"Insipid"
The cigar looked great, burned great, my father in-law gifted me this stick. So the value was good but.. no flavour, none what so ever i mean nothing (for me at least) i drank it with balck coffee, no flavour, so i rinsed my mouth out with lots of water to hope to be able to pick something any bit of flavour, nothing. The cigar was very disappointing. I would never buy any smoke for this brand

"wonderful smoke"
If you think this cigar is bad, then you're cutting wrong, lighting wrong, or have it mixed up with something else, this cigar is great. These La Glorias are consistent to, I've had 6 so far and they are all the same, excellent construction, wonderful burn, plenty of flavor with hints of cream and coffee, will buy many more

"Top 5 values"
I rated this cigar in the top 5 cigars (for value) a few years back. The thick ring provides an awesome and smooth drag, despite the medium to full bodied smoke. For 15 bucks a 5 pack, this is a MUST.

"follow up after six months"
OK I let them sit as some friends suggested. I want these to be good, they look good, and I had 7 of them left. They did improve but not much. the best I can say is I could finish smoking one. But still these aren't very good. One note of improvement seemed to be the construction. The burn was much improved. An improvement doesn't imply an endorsement. Sorry. I will keep three and try them again next spring.

"Stink, Stank, Stunk"
I like some of the LGC line and heard this was a good one. My usual cigar is JDN Antano so I like full bodies smokes. This piece of crap was soooooo bad I couldn't even finish it. It has the distinction of being the only cigar I haven'y been able to finish. Terrible construction, awful draw and a bitter taste. OK maybe one bad one right! Wrong it went 5 for 5 with little if any improvement. If this were the only LGC I had ever tried I would never have tried another one. If you get one of these for free do yourself a favor and quit smoking.

"Decent Smoke"
Bought this a the Maduro in a 3 pack tester. Quite pleasing with lots of smoke. The main draw back I had was the fix about 1/2 way that refused to stay fixed. Otherwise this is a cigar I will try again

"take me home..."
When I go to my cigar store- I always feel compelled to try new things. Mostly I'm blah about new things - I feel I tend to gravite to the standbys that always seem to be a cut above the rest without the hype. These are such sticks. The very essence of "medium bodied" smokes. Flavorfull- tobacco, leather without high priced pretensions. I love the stick. Solid go-to cigar

"Good Smoke - Great Taste"
This is the second LGC that I have tried. I must admit this one was much better than the first which I thought was too strong. This had a very good taste and the smoke was awesome.

"Awesome Smoke"
This is almost as good as the torpedo. Medium-bodied with great flavor. The torpedo was just a bit more sweeter.

"G L O R I A...La Gloria"
I am admittedly not a huge fan of LGC. I know some guys worship everything they do...I have only had a few of their smokes and this is why. This was average. Nice construction...tasty wrapper...a very attractive cigar. The sparking was when it went downhill...it had a strange, skanky aftertaste. I was drinking some vintage 30 year old bourbon with this smoke...and I wanted to like it, however, it fell short of my expectations. Fairly tight draw, medium spiced flavor profile dominated by cream, nuts and grassy tones. Again, the skanky finish ruined it for me...

"La Gloria Cuban"
I found this cigar to have a taste that I enjoyed very much. However, the cigar simply didn't burn right. Draw suffered slightly when the cigar stopped burning evenly. I'll give another one a try sometime soon.

"good smoke"
Nice smoke, started out mild and picked up in flavor about halfway through. The burn was consistent and so was the draw, I have a few more and will give them time and see if it improves with a little age, but overall I enjoyed this smoke very much.

"good enough for me"
I had a bunch of these on hand and could not keep reaching for them. I do prefer fuller bodied cigars but I'll grab one of these before I grab a series R. It's not always about strength...... sometimes.

