"Sunshine"
What a beautiful stick to start out the morning with. This cigar is not only gorgeous, but the flavours are outstanding. I believe with several months of aging in the humidor, this cigar will continue to get better. The draw is perfect and such a joy to smoke!

"Another under the radar cigar from Luis!"
Do you like a Connecticut cigar that goes well with coffee or would like a nice one early in the afternoon? This is a great cigar and they are extremely consistent from stick to stick. This size is a bit more full body that the "almighty" Churchill. Construction is impeccable! There is a slightly woody taste with a vanilla sweetness and a toasty flavor at the core. The last 3 inches has a bit of pepper and some spice that comes thru. I would say it is medium in body - maybe medium to full. Like the Churchill, everything is in perfect balance and the burn is spot on. There is no need to age as they are good right out of the box. What more could ya ask for?

"eye candy"
Anyone in the market for a morning smoke would do well to grab a box of these. Beautiful, virtually veinless wrapper. If you have a glass top humidor, you'll want to put these on top. Effortless draw. Wood, mild spice and a just a hint of nut and vanilla cream. This blend doesn't reinvent the EC-CTS wheel, as does the 601 Black Label, but it's among the better renditions of a classic.

"another LTC gem"
On a definite LTC kick since nabbing a 5-pack each of their three available blends. Hard to imagine improving this torp's flawless, golden shade wrapper or the effortless draw. The ash hung on til the halfway mark before I shook it llose to avoid wearing it. Again, perfect. As is usually the case with shade-wrapped smokes, however, I found the flavor to be too mild for my tastes. There was none of the papery or grassy flavors that too often mar a shade smoke, though. This is a reasonably priced, impeccably crafted morning smoke, or a go-to for those who prefer things on the mild side.

"Getting better all the time"
After a couple of months hiatus, I have lighted again one of Luis's little torpedos. I had maybe smoked too many of them during summer, and I was a bit tired of the flavours. Yesterday, however, I found again a great pleasure in smoking an LTC products. This powerful medium sized stick (it's not that small...) is beautifully made, looks gorgeous and has a lot of flavours, toasted nuts, cocoa, with a curious (but not unpleasant) saffron aftertaste. It is so different from a cuban cigar, but different does not mean at all worse! It has been aging 4 mths and a half in the humidor, and I have to say the older it gets, the better it becomes. Exceptional value too.

"Petit size, grand cigar"
To get a box directly from the USA into Europe by mail is impossible..so, thanks to Luis' friendly advice, I asked a colleague who was coming to Italy to bring me a box of the Petits. Well, it was worth the mess! The petit torpedo is just as good as the grand, and possibly even better. Flavors are just like, which is more than complimentary, and the shortest format makes it an easy smoke. Of course, if you like them strong....I already smoked three, and apart a little draw problem on #2, they were very consistent and overall excellent.
