"Nice smoke"
A thin lonsdale with sort of a mottled wrapper (perhaps because it is aged, I don't know). I'm not a big fan of this vitola, but it has a nice rich woody smoke. It smokes slowly but evenly. It does not have the richness of a No. 2, but I wouldn't expect it to out of this shape. The flavor stays good to the end. I must note that one of the sticks was fairly plugged, although not as bad as the plugged Monte's.

"lotta cigar"
My second vitola by Diplomaticos (No.2 is a great smoke as well) and my first box of lonsdales. I'm equally impressed with the No. 1...the distinctive Diplomaticos power...plenty of strength with a full, rich cedar finish. They are constructed superbly, and feel great in the hand. I've smoked 4 out of the box, each was identical in burn, draw, taste and shape. The flavors change several times throughout the smoke, more than I could identify with a not too experienced palate, but it starts on a slightly floral note, goes through some spicyness, and throughout the tobacco flavors are truly rich and terrific in taste. I recommend this to anyone who likes, of course, old-school Habanos and a nice strong hour and 20 minute smoke.
