"ummm..."
This cigar burned great, no problems there. The strength was very mild, and the flavor.......... where was it. I am a full flavored person, but i do enjoy the mild morning cigar. The Perdomo Champaign is better my a land slide. I have smoked many mild cigars of late and this is one of the worst. If you like smoking tobacco with no flavor, this is for you. Other then that, don't try.

"Mild.."
I had a couple of these the last two days. Good burn.nice draw and subtle flavour. The construction was ok. Too mild for me but may appeal to beginners, occasional smokers or maybe with a cup of coffee..

"Well made 1/2 hour smoke"
I usually take these small ones with me when I go fishing, and they stay perfectly lit and smoke like chimneys. Same trademark mildness, great cigar.

"Hampton Court A pleasant Smoke"
I find the Hampton Court my second choice
to the Portofino cigar. Hampton Court is a
well made, mild, easy to draw cigar.

"smoooooooth"

"so so"
Smoked one of these last night with a cold New Glarus Copper Kettle Weiss (great beer). I was not overly impressed with this cigar, I thought that the Macanudo Crystal was a much better cigar. The draw was nice, not too tight but not too loose, so I got plenty of smoke. The burn was very even, though the wrapper came apart a little. A very mellow taste, some wood and cream in the first half, some spice in the last half. Overall, a mellow cigar that didn't leave much of an impression.

"Blah"
Smoked this last week. I guess I have put off smoking my Macanudos, because I really do not like them.

"Underwhelming"
My fi-fi bought this cigar for me last night at Sullivan's Steak House. The appearance was okay, but the many soft spots throughout the middle of the cigar gave me cause of concern. Overall, this was an easy going, mild non-descript cigar that gave me nothing to remember. Kind of like that friend that goes out to the bars with you but never says anything...

"slightly spicy"
This little guy was just what was needed. With a nice wrapper and lovely construction. The foot lit even and burned with a white ash. The taste was mild to medium with some notes of spice every now and then and a good finish of creamy wood.

"Well now I'm just angry"
I've had to Macs in a row now, the first being a Maduro diplomat. It was highly disappointing, but this one just ticked me off. Construction was the killer here. There were THREE tough, dry stems right at the end, which ruined cutting. The draw was ridiculously bad. I had to throw the last third of it out. There wasn't anything wrong with the flavor, but it sure wasn't worth this tiresome smoke. I think I'm done with this line for a long time.

"As mild as they come"
One of my first cigars and still have a few aging over the years. They don't get any milder, decent construction, nice cool burn and draw. A bit pricey but perfect for the beginner

"Tasted better way back when"
Still has some centemental value as the first real premium I smoked many yrs ago. Cigar was well made and smoked mild with a hint of spice throughout. Nothing special anymore.

"eh, not that impressive"
i dont know what these other reviewers are talking about, this cigar is definintly not a good cigar. The appearence is pretty bad with huge veins popping out and little hard spots all over it. The taste was average for the price, but definintly not a steal. I bought a box of 10 of these and have let them sit in the humidor for about 4 weeks and they have not improved one bit. The burn becomes uneven and often times the wrapper comes loose. Overall, dont buy this cigar unless its a gift for some fool who does not know anything about cigars

"ehh"
Since I never had a Macanudo, I thought I'd give one a shot. The flavor had subtle spices and a mild, smooth quality. Burn and draw were fine. Not a bad cigar really, better than I expected, but still not special. The cruise ship price hurt ... $8.50.

"Nice"
I may have underevaluated Macanudos. After two years in my humidor out of the tube, this was a pleasent smoke. Mild, no punch or kick though, smooth, mellow and nice aroma. High quality.

"Macanudo Hampton Court"
A very mild cigar. Upon opening tubo, found that the wrapper had begun to separate slightly. Smooth to the end. If you like mild cigars this is a good one. Would buy again.

"Good tubo"
Bought this one on a whim, I was out with the boys like a stunad I forgot to bring some cigars. So I ran in a convenience store and this is all they had. I was surprised, this was a good little cigar. A nice looking small ring gauge cigar, as usual with Macanudos’ it was beautiful. A Connecticut shade wrapper with a perfect roll and a good cap on it. I had half a load on so I tore through this cigar pretty quick. I maybe last me all of 45 minutes. This one had an easy draw, and burned well throughout most of the cigar. When I got towards the end it started to burn up one side, but it was probably from me beating this thing up. This whole line of cigars is very light bodied, and has very subtle flavors. All around a good cigar, but I did have to pay though the nose for it. This guy charged me $8.00 for the Hampton Court, these things usually retail for around $5.50. BOTTOM LINE: Good light cigar, a little small for my tastes, pricey, smooth and creamy, not much of a finish.
