"still top shelf"
Unchanged after eight months, which makes sense since I've left them in the original cello. A little aggressive, though not particularly complex on the first third. But the second half gets consistently richer, sweeter, and earthier. The only knock is that these are occasionally plagued by a firm draw. Otherwise, a downright excellent smoke at any price.

"among my new favorites"
Not my size of choice, but these coronas appear to be the last LTC Annies available anywhere in any size. And since I burned through my stash of robustos in a hurry, a box of these became a no-brainer. Begins with a peppery jolt. Stronger than the robusto (which is a powerful smoke, mind you) but not as complex at first. The spice never takes a backseat, though it is offset slightly by a honey-like sweetness that creeps in after the first inch. A touch of earth and black coffee come in on the final third. Keep a drink handy for this one. Another superb smoke from Luis Sanchez. I've now tried four of the brands in his portfolio -- the regular LTC, the Ann'y, Sabor Cubano and the FP H98 -- and while they differ dramatically from each other, I've been knocked out by all.
