prefer cigars that are more full bodied so that is not the issue. Also, the draw was sub par and so was the smoke...

"very impressed"
This is my first cigar from the Carlos Torano line and I will be coming back for more. The appearance of this cigar is ok, a few spots here and there and a prominent vain, but overall not bad. I clipped ofd the cap and the draw seemed ok, a little tighter than I would like but acceptable. Most cigar reviews are divided into thirds, but there were four distinct sections in this cigar to me. The first 1/4th was nice, a combination of coffee and cocoa. After that the draw loosened up a little and was perfect. A loose draw with a little give not sloppy at all. Here is where some nuttiness came through and gained a nice toasty finish. The 3/4th was all nutty (a cashew like taste) with some woodiness, the cocoa was gone. The last quarter was where I was surprised. The cashew taste remained and some bittersweet chocolate flavors came through. I smoked this to the nub and got a good hour and a half from it. This is one of the best cigars I have smoked to date. Granted, I haven't tried some of the higher end smokes, but I wont hesitate to pick this up again. This cigar was from a CS member, but at the MSRP of $6.50 I would consider this a good deal. Thanks for reading.

"expected more"
I expected a bit more ... flavour I guess. not as sweet as expected, but nice earthy, oily flavours. a little spice did it well too. burned like a dream, like most Torano cigars. I still would prefer the Signature Robusto though.

"Age them and smoke 'em slow"
I smoked one of these straight out the box about 9-12 months ago and it wasn't very complex and got very bitter towards the end. Age did them well they developed into a rich complex cigar. Nice coffee/mocha/earth flavor. Make sure you smoke them slow. I smoked them at a slower rate then usual and it seemed to compliment the cigar more. A buddy huffed hard and fast which resulted in a bitter smoke that got hot.

"Thoroughly enjoyable. Tough price."
Wonderful oily, dark Nicaraguan wrapper. Solid draw and burn. Nice meaty flavors of mocha, spice, and coffee within a slightly sweet tobacco base. This reminded me of an El Rey Del Mundo Maduro. Only drawback was the tough price of $6. This stick had been in the box for about 40 days.

"Not bad"
Not my favorite in the Torano lines for sure. Very earthy, full-bodied smoke that lacks some depth of flavor. Starts to take on a nice cinnamony flavor on the last 1/4, but not enough to really knock my socks off. Draw was pretty tight, but burn was even. An okay cigar for the money, but there are better values out there.

"A Torano I can sink my teeth into"
Big dark meaty oily smoke. Been thru more than a box of these dark beauties. Not a real big Torano fan but I like the strength of this smoke. Good draw and burn with very little touching up. Not real good with subtle nuances in cigars but the flavor of this is to my liking. Meaty full bodied smoke that goes quite nicely after a hearty meal. A keeper in my humidor.
