This is one of the greatest smokes ever! This little guy packs a flavorful punch. The construction is excellent, the box press is beautiful, and the burn is even with a firm ash. These babies start out excellent and just get better.I have three boxes in m

"A favorite..."
The Anniversario Principe is one of my all time favorite small smokes. They seem to never dissapoint, and are great when you only have 30 minutes for a cigar.

One of the best non-isoms I've ever had the pleasure to smoke. Too bad they are so hard to get. Great construction, flavor, draw, etc, fabulous.

"Great little stick"
Don't let the small size fool you, this little guy holds a lot of flavor. I was quite pleased with this cigar: slow burn, lots of smoke, and tasty flavor. Required a couple of minor touch-ups, though.

"Absolutely fantastic!"
Time and time again, I can't get enough of the Principe. I can't decide if I like the Nats or the Maddies more, but these smokes are truly a treat. Very smooth and delicious to the nub. Consistently, far better than any other vitola out there. I was finally able to get a box of the Nats for my birthday, and found they were nearly perfect 3 months out the block. I am curious to see how they do with time, but I will find it hard for them to improve from this point on out.

"Prefer 26 Natties or 64 Maduros."
First off, let me say that the construction of this cigar was perfect. Perfect draw, perfect burn, wouldn't ash in the first 1/2 if you smacked it on a table. Flavor wise, I prefer the 1926s in the natural...the natural 64s don't have that same richness that the 64 maduros seem to have. Seemed relatively mild compared to what I have been smoking lately. Smooth, somewhat creamy, woody flavor that lacked real richness. Don't misunderstand me, a very good cigar, just not as flavorful as I hoped.

"obviously great"
Most people, except some from europe apparently, love these - so I wanted to profess my love as well through this review. I've had several different padrons in the past and liked them a lot, so I finally broke down (and broke my bank) and bought some '64s. These are one of the most hyped non-cuban cigars, and now I know why. Excellent in all catagories with that famous smooth padron draw. You can tell a lot of care went into these little guys, and if I rob a bank, I might be able to pick up some bigger sizes. I'm not a big fan of the 1964's ten dollar price tag or twenty for the 1926's, but if you enjoy cigars, you definately have to try this out at least once.

"A smooth and quick smoke"
I finally tried the Padron 1964 Anniversary after hearing all the rave about them. Since I didn't want to spend a ton I bought the petite corona. Well, I was extremely pleased with this cigar. The flavor was smooth throughout and the burn was even. I will definitely be trying more of these. I would recommend these to anybody

"One of the greats"
I just had my first one of these, but it will definitely not be my last: yet another in my steadily-growing list of great petit coronas. This is a beautiful, silky, coffee-brown cigar, with a sturdy box-pressed look. When I clipped the top, it gave off a great crispy snap. The initial flavor is quite peppery, but not spicy at all. Throughout, the smoke is thick and the flavor is a medium-bodied mix of cream, coffee, chocolate, leather and even some fruit. A really strong, snow-white ash completes the package. Overall, just a really well-balanced, delicious cigar.

"Great short smoke"
Very smooth flavorful. Creamy, coffee, light leather and spice. One of the best in terms of construction, with superb burn, tight ash, and clean cut from cap. Highly recommend this one.

"dont like them"
im from Europe,so ive been smoking nothing but cubans so far.finally in usa i have possibility to try all best non cuban cigars, opus anejo diamond padron etc(they are much cheaper in usa than europe and available to buy.got 5 sticks of each brand and thats my first review of this padron cigars.well i dont like them, there is some flavor in it but overall the taste is musty and very blunt,no power or spice whatsoever.i dont understand why people like these so much they definately overpriced and overhyped.i really cant like these even when i tried to convince myself that there is some flavors in them.those sticks dont do the trick for me and i will never go back to this brand again.10$ per stick?,sorry mr.Padron you must be kidding, this are 2$ cigars.like i said b4 if they ever lift embargo these will be laying around every store for 3$ per sticks and i doubt that there will be any takers.

One can I say but AWESOME. This smoke has it all, great box-pressed look, excellent even burn, smooth draw and TASTE. This packs a punch, not overwhelming, just great flavor from start to finish. A little pricey for the size, but you only live once Right? Worth every penny. Elysium

"Among the Best"
Although this little cigar is not cheap, it is worth every penny. At times it seemed buttery almost like sweet cream, at times. It had a good draw, medium to full body, with different hints of coffee and chocolate that brushed across the palette.

"great little smoke"
Just bought a box of these. I am hoping to let them age in my humi for a few months but it is hard to keep my hands off of them. A very nice 45 minute cigar. Tons of smoke and nice overall taste but lacking complexity. First 2/3 fantastic but last 1/3 a little harsh but I smoke them down to the nub anyway. Great in the morning with a cup of java or at lunch. I love the 64 series in any stick but these are top notch.

