Macanudo 1968 Toro

This cigar was terrible. It had a weird coffee and wood taste. I will not be buying another one. 🙁

After all the hype about this new cigar, it was very disappointing smoking it. I've smoked a few all with similar results. The draw is tight and the bun uneven. Flavors are on the woody side, but the cigar never develops into any kind of complexity. I paid $3 per stick through a special and that may be the right price for this cigar.

From a visual impression, it looks great, feels nice and have a great looking band, but looks are deceiving.

IT IS AMAZING THAT GENERAL CIGAR HAS PUT OUT THOSE DISH RAGS THEY CALL CIGARS FOR ALL THOSE YEARS AND MADE SO MUCH MONEY DOING SO. THIS IS SO FAR AND AWAY FROM THE USUAL MAC LINE. FULL FLAVORED, WOODSY, AROMATIC, HINTS OF NUTS ON THE FINISH. FINALLY A MAC WITH SOME BALLS. NOT RELEASED TO THE MAINSTEAMS ONLY TO MOM AND POPS, SO START LOOKING FOR A SHOP NEAR YOU. PRICEY BUT WELL WORTH IT. PRICE IS FOR 3 PACK SAMPLER.
