"Nutty Buddy"
Lots of nuts on the palate with this little fellow. My wife got one for aChristmas present and gave it to me. Couldn't resist smoking it, probably should have aged it more, but it was still tasty. Nice burn and draw. Can't really speak to the price since it was a gift.

"Great Things Do Come In Small Packages"
As someone who has to smoke outside this is the perfect "special occasion" smoke for when it's real cold out. Outstanding construction, draw and taste! This little smoke packs true Cuban flavor that isn't harsh. Especially when you don't have a lot of time. Because their size is not intimidating I've found the ladies really like them! A very nice 1st Cuban for newbies. Bring a few to the next party and they'll go over big!

"First Cuban"
For my first cuban I was extremely pleased. I only wish I had a larger size as this was a gift from a friend. Nice tight wrapper and truly a tasty cigar for the size I can't wait to get my hands on another cohiba

"Finally"
I couldn't believe this was my first Sig I. I have been digging the IIs, so I lit this one up (from '06), and was duly impressed. Tasted "older" than 2 years old, not as much of the grassy flavor you get with larger fresh Cohibas. Bean and coffee flavors, and suprisingly mild but flavorful. Perfect burn and a great draw with smoke that belied its small size. Definitely diggin' the smaller Cohibas lately.

"A wonderful little smoke"
Though small this little Siglo is wonderful! Its a very smooth smoke and exudes the classic Cohiba qualities. Its priced right for such a small cigar but I'll probably buy the Siglo II & III in the future just for the value of having a longer smoking experience.

"Not impressed"
I bought a box of 5 and i did the mistake of not opening it until i was way too far from the cigar shop. The SIG I were veiny and two of them with poor caps. The draw was only above average the ash solid the burn ok. Medium body but encountered nothing complex or outstanding for the price paid. The cedar flavours were there as well as pepper but for me Diplo's #5 for less than half the price or Partagas shorts for complexity and satisfaction not to mention R.Alones pc's or small club coronas. There are better Cohibas

"TLC=Tasty Little Cohiba"
Being of the mind that Cohibas are over rated, or maybe over priced is more accurate, because they are a good smoke, plus what humidor is complete with out them! At any rate, prefering PCs I picked up a box of these from Feb 2007, young but I had to give a couple a try before putting them in the humi to age. Beautiful presentation & construction, perfect slow even burn, creamy cedar & peppery with a tingly finish. Great with my morning coffee. I'm not disapointed at all & am looking forward to how these will age.

"Another Great Cohiba, in its smallest package"
I had forgotten to have this little thing in my humidor...what best time to smoke it than while watching the France F1 Grand Prix (and see Ferrari doing a double?)?
Well, this is a true Cohiba, powerful but smooth, well constructed even if with some tiny combustion problems toward the end. It has that great feel good factor that only best things in life can give....and it almost burned my finger. Grand Prix was not finished yet, but Ferrari was still leading one-two....

"One of the most powerful cigars I've had."
This cigar had a different smell from all the other cigars I to a wiff of, the construction wasn't too hard but looks like it held very well. The wrapper looks really tough, not rugged but you can tell that it's a little thick and looks like it would take a few blows(or drops on the floor).
Snip the little bastid and tested the prelight draw, it was alot tighter than I'd like it to be so I poked it with my homemade cigar poker. I dry puffed on it a few more times to try and get some flavor out of it so I'd know what to expect. I mostly got that nicotine tingle feeling so I decided to light it up.
Easy even light, took my first puff, and I wasn't too impressed, I tasted a good amount of pepper and some hints of what I think was woody goodness. I took a few more puffs and BOOM this thing exploded with flavors, I kept trying to figure out what I was experiencing but I just couldn't put my finger on what my tounge was going through. I did taste a young but it was still very flavorful and enjoyable.
Flavor kept changing, coming and going throughout the whole cigar. The nicotine kicked my ass big time, it was like smoking an opus but the nicotine went straight to my head, I found myself sitting on the shower floor under a warm water splashing all over me.

"pretty average"
Aged 3 years. Nice looking, small cigar that had a fantastic bouquet. Body was mild to medium. The soil.cream flavor, while nice, never really took off. The last 1/3 turned to a grass.leather.soil.pepper flavor that was much more interesting than the rest of the cigar. Burn was fine, draw was tight in places. I'm a little underwhelmed at this price point.

