Nice easy draw on this daddy-long pipe with that signature aroma. Medium bodied flavors of sweet spice and light coffee with a sweet spicy finish. A good special occasion cigar for that 2 hour smoke.

"Great"
This is one of the best cigars I smoked. I liked the size, it provided 2+ hours of enjoyment. Good drawl and good burn. Similiar taste experience to everyone else, chocolate, nutty and spices. Highly recommend.

Looked beautiful, but couldn't draw anything from it. A lot of money to pay for the opportunity to turn your temples red.

"a classic"
montecristo has returned to greatness with these. a mild start, great burn and draw, all the smoke you could want. the flavor increases as you work down giving you the great spiciness which i realy enjoy. the only draw back with this cigar is that it is huge, it still makes me self conscious when i light up and puff on one of these behemoths. you also have to allocate 90 min to smoking it.

"Nice"
Pretty cigar, burn was excellent, draw was tight but OK. The tastes were really excellent in this cigar, butby halfway the taste changed and wasn't quite as spicy and interesting. All in all an excellent cigar.

"A slice of heaven"
Beautiful looking cigar which although measuring 9 inches in length it is not very imposing probably because it has a relatively narrow ring gauge (47). The wrapper, draw & burn were perfect throughout the entire 100 minute smoke which surprised me somewhat because of Cuban cigars' inconsistent quality and also because it had been sitting in my humidor for approximately 6 months. The flavor was a mix of nuts, chocolate & spices. This cigar was purchased in Spain this past summer. The 1 1/2 hour I spent smoking it was unquestionnably the highlight of my Thanksgiving day spent with family & friends.

"Wonderful smoke, if you have time..."
Way too big for a smoke unless you have nothing to do for a couple of hours. A great flavor, probably my favorite of the Montecristo line. I've found that these are usually the most expensive running-line cigar available.

"Dissapointing"
This was a 9 year old "A" that had been hanging around my humidor for some time. I took it out with great excitement, but was very dissapointed once lit. The cigar went out quite a bit and had a weak yet disturbing flavor. Iv'e seen this before in "A's". It really seems to be hit or miss.

"Before they fixed it."
The wrapper has a silky feel. A bit of plume on the outside. Such a hard draw I can't get much of a feel here. Gave me a headache. I think they had fixed this problem in the next release. Surprisingly mild w/some cedary notes & a resinous quality. Probably because of the overpuffing.

"Big Daddy"
This is an ultimate celebration cigar. The A is well known to be exactly what it is... a big Monte. If you’re looking for an everyday cigar, this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for something for a special occasion, or perhaps just a lazy day with a lot of time on your hands, this is a good choice.
This sucker has an impressive look, good construction for such a giant, lots of smoke.
Not the best Monte, especially compared with MC DC, but has a very special taste and flavor with very long finish. Cuba Rules in the cigar world!

"Forever and a day..."
This may be a fantastic cigar, but due to its length, you need to make sure you have the time to enjoy it. I wasn't able to make it through the whole cigar, but the first half was adventurous, and surely reeked of their Cuban heritage.

"Monte A"
Wonderful looking cigar really impressed that it had a wrapper that flawless for a cigar that big. Traditional looking monte wrapper, kinda chocolately brown with some oils. Smelled great even in the box, lots of cedar and pepper notes. Draw a little on the tight side but the flavor was great, little the monte 2 a spicy jello pudding. Only prob was it was sooo long that is was a job smoking it and the price was too high to waste it.
