Excalibur by HDM Banquets

If you are a mild cigar smoker & are looking for a step up in flavor, you could do worse than this cigar. I picked up a fiver of Banquet Tubos last year & decided to have one after my lunch today. A creamy medium bodied cigar with notes of leather & cedar. Not particularly complex, but enough flavor to hold your attention. The draw & burn are just fine.

I did not expect much of this cigar before I smoked it. But wow was I surprised! It started off leathery—a taste I hate, if I want to taste leather I will smoke my belt—but after only a few puffs it became creamy, tasting of peanuts with a sweat jasmine aroma. Very smooth with only mild pepper taste in places. Finish was a bit flat. Otherwise a very good cigar.
