"Short but good"
One of my favorite Cigars. I have a box dated from Apr 07. The favor of the cigar is soft with a hint of spices, works well with coffee. The shortness of the cigar effects it's over all value slightly.

Great size and flavor. Have smoked several now that haven't been aged more than a couple months and they have been consistent and enjoyable. Flavors profile for me would be toast and butter. Nice with a coffee in the morning.

"Small cigar with great flavor"
This may be a small cigar, but it is packed full of flavor and smoke. Construction was spot on and the dark brown wrapper appeared perfect. Great draw and the burn was a little uneven, but it was a windy day here. Nice nutty and cream flavors, with a hint of spice. Great 20-30 min smoke.

"Great little smoke"
I picked up five of these with a box of Boli's and now I need a couple boxes! This is a stellar little smoke that is the perfect size for my 25-30 minute daily commute. A medium body with a nice creaminess to it. Construction wise 4 of the 5 were spot on with one notably smaller in diameter by a couple ring sizes. Beautiful thick caramel colored wrappers. Recommended and a great fat/short smoke.

"Beautiful Dud!"
I hate to write a bad review, but...this beautiful cigar just didn't draw. i recut it twice and pushed a golf tee through it in an effort to loosen up the tobacco. I was able to get a few tasty pulls out of it but lost my patience after about 10 minutes. I love Cuban Hoyos and will try this again but I've found with Cubans in general that about 1 in 10 still have draw issues.

"Excellent"
Congratulations to Habanos S.A.,for the size, being modern and practical. It was one of the most unexpected surprises this lovely small cigar. Aromatic and full flavoured with the right strength not too much and not too little. The construction was fine as well as the draw, only the burn was a bit uneven. This small cigar is going to become a legend after some proper aging.

"Great-Short Smoke"
I had my first one of these while sipping a cup a strong coffee at a Starbucks in Tokyo. It took about 45 minutes to smoke and had just the right amount of spice and roasted nut flavor, great balance. A great-short smoke that may be my "Go To" breakfast cigar from here on out.

This cigar was a little hard to get going , uneven light(used a bic not my usual colibri cigar lighter) draw was okay but the the taste was a little metallic. the aroma was good construction was excellent. good strength. with a little humidor time could be worthwhile, now its a little too green.

"Good things come in small packages"
This guy gets high marks in the flavor category. It is fairly complex starting off with a burst of cedar, earth & spice while mellowing out to a nutty & spicy middle. The crescendo of flavor at the end will give you burnt fingers. I've had several underfilled sticks causing the construction rating to be lower than what it should. Great right out of the post, even better after some rest. Worth every penny.

A wonderful cigar. It had a crisp (but not green) flavor of Habano tobacco with warm spices. It’s quite possibly the perfect thirty-minute smoke. I will definitely buy a lot more of these, even if they are slightly pricey at $8.00 per stick.

"A Great Quick Smoke"
When the weather is cold and you have to smoke outside this is one of my favorite short cigars. It is also a great smoke for that commute to/from work or a short relaxing drive. It is a great looking, well built with a flawless burn, awesome Hoyo flavor, and not too bad on the wallet. The right smoke when you don't have time for a normal robusto, torp, or Churchill.

Great spice off the bat; the wrapper lets out hints of some cocoa, but these are definitely a full cigar with significant spice. Nice leathery finish. Burn was not so good, though; uneven and streaky. Cap construction is awesome. Time should treat them good, though.

"Too Short! (Cigar club selection)"
This cigar should be four inches longer. The flavor was nice and spicey, but then it was gone. I smoked it as far down as I could go, but not wanting fried fingers I had to put it out. There is a very nice finish to remind me of the flavor. The construction was excellent, offering a smooth draw and an even burn. I didn't have to thump the ash until just before I put this stick out. Excellent experience, just not enough of it.

"A Phenom"
This little stub of a cigar puts much bigger fare to shame. It produces some of the richest, spiciest and most tangy flavors to be found. And yet with its strength and spice, there's smooth complex sweetness, earthiness and aromatic herbal qualities to keep things interesting. And the burn and draw have been consistently good over the many I've had so far. These don't need much humidor time to be enjoyed, but I suspect aging won't hurt 'em a bit.