"Fanta stick!"
I could not believe that this tiny thing lasted me well over an hour. This one was aged 2 years b/f my brother gave it to me. Burn was a little uneven, but slow and cool. Ash was salt n' peppary like the other Anniversarios and held on for about 1.5". Not bad for a cigar only 4.5"! The draw was firm but smooth via bulls-eye punch. Beautiful milky, tan, oily wrapper. Flavor started off a little bitter, (may have been from match-light). Finish very Earthy and woody. At about 1/3 started getting floral notes and sweet cedary spice. Still am not tasting the chocolate some raters speak of, but perhaps a tinge of nutmeg. The only cigar this small that packed such a punch was the little Opus X. Only ashed 2x through entire smoke. The finish in the last 1/3 left a tingy numbness in my mouth. Definitely a top performer. Smoked this till I needed a roach-clip and was burning my fingers! Since I was given these, I will base value rating on MSRP.

"Walk softly and carry a little stick with BIG"
Flavor. Impressive in every category. Beautiful construction. Complex flavor profile. Balanced. Spicy...but not over the top. Very enjoyable...and worthy of the accolades.
I am suspicious of a reviewer who would rate this cigar a 3!!!!!! Are you kidding me? Even if you like a different character of cigar...how you could rate this quality of Cigar as an "In Law Gift" is beyond comprehension...sounds like someone has an axe to grind. Yet, the same reviewer gave the Cubans near perfect scores...I have Cuban Siglo 2s in my humi and these are better. Liberal media, I guess...but don't listen to the haters. Try one...you won't be disappointed.

"My long, unabashed love for these cigars!"
okay...I've been a collector and smoker of cigars for a long time, but for a while lately, it was mostly ISOMs, (what a tool) and not until the last 18 months have fallen in love with the '64 Series. (more so than Serie 1926 in more instances than you'd think) and had smoked through a chunk of the line, received this box last week...having never tried a Principe, either Maduro or Natural, and I am SO glad I chose the Natural, because this current batch is what only they could sort as a 'Natural" wrapper. It's darker than any Cuban E.L. wrapper of late, and you know how dark some of those can get, but this was very dark and supremely supple, and seemed veinless. I would compare it only to an Opus X Double Corona I smoked recently. Both that and this were so oily that these sort of small 'oil slicks' appeared off and on throughout the smoke. The taste of this cigar was incredible. I hate to use the same analogy as I did for another Padron I reviewed, but it was quite an experience to smoke the small cigar and know that it would still be a star if all it had was the incredible depth of it's tobacco flavors to compete with. The slight floral/cedar notes in the beginning, the spiciness that is just perfect and the superb wood notes throughout the second half worked in perfect harmony to still allow the tobacco to be up front. Please do yourself a favor and try to get gold of some of these brilliant cigars while they're still affordable...I have given out 2 other 10's the whole time I've been a member, and this will be my third (BTW as of right now, there is a large amount of inventory out there right now, and I must say that these recent and current Padron '26 and '64 have been superb, while Opus X gets harder to find, more expensive, while they make so many more cigars each year then these guys...I believe that the cigar I just smoked will be labled as a 'classic' in the future.)

"Big taste in a small package"
A small, nicely pressed cigar with a smooth, chocolate-brown wrapper. It has a slightly uneven burn but an excellent draw that produces lots of aromatic, cedary smoke. From the first puff, you're treated to rich, smooth, and balanced flavors of dark chocolate and coffee with some earth and wood notes. A creaminess compliments these flavors half-way through. The finish is likewise creamy with a hint of spice, but is a bit short compared to the bigger sizes in this line. Also, due to the small size it burns a little hot at the end (you WILL be smoking this down to the nub), but the flavor is so good you probably won't mind. While relatively expensive, I still consider this cigar to be good value--it's the least expensive in the line and still offers the robust flavor that the Padron Anniversaries are known for.

"refined"
This little tike will reaffirm your belief that size doesn’t matter. From the beautiful box pressed construction, and the suede wrapper, to the draw and flavor, this stick redefines the concept of a good cigar. They’re pricy, and a bit hard to find, but what a treat when you do. The refined character and subtle nuances lead this cigar gracefully into the top tier of all time best cigars. The Principie is well behaved, and the flavors were balanced and elegant. Though it’s small, you won’t ever be ashamed to light up a Principie. No matter what they say about the size, it’s the smoke that counts.

"Construction flawless"
These are just beautiful cigars, nice rectangular box press, wrapper, draw, burn all flawless. I just wish the flavor had similarity with the better habanos that I have had. These are among the best NCs, but there are many ISOMS out there that cost less and taste much better. As it is, this little beauty is near the of the heap for NCs.

"This smoke is AWESOME"
I picked this up an a whim. I stopped in my local shop to pick up a box of Carlos Torano 2004 Tribute that I ordered. I was totally blown away by this cigar. I am a maduro smoker but for this, I made an exception. This stick is incredible, from its construction, to its smooth taste. This is one of the best cigar I have ever had. I quickly put my name on the list for a box of my own. If you have never had one, TRY IT. This was my first and will certainly not be the last.

"very nice"
Tried one of these for the first time last night. The wrapper was beautiful and the construction felt great. Nice flavor, a little on the bitter side with flavors of coffee, nut, pepper and a little cedar. The draw seemed a little tight at first but opened up within the first inch. The burn was perfectly straight and it held ash very well. Started getting hot with a little over 1" left, but the flavor stayed great all the way down.
