"Very tasty for the price"
I picked up a box from April '06 and have let most of them age in my humidor. When I first purchased them in the fall of '07 I enjoyed a few then. Now in November of '07 I have a nice little treasure on my hands (especially since I live in the U.S.) For a small cigar it really packs a lot of flavor. Since I haven't had a lot of Cuban cigars in this size I can't compare it to anything else. It is very creamy, nutty, and a nice subtle natural sweetness. This is a nice morning or afternoon smoke, before your big meal for the day. I'm looking forward to seeing how these develop...

"smooth and mild"
Picked up a few of these in Beijing because they were "on sale" at La Casa Del Habano ($8 each - cigars are not cheap in China). My 2 friends and I agreed that they were great cigars. Sitting by the lake at Hou Hai, having a Tsing Tao and smoking a Fonseca Delicias was one of the highlights of our trip. Mild, smooth, creamy, nutty are all words we used to describe our experience. We had another the next night at Sanlitun and it was just as good as the first. Appearance was not the best, but out of the 6 cigars we had those 2 days, no one experienced any burn or unraveling issues. I see you can get these a lot cheaper at COH which makes them an incredible deal.

"one of the great breakfast smokes"
The size and body make this almost unbeatable as a morning smoke. Flavorful, but never disagreeable. And cheap! These ease me into the day while I clear the cobwebs and slog through those first cups of coffee. With some rest, these seem to have picked up a slightly fruity tang around halfway and a more pronounced caramel note on the finish.

"Cuban, Cheap & Good"
I find these to be a pretty good smoke. Construction & presentation is good, spicey flavors without being harsh, definitely on the milder side. Great with a cup of joe. Excellent everyday smoke & for only a little over $3 by the box, you just can't beat it. I'm guessing it's probably the cheapest real Cuban Petit Corona on the market. Great for give aways & my girlfriend likes them too, I aways keep a box in the Humi!

"Good Buy"
Some of these were underfilled, but they smoked fine anyway. A great budget Habano. Medium bodied with a little zing at the end. The Cadetes are more flavorful, but these are a dandy mid-day smoke.

"Wow... and for so little?"
Smoked an 03 delicia, and wow! Great smooth smoke, lastsed about 45 minutes. Nice and spicy, but not overwhelming. Gentle, great with a coffee and cream. Nice amount of nicotine, and gives a bit of a buzz. If you can find these with some age on, go for it!

"the pound-for-pound champion"
I've reviewed this one before, so this is pretty much just a follow-up comment to highlight the cigar's consistency. I've had several of these in the last few months and they’ve all been great. Based on that I believe this is the best every-day cigar on the market, (or off the market, depending on your location). The flavors are great, it's not too strong or too mild so it's perfect for any occasion, the construction is good, and it's cheap. For a just-anytime smoke, there's none better!

"a pound-for-pound contender"
Yes, it's cut-filled. And homely, with thick veins. Some may find them low-brow, but in the bang-4-buck department, this one's tough to beat. Despite the chop fill, they burn fine. Mild-medium bodied, toasty, creamy, builds to a richer-than-expected finish, never disagreeable. Perfect with morning joe. Among my new favorites, now that I've snagged a couple of boxes.

"nice priced Cuban"
Being in a place where I can't buy Cubans, having any cigar from Cuba can be a treat. I picked up a box of these and read mixed reviews. I've smoked two from the box so far and have enjoyed them. These are a great afternoon break cigar since they don't take long too smoke. I actually wished they lasted longer! 🙂

"Great short smoke!"
If you have easy access to Habanos, this would make an excellent everyday smoke. It has a good flavor, (spices and nuts), smokes well and doesn't break the bank at about five bucks a stick. It’s not going to win “outstanding cigar of the year” in any major publications, but all things considered, you really can’t go wrong with it.

"great...but too short!"
I bought a box of these at the Madrid Airport back in '97. I smoked them all summer long. I thought they were delicious, with a spicy, peppary taste which was not overpowering by any means. A great smoke with a creamy coffee drink, any time of the day. For about $1 a stick, by the box...these were one hell of a bargain. This was the first box of Cubans I had ever bought. Much better than the D.R. Fonsecas, which I don't care for. Only problem was they were too small and smoked too fast.

This is a pretty looking thing , I only wish it had a little more gusto. This smoke burned well but was going out near the end . It started out with a little orange peel flavor then in the middle it just went macanudo on me. Kinda like an air stick.

"Not bad for the money"
You get what you pay for most of the time. And that is true of this cigar. For very litle money you can have a decent Cuban cigar. Not a Cohiba by any means, but one quarter the price per box. Good for an inexpensive everyday smoke. Small, so they're good for a lunch break or quickie smoke.

"Disappointing..."
In my search for an everyday Cuban cigar, I bought a box of these little devils. Well constructed with a great cap, these cigars have a smooth draw and an even burn. Tons of smoke that has a good aroma. Alas, the flavor is sub-standard. The flavor is harsh and metallic. I still have 1/2 a box left, so if they improve, I will update this review. If you don't see an update, they still stink!

"hit or miss"
I bought a box based on reviews here. I've smoked 4 or 5 now. Most were plugged, although they improved after ramming a paperclip down it a few times, it kinda ruins the mood to have to do that. I riuned one when the clip pierced the sides a few times (it was dark!). Then I had one which totally blew me away-good draw, nice flavor, almost tasted like a boli pc. I won't being buying any more-rather pay more for a sure smoke.

"Ugly but good"
This petit corona came sheathed in coarse tissue paper bound by a regal gold and red band. The covering slid right off revealing a pretty, dark brown, chocolaty wrapper that felt like velvet. The wrapper had a slight oblong hole in it just past halfway, and was ragged at the foot. There was a noticeable square press, and the cap was interesting; it was rough and flopped over the head.

The Zino took the cap off clean and there was a nice sweet yet earthy pre light taste – signature to the Habano tobacco and a good medium draw. Upon lighting a burst of bakers chocolate leaped out and then quickly settled into a good light bodied and mild flavor. The smoke came slowly, sometimes requiring two or three puffs to come out. The ash was dark gray with a tight pattern and tapped off cleanly every inch or so. A slightly ragged burn was never distracting, but the squeezably soft cigar was too springy after lighting and a pronounced flat spot appeared near the foot.

Enjoyed outside on a crisp fall day the Fonseca had a nice clean finish that stayed smooth and fresh until the halfway point where a slight sourness developed. That soon burned off, however, and the the final half of the cigar yielded a building flavor gaining in strength until the final inch which was solid yummy Habanos. The aroma was light and sweet and carried well on the autumn breeze.

Overall this was a nice cigar for early in the day. The light body and decent flavor were lovely and not overpowering. Except for the construction issues – the hole in the wrapper, softness, ugly cap, and a lot of scraps to spit – this was a very nice cigar. Recommended.

"A welcome surprise"
I wasn't expecting much from these "cheapies" but they surpassed all of my expectations hands down. Solid construction and burn followed by a medium-full bodied taste with a rich and nutty complexity that is especially nice with a glass of Blanton's Bourbon. Just awesome for the money, this little fella' just can't be beat for the low price. Having smoked a box already they have become a staple in my humidor.

"surprise!"
i picked this up just to make me feel better about buying a lot more expensive cubans. to my surprise, it was better than the 3yr old Epi 2 and RyJ ex 4s i had. didn't really keep notes, but this sucker was very tasty, changing flavors a few times. the last 3rd was worth the wait. when a PSD4 costs $10 and this one costs 4.50, i'd say it's a bargain (but nowhere near as good as the PSD4, is anything though).