"good"
Pretty good, just to short for my taste. I found it to be medium to full bodied, first inch started out with strong pepper and spice flavors with a leather underbrush. By the second inch the flavor mellowed out with some coffee and creme notes. Then it felt like I was down to the nub fairly quickly. Still many complex flavors in this one, just a little short for my tastes.

"great new format"
I have been interested in trying these since they came out in 04. Got my first box NOV 05, and have smoked a few. Although box is young the cigars are already amazing. Rich and balanced much better than Epicure 2. Very smooth, with cedar, nut and tea flavors plus a little pepper toward the end. Perfect draw, slow burn, never got hot despite being short. Will be buying these again.

"Nice... but not that nice"
This cigar looks absolutly great, it's short and fat just the way I like em. It had tastes of bitter dark chocolate and some licorice too. At first I was about to throw it out because it had a poor draw but then when it died and I lit it up again it was pretty decent. I can understand why it has been highly rated but since cigars are personal I have to say that this wasn't my cup of tea. It was rugged and too strong for my taste, I like strong smokes but this was a bit off to me. I'd recommend everybody to try it but don't do like I did and buy a whole box before you've even tried one. That's a mistake I will never do again. Hopefully they will become better and mellow out as they get to rest in the humidor.

it is a good looking small robusto. Full of flavors. You can distinguise the diference between the first , second ,and third part. the last part is so flavorous that gives you a sensation of full and satisfing. Be aware, you will burn your fingers, you will smoke it till the end.

"Very good but a bit inconsistent"
The light was toasty, nutty and medium...with a bit of spiciness thrown in after the first half inch. Around halfway there were a few spots of very funky flavors (lasting about 1 puff each), but then it turned medium and smooth with coffee and some char until the 1 inch mark...at which point my fingers hurt too much to keep smoking it. Quality flavors, merely decent construction.

"Kick ass!"
Short, but definitely not sweet. A cornucopia of flavor stuffed into a short, fat package. Great Island spice and barnyard undertow with waves of leather and rustic smoke lapping at the shore of this deep and mysterious sea of flavor. Great young cigar with the promise of improvement. I just wish it was a tiny bit stronger, I'm not sure it will age with the big boys.

"Good now and lots of potential"
Looks to be about the size of a roll of quarters. Nice tan wrapper with small veins. Firm feel with some sponginess. Smooth and easy draw with lots of smoke. Taste is great from the get-go ... cedary tobacco with a spicy edge. The second half brings out some cocoa flavors that intensify to the end. Overall a medium strength cigar. There are some burn problems but I think these will improve with age ... my samples are only a month old.

"Yowza"
I had to see what the fuss about this little guy was about. Beautuful sawed off robusto, for those moments you don't have time for a larger cigar. I like small smokes, I smoke a lot of Party Shorts, this one looked like a magnum guage PC. Beautifully rolled, wrappers have a few small spots. I snipped the cap and sat down to enjoy. Smoke was full of flavor from the get go, ash was dark, held on very well. Flavor developed somewhat as it burned, draw was perfect, some unevenness to the burn was to be expected as it wasn't in a humidor more than a few hours. A great small smoke.

"Hooray for the little guy!"
I love my big sticks, but this little guy really scratches me where I itch! I'm a firm believer in "a cigar for every occaision". Not always having time for a big smoke, I've experimented with petit coronas like the Siglo-I or Trinidad reyes but they left me a bit flat. If you enjoy a larger ring, this little brother of the HDM-Epi.No.2 gives up nothing in performance. I did'nt miss the extra length. It started light but with a thick rich plume of smoke. It had amazing variation in flavour for 4 inches. Started with hints of cedar and turned to a more toasted finish. Never overly strong and burned well. I gave it a few good pulls and it never turned bitter. A well behaved puro. The subtle flavours lingered for hours...but they are subtle. I would say mild-medium. A good all-purpose cigar if you don't have a lot of time and won't sacrifice quality and taste for it. Highly recomended for a weekday smoke after dinner!
