"Hmmm"
This is my first review on this site, and this Davidoff will have the privilege to be the first.

I wasn't very impressed with this cigar at all. We expected much more and we were thinking about the line of the worst Davidoff in the 80's.

My business partner had a few boxes at his home and he sent a few down my way to stock in my humidors. We smoked a few and we werent very impressed by them, always saying to ourselve, maybe later, nothing compared to our Robaina, Cohiba or Trinidad.

To start off, this is probably one of the ugliest cigar I've seen in a long time. The wrapper is plain ugly, just say it loud "fugly!"
The cigar is pretty light in structure and very smooth at the touch. Not a strong built at all.
The construction seems a so so, while my partner the wrapper went away, mine stayed there with no hesitation.

The flavor of the cigar at first was pretty harst, I even remember saying to myself "what in hell the president of Davidoff is saying talking about milder cigars in the industry". It was spicy, very harsh tobaco flavours. Then at the half of the cigar, it mellowed down quite hard. It went from harst to smooth, pretty smooth with some nutty, piney and leathery flavours.

Not bad, but I've had better

PS: The smoke coming from that cigar caused my wife to be sick! Which never happened before.

"I'm glad it was free"
Got one of these for free at a Davidoff event and was sorely disappointed. I'd tried a few things from the Avo and Griffin's lines, and actually prefered some of the smokes within the later makes. Save your money and buy a Griffin's 2000 - the mild flavor is almost identical.

"consistent and trustworthy"
great cigar especially if you have clients and you don't want anything to go wrong with the cigar offering. Smooth, creamy mildly nutty and a perfect burn --- laser straight. Flavor was a little too light for me but, I'm more of a maduro man.

"not that impressed"
I have to admit, I'm not a Davidoff expert and up until a week ago I'd never smoked this brand before. However, a recent trip to the Dominican Republic helped me get aquainted to this brand. Though I'm a bit confused because the brand I smoked was the Anniversario No 3 and it's a torpedo, 7x48. I've searched around and I have not been able to find the same cigar anywhere here in the states. mervin338@excite.com if you've got any ideas. Anyway.... I was not that impressed with the cigar. It was mild and the the taste was not unpleasant but the cigar didn't leave a lasting impression on me and all things considered I found it to a little above average at best. They were cheap in the DR though - a box of 4 for only $20.

"If there's better..."
mild cigar, I don't know it. Impeccable in every sense. Light sweet, creamy taste stays thru the last inch. Loads of smooth and cool smoke. Davidoff rules the mild space of the universe!!!

"Love it"
I love this cigar. It is a nice mild break from the power cigars that have been flooding the market lately. Mild with a soothing taste, I highly recommend. The only downer is the price...somewhat ridiculous.
