"Outstanding! A 'sleeper' worth discovering!"
Was a little tentative as I had the cap unraveled after I barely snipped the end. I persevered and WOW was it worth it! Effortless draw; near perfect burn. Flavorful and complex. The ash held together for 3 1/2 of this baby's 5 inches (Robusto #5)! Every bit as deserving as the higher end Padrons (my all-time favs). Get one and try it!!

"Exceptional"
Very good cigar with a great deal of complexity of flavors. This cigar doesn't get a lot of rave but I think it belongs right with the rest of the big boys in the Fuente line.
Very impressive.

"OK smoke"
Mild. Creamy flavors with black pepper hints. Had some burn issues.

"A nice Smoke"
I had this one sleeping for a while. You don't here much about these they get lots between the Opus and the Padron but they are worth the look. I found to to be mild to medium. The construction was good no soft stops, great smoke, but burn was not the best and required a couple of corrections. If you can get past the burn this one was a keeper I would put it with (but just under padron 1926 line). Overall nice to have in the Humi just to mix it up every now and then.

"Not long, but strong enough"
Like 'em on the light-to-medium side. This is quite delicious. Nice even burn.

"Top Dog"
I just absolutely love this cigar. If money was not a consideration, I would smoke this one everday. Full bodied and whew what thick smoke, yet smooth to the core.

"Phenomenal Stick!"
During these chillier days, it's nice to light up a short one. This one fits the bill. Great prelight aroma, smooth wrapper, flawless construction. Tons of cedary smoke with a woody finish.

"This is the one!!!"
Finally! After a year if searching, I have found a cigar that is consistent all the way through. Beautiful smooth wrapper. It was mild, but creamy and never became harsh. The thick ring gauge made it a challenge to keep lit and burn evenly. The price ($11.25 in NYC) prohibits this cigar from becoming an everyday smoke. Will try the La Unicas next - same makers (Newman & Fuente) - but they may be half the price!

"A nice but did nothing for me cigar"
As far as this robusto went, I it to have a similar taste pattern to the opus's, though slightly different and not as strong. The wrapper on the DC's was almost tasteless (to me) - so I could taste the core flavors more easily. Overall, I'd probably smoke the shorter robusto's when I wanted something relaxing - but just doesn't make the grade for me compared to the hemingway line. I much prefer the short story, work of art, best seller and signature perfectos.

"Great Cigar"
A very mild to medium bodied smoke. You never get a bite with this cigar. Great 45 minutes of pleasure. Expensive but worth it.

"Very nice"
Small 4 1/2" stick with deceivingly good flavor. Nice tawny brown wrapper with no veins and no soft spots. East light. Burn was a little hot at first (despite 3 months at 65/65), but even throughout. Started with mild cedar and wood, but blossomed into a fairly strong cedar flavor. Slightly one-dimensional, in that the existing flavors got stronger as I smoked it, but were not joined by other appreciable elements. Depsite that, I enjoyed the 40 minutes I had with this one, and virtually nubbed it. Flaky gray ash. Plumes of smoke! Went well with a light single barrel bourbon. All in all, an enjoyable cigar that I would defintely smoke again. Glad I bought 5!

"MONTECRISTO IN DISGUISE"
Started out mild and became a medium smoke. I thought I was smoking a Montecristo Robusto! I had to double check the band to make sure it wasn't. Anyway, a decent smoke, but too pricey!

"diamond crown rocks"
bought this cigar in La Jolla, Ca. at a shop where I was also able to pick up a opus x and a padron annivesario 1964, all I can say about it is that it edged out the opus x in my comparison, smooth draw, mild flavor and good burn without any runs, I liked it so much I bought a box from bonitas ( which have the best price too. ) and can't wait to smoke another

"One of my favorites"
I had passed over this cigar many times. Finally I decided to splurge and plunk down the $10.50 for this tiny stick. I was in heaven!!! Excellant flavor, good draw, perfect construction. My only complaint is that the #5 was too small; I didn't want it to end!!! Next time I am going to buy a #3

"Expensive...but worth every penny!"
After hearing how good this cigar was from many people I decided to try it out. I am not usually fond of paying $10.00 for a 4 1/2 inch robusto, but I'm glad I did. The construction was great with a perfect wrapper that was so smooth and silky it was hard to believe it was made of tobacco. The draw was just about perfect; maybe a little on the tight side, but nothing to complain about. After lighting it up I was shocked when my wife actually complimented how it smelled better than any other cigar she has smelled - And she isn't too fond of cigars. The taste was mild-medium bodied with a ton of complexity and flavor for such a mild cigar. The burn was perfect all the way to the very end. Overall, this is one of the best cigars I have ever purchased, and it will definately become one of my "special occasion" smokes.

"An expensive cigar"
An expensive cigar, and it doesn't give a full delivery. It has nice taste, and good burn, but nothing to make tis a regular in my humidor.