"good. but"
What can I say, it's a good smoke, minus some constructin/burn problems but... when you've had the slightly bigger brother siglo 2 this one just doesn't compare. As I said this is by no means bad but I will not go out and buy a box of these any time soon.

"Great stick"
A big taste in a small package! This petit corona is wrapped with a silky brown wrapper with minimal veins. Great prelight aroma. Excellent construction without soft spots. Easy light. Perfect draw. Even burn without the need for corrections or relights. Gray black ash. Tons of blue-white smoke. Started with grass and white pepper, and then melded its way into notes of vanilla, milky coffee, grass, and herbs in the first third. In the middle third, flavors of cocoa, worn leather, and wood were built on the grassy foundation. In the last third, a toasted tobacco taste was prominent. All in all, this 30 minute medium-full bodied smoke fwith a box code NRG 5/05 was a tasty firecracker. Much less pepper and spice than the Party Short, but distinctly more complex. Its youth was apparent by the tannic undertones which ran the course of the stick, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Would buy more for sure!

"Small but good!"
Despite it's puny size, this cigar is chock full of great flavors. The light was medium in body, toasty and nutty with occasional coffee tones and building to the middle. There was a spot of harshness right at the halfway point, but that went away quickly and was replaced with a solid charry note. I usually prefer the Robusto sizes, but this one is a surprisingly good cigar for the small ring.

"A great experience"
This small cigar is expensive, but worth it. I agree with the other raters about the taste - it was rich and spicy from start to finish. It did require relighting toward the end, a task made difficult by my perseverence to smoke it down to about a quarter of an inch. Great little cigar!

"Not bad...not great"
My go to cigar is Partagas Shorts, and I like smaller cigars due to time constraints on my smoking. The Siglo I is a pretty cigar with the nice wrapper, cap, and classic band. My Party shorts make this cigar look small, thats how small this Perla is. Punched it and it lit up nicely. Quite dark ash, typical habano gray. Taste started off great, smooth habano taste, creamy, woody, quite nice - started and remained stronger than Party shorts. Burn required some attention, but nothing serious. Draw was perfect. Half way down I noticed some bitterness that detracted. This one was less than a year old, my shorts smoke much better at this age (Partagas shorts - you silly boy). They are also quite a bit cheaper. Still, the Siglo 1 is a classy likeable cigar that I wouldn't mind having more of.

"Smooooooth"
When I slid the cover of the cabinet open a full frontal assault of cedar hit me head on, and the lovely scent clung to the stick. Beautiful caramel colored wrapper with no blemishes and almost invisible veins. One small fold marred an otherwise perfect cigar. The triple cap was deep, even, and artfully applied. It had a great springy feel and the pre light taste and aroma are to die for. The trademark Cohiba band slid off smoothly with no resistance.
Clipped deeply and cleanly, and sparked easily with an amazing amount of smoke. Damn! Hard to believe so much smoke could have fit in such a small package! Gallons of mellow, mouth filling smoke billowed forth. Spicy yet refined, the cedar flavor is forward and lovely. A dark gray ash followed the inky black burn ring and clung tightly for two solid inches. The finish was smooth and satisfying with a noticeable mellow cedar tone.
Enjoyed on the porch with a nice strong double shot of espresso in the light rain, this cigar was very forward in its presentation. Complex notes of heather, coffee, leather, and of course cedar frolicked in the medium bodied taste. Light blue smoke curled from the lit end and the huge clouds of smoke that issued from each puff had a nice beige tint to them. A stately five point (western count) buck stood and watched as I savored the experience of this smallest of the Siglo line. He seemed to enjoy the experience as much as I did.
Overall this was an amazingly powerful cigar for being so well aged and such a small vitola. The balanced flavor was never too strong, but packed an incredible punch. If this cigar was any bigger I fear I would have gotten the dreaded Cuban flu from it. As it was I had a lovely 30 minutes of heavenly smoking pleasure and a nice lingering finish that smacked of well aged cedar smoothness. Highly recommended!

"Modest little smoke"
The modest little demitasse cigar was a nice smoke to quickly wind down my day. The cardboard colored wrapper showed a decent amount of tooth and the triple cap was perfect. I really enjoyed the smoke. It's only flaw was the firm draw which near the end made it unsmokable. The flavor was fairly spicy, although it did relent as I smoked it down. There were hints of orange peel.

Bought 3 boxes for the price of two on a special back in 2000. Aged really well. Smokes incredibly well. A great cigar if you're looking for the Cohiba flavor in a short smoke.
