"Holy Smokes"
Not only is this cigar reasonably priced, but it is great looking and great tasting. The packaging was top notch as well. The flavor was complex and the burn slow and even. The experience in making these cigars was easy to see and feel. at around 50 bucks a box, this is a high end ciga with a every day smoke price.
The Cubans taste better, but the construction is the same.

"Is it me??"
I am getting a complex. I keep running into cigars with a big reputation that just don't do it for me.
This is one of those. Maybe I am not a Villazon kind of guy. I have yet to find one that rings my bell.I find the construction and looks nothing more than average. The flavor seems to me to be very light and rather one dimensional. All in all this is an OK smoke but really nothing here to hold my attention. Another disappointment. I'll keep trying.

"Tastes great (less filling?)"
I've only smoked one of these so far, but I feel compelled to review it. First, the negatives: I experienced some burn issues--uneven burn leading to cupping--as well as other construction issues (the cap really disintegrated when I cut the cigar, but that might've been due to my fault as a newbie). However, these flaws are really overshadowed by the delicious, delicious taste & aroma. I kept sniffing the cigar because the scent is so satisfying. I can only describe it as a toasty chocolate chip with walnuts. In the first half, the cigar was mild and pleasantly sweet, with a light and pleasant aftertaste. Things got spicy toward the end, but it was a really sharp spiciness on the tongue that quickly gave way to other flavors--not harsh or off-putting. In short, I can't wait to smoke more of these, and I'll most likely buy more--great bargain!

"Peppery Flavor"
I really like this cigar (tho I am a fan of ERdMs in general). It smokes very well: good even burn, great draw. Never gets bitter or nasty even when I smoke down to the nub. To me it is unique among the ERdM line in that it has a distinct "peppery" flavor - more so than the Robusto en Videro which has a less pronounced pepper flavor. My only complaint is that they seem to be available only in boxes of 40. Oh well. Super value, as are all the ERdMs I have enjoyed.
