"Mild, not Wild"
A very good looking, good burning, good drawing cigar. Plenty of smoke. Easy to light. The only shortcoming is the missing flavor. The little bit that was there was good. I bought two of these, and I'll probably save the second to give to someone just starting out on cigars.

"others are better"
smoking this makes me want to pick up a perdomo champagne or casa torano. nicely made with a beautifully caramel appearance, but the taste leaves more to be desired. ash was beautiful by the way.

"Great looking cigar.....thats it!!!"
The cigar is beautiful its wrapper was a flawless leaf with nice solid construction a perfect ring size and length. the scent of the cigar was almost nonexistent. upon lighting the cigar it burned very even with the dull grey ash holding on for about 2 1/2 inches also the bands would not release from the cigar with smoking and because the wrapper was so delicate it was a chore to remove the two bands without damaging the wrapper. the aroma of the smoke was not pleasing to the others around me, it was very non aromatic . the smoke was very mild and really had no highlights but mildness. a very mild cigar too mild for me but one suprising thing the after taste was very stong for a cigar that mild. A first tier smoke for those who like a really mild cigar but not for those looking for a complex smoke.

"Not impressed"
Average is the best way to describe this mild smoke. Seemed a bit "spicy" at times.

"Macanudo Gold Label"
The pre-light on this stick is magnificent, awesome construction and agreat look to the light colored wrapper. Not as aromatic as i usually buy but still a great look and smell to this cigar. This one was fresh out of the box when i smoked it. Very easy light and stayed lit, Smooth with some earthiness and leather towards the end. Draw was good and the amount of smoke was decent, good smoke for smoke rings. Burn wouldnt stay straight and i gave up on it after the first 1/3 but it wasnt a horribly bad burn so i still smoked it without a problem. The ash was strong and would not come off until it was good and ready. Overall a nice smooth smoke, not to intense or complex. I Liked it but not a turn on for a second buy because of the value.

"Nice looking, shame about the taste"
A very pretty cigar. I fought with burn problems all the way down, couldn't get the thing to burnb straight no matter how I played with it. Taste was smooth and mild, way too mild for my liking, draw was great, nice aftertaste.

"Great mild smoke"
I find this to be a really good mild smoke. I thought it had a nice flavor, however some do not seem to agree. I enjoy them as frequently as I can, and will always look for the Mac gold labels.

"Gold 54"
This stick has a very nice construction and appearance. The foot lit well and held its ash very well also. The notes were mild yet rich with wood and earth. I must say the 54 ring size gave this stick a good draw all in all a gold 54 is a must to try.

"average"
Nothing special here. Taste is bland and aftertaste is a little funky. I'm not a big Macanudo fan. Cigar looks good however.

"Looks better than it tastes"
Very well constructed with an easy draw and even burn with a beautiful golden wrapper but the flavor is pretty bland. Disappointing.

"Basic Cigar"
This cigar my friend got from someone for a little gift on his birthday. We smoked it and it was nothing special. It was basically a plain cigar. No special flavor. It did have a nice apperance and a decent draw.

"Not much different."
This stick tastes about the same as a regular Mac. The only difference is that they are a little sweeter and have a sharp lemony aftertaste. This thing won't blow your doors off but it's nice and mild, perfect for the morning.

"just a cigar"
This was just a cigar. That's it...nothing special. Same old Macanudo from beginning to end. If you like em mild damn near bland, and no kick, then this is for you.

"Golden?"
First off the wrapper is not anything like advertised. Doesn't look anymore gold than a regular macanudo. The old Por Larranagas were more yellow than this cigar. Started off with the distinctive mac flavor, which is bad. As the smoke went on though the flavor improved with a hint of sweetness. Very mild but pleasant.