"Solid smoke"
I got a box of these for sharing during the holidays and recently finished off the leftovers. It's a nice straight-forward smoke filled with pepper, paper, and sweet wood flavors; they had a youthful taste fresh out of the box which improved somewhat with some humidor time, although they probably could have used a few extra months. Regardless, it's a good-looking, thickish cigar that smokes well with a good draw and burn. I'd prefer to smoke the Serie R's, but these aren't bad.

"Not Bad"
This is a relatively medium-bodied cigar that has a very peppery, almost Halopeno, character with the initial light-up that mellows out very quickly to a floral foundation laced with cream, leather, coffee, earth and spice. It has a very loose draw with mouthfuls of smoke and hints of orange peel. The finish was relatively short and clean with hints of cream, leather and earth. It's a nice mellow smoke leaving a bit of a zing and an intoxicating after effect. I prefer something with a firmer draw and a little more depth and body, but this wasn't bad.

"Big"
This stick was well constructed and burned evenly throughout. Although the flavor was also consistent, it was consistently average. I'll try another and hope for better results based upon past experiences with this brand.

"Surely a good day to day smoke"
Given the price, I really think the regular LGC's are hard to beat. The flavor is pretty mild, with a nice toasty/nutty overall taste. Great bargain for a good cigar that lasts me about a half hour. Also, have never had one with an uneven burn.

"Toothy"
This stick was toothy with lots of smoke. The notes were of wood and had a nutty highlight. Not a bad smoke.

"Going downhill"
Smoked a box of these since fathers day. It is an Ok smoke. But not as good as pre- general La Gloria's. Hopfully general will maintain the normally high standards of the old La Gloria days.

"Terrible"
I like strong, full bodied cigars when I'm sitting on the porch at the end of the day, and I love Nicaraugan tobacco. But I hated this cigar. I've given La Gloria several tries in several sizes, but it's always the same. Harsh, bitter, odd tastes that I can't identify. . .there are few cigars that I can think of that I dislike more. If you want something strong and full bodied, stick with something like Padron or CAO.

"Try it, you'll like it"
I received a box last Xmas, and it has been my staple smoke ever since. Burn uneven at times, but improves with aging in humidor. Great smoke for the money!

"Good Smoke"
I was given a box by a friend. Excellent flavor to the band. Great aroma and even burn. A couple unraveled on me so I have to question the quality control. I bought another box from a different vendor just to be sure. You won't be dissapointed in this less than $3 cigar.

"whatwrapper?"
Hey, this is a very tasty cigar, it ranks high on the taste "O" meter, yep, tastes great, but, it was slowly crumbling as I puffed it and that really can be distracting. The thing was unraveling in the middle before I lit it. Now if a cigar were a stripper and I wanted to peek at it's binder, possibly see and swallow some filler this would be a turn on. In my humidor for a good while, I will try a different shop and see if a better taken care of one is out there. I can taste the potential.

"Try one !"
LGCs are my all-time favorite. Very peppery wrapper, even before its lit. Chewy full-bodied smoke, with nice 'low tones'. Serie R burns more evenly, but not much better flavor. Good all the way down to the band, with nice flinty aftertaste. Recommended to anyone wanting something stronger.

Plume, lots of it, covering a lightly scented, but mature dark wrapper making it look like milk chocolate that Mr. Nestle would admire. The draw is easy, much like my beloved Evelio Maduro Robusto Largas. The bunching is circular, like a bullseye with a rippled center. The cigar is pressed top and bottom like a 8-9-8 round-sided box giving it a pleasnt shape for the mouth and hand. This with its firmness and leathery wrapper makes it a joy to handle. The toothy and finely veined wrap is quite shiney when you look past the bloom. The taste is mature with not coffee but roasted grainland a peppery taste I love. The ash is black and light grey, marbled, with no shading between. The ash breaks concentrically as well as longitudinally. It lives about an inch. Nice construction. Pretty even burn. My, I like the pepper! Later on, a woodiness comes through, not Balsa*, my dear CA friends, but Mahogany - probably from the mature veins. It makes a dark chocolate taste, which is quite enjoyable. Look close after a draw and you can watch the veins spark. On the to-be-bought list.
