"From A to G"
Surprisingly mild and smooth. A 2.5 hour smoke that burned and drew well. Every puff was consistently and perfectly blended. If I was a woman being pleasured by this, this certainly hit the G-spot.

It's going to take a while to finish this one, and you WILL sweat. Too strong for most, this one will set you on your ass.

"Long John Silver!"
Wow this baby lasted almost and entire college football game. If you have a lot of time on your hands with 3 healthy lungs, this baby is for you! It started off spicey but woke up an inch and half later. It got milder and taster the next 7 inches. A good cigar once every 10 years. The wooden case it sleeps in was beautiful!

"Epic smoke..."
Like it or not, the Fuente Fuente OpusX line of cigars is one of the most sought after in the USA. The Dominican puro has had endless coverage since its introduction in the mid 1990's; some of it bad and some of it good. Some people think this cigar is overrated. I do not. The PerfecXion A is the largest size in the lineup, a monster smoke that took me no less than 2.5 hours to complete. The burn and ash were perfect; not flaky in the least (which can be a problem in the OpusX cigars). Flavor was out of this world. Perhaps the most complex of all the cigars I've ever smoked with a beautiful aroma that simply must be experienced. There is a fruity spiciness to it and has medium-full stength. By the end, you can have a serious buzz if not from the blend, just from the sheer length of the beast. It is important to note that the larger sizes in the OpusX series are the milder cigars, the Double Corona and this A for example. Whereas the smaller ones, Petit Lancero and #5, are extremely powerful; very in-your-face flavor and strength. It really comes down to which style you prefer. For me, the blend of the PerfecXion A suits me well. It is my favorite cigar to date that I reserve for special occasions. While the coffin case is nice for presentation, it really adds no value to the cigar smoking experience and prevents inspection of the stick before purchase. The price could perhaps be a few dollars less if the coffin were removed from the equation. Of course, most of the expense in this cigar comes from requiring such a large wrapper leaf. In my opinion, the OpusX As are wrapped with leaves with fewer veins than the rest of the line. I recommend this cigar for a special occasion due to its size and cost.

"Disappointed"
Let down for me. Taste was nowhere near what I have come to enjoy in other Opus gars. Just not much to my smoke with this guy for the price.

"not the best Opus X..."
Thiscigar was surprisingly mild. I enjoy Opus X cigars for their jalapeno flavor and that wonderful Opus X buzz. This was sadly lacking with the Opus X A I smoked. It was Jack Daniels cut with water. Jimi Hendrix played at 1/2 volume.

"Good Smoke"
Beautifully looking and well constructed cigar. Definitely full body smoke, with lots of powerful smoke. Starts with a little “twang”, but quickly disappears by the mid smoke, giving just a strong buzz and slight bitterness. I will take any Padron 1964 Anniversary over Opus X. Considering the price over $30 per stick (that’s what you have to pay, unless you are friends with an authorized tobacconist) it’s an overly overrated cigar. The fair value of this vitola should be somewhere around $12-$15, just because of the beautiful wrapper and good construction.

"GREAT Cigar"
Only tried one, but WHOA what a one. Deep full body smoke that was smooth and creamy. Complex flavors with a beautiful after taste. The appearance and construction speaks volumes for itself. Now I can understand why this cigar is so rare and expensive. WOW!!!

"A Special Occasion"
Only have had one, but it served for Cn. The first time I got to celebrate my twins coming home from the hospital I lit this fantastic all around cigar up. It probably was the environment that made it perfect, but I don't plan on buying another that may ruin my memories.
