"Wow, what a surprize"
Wow, what a surprize, IMHO better than the Opus. Great flavor great construction, unfortunately a little pricey.

"Keeps Getting Better with Age"
I kept a few of these for the past couple of years. It is as good as the first ones I tried and maybe better. First class all the way. Will compete with cubans.

"Polished but overpriced"
The construction and blend are clearly a subject of great pride to the manufacturer, but the mild flavor is just uninspiring to me. I wish there was a bit more depth and spice.

"A Tasty, Mild Smoke"
Break in the weather, so I pulled one out of the humi. Nice prelight aroma, perfect wrapper, firm feel from foot to head. Initially the draw was a but tight, but became better as it burned down. Very even burn. Nice, warm flavors without a bit of harshness

"Smoke em if you got em"
So far, I am just utterly impressed by the Maximus line. Another perfect 10! I picked up half a humidor of these with the collector's edition case. Wow. Great heavy smoke, smooth flavor and just a phenenomal hit.

"Could not be better"
This is a perfect cigar for me. Light aged Conn, wrap and not a vein in sight. It is mellow with lots of flavor. I smoke these every day but just a bit on the pricey side.

"HMMMM Good"
I remember when these first came out nearly ten years ago. There was a lot of hype with this and Opus X line. This was the weaker of the two lines. Construction if flawless; as is the Opus X. Full of smoke;dry on the front end and good flavor all the way to the nub. I however, stick to the stronger big brohter Maximus. There are better smokes for less $$$, but if I am spending the money the Maximus is worth it.

"Crowning Achievement"
A mild dryish smoke that is definately for those who walk on the mild side.

"Real good smoke"
Real good smoke, as are all in this line. Burns easy, nice draw, no hardsh taste. A bit pricey to be an everyday cigar but still a solid smoke

"A short giant"
The Diamond Crown #3 is listed as a Toro but the extra 1/2 inch length and larger ring guage make it seem more like a short giant. A beautiful light tan wrapper with a slight shine and nary a vein. Firm to the touch, this smoke is packed with tobacco.

"Worthy of the Diamond"
I GOT THIS CIGAR AS A GIFT FROM THE NEWMAN FAMILY ON THEIR LAUNCH OF THE DIAMOND CROWN IN TAMPA. IT WAS A GREAT CELEBRATION AND THIS CIGAR PROVED TO BE WELL WORTHY OF THE 'DIAMOND' AND 'CROWN' NAME. I HOPE I CAN FIND SOME MORE
