"montecristo 2005 le"
Just smoked this weekend. Was in my humidor 2+ years. Very, very nice cigar with the usual creamy taste of many better cubans. Maintained taste till smoked to 2 inches from the end.

"Way too tight"
A friend & I split a box (5 each). Presentation was wonderful, but thats where it ended for me.
His first one smoked wonderful & he was raving about it. My first 2 were rolled so tight I could barely get any smoke at all (were talking 0 here), I puffed so hard I almost blew a lung. I tried everything I could but ended up pitching them both.
Now I konw this can happen with longer hand rolled cigars, but having this happen with a more expensive one really put me off.
I have high hopes for the last 3, but I'm going to wait a while till my lungs recover.

"Tremendous"
Just received a box. Looks dark and rough. Roll is tight. Full flavored and loads of chocolate and coffee. Draw is a little tight. Too bad, this could be a stellar smoke.

"Outstanding Cigar"
Yeah! It looks a bit rough, but how does one define "rough?" I liked the dark, veiny, not-shiny appearance. Obviously, care in manufacture yielded a firm and classic cigar. Unlit aroma wonderful. Unlike most MCs, this one tastes superb from the first draw. Rich toasted cocoa and coffee made a great smoke until about the last one-inch. Unlike most Cubans, this cigar was not a "roacher." However, the first part of the cigar more than compensated for the last. Highly recommended!

"Awesome"
I can't believe this cigar is from 2005, the taste and complexity are incredible for such a young cigar. The best Monte I've ever had, with flavors that range from smooth to spicy, a perfect draw and burn, just a great experience. Need to put some away to age, this is going to be a great one.

"Excellent!"
This cigar is destined to be a classic. Smooth and rich with choco flavors. These are reminiscent of the Monte Robusto's from '01. In 3 years these cigars will be unbeatable.

"already a powerhouse"
Just got two boxes of ten each of this very strong and very flavorable stick. Though young (June 05) it is already a powerhouse offering strong flavors of dark coffee, dark chocolate with a long, long finish. Dark and ugly to look at it offers an excellent draw that burns superb
