Very good cigar, but does not live up to the other in the Ann. line, such as Exclusivo or Principe both of which I have tried in natural an maduro.

These are the new shape that was introduced late last year in Maduro only. I can't imagine why they are

This cigar is absolutely one of the finest cigars that I have had the enjoyment of smoking. The only draw back is it's availability and limit per customer. If you have the opportunity to obtain and smoke any of the padron cigars I highly recommend it.

This cigar was exceptional, flawless construction like a work of art. Beautiful oily dark wrapper, perfect draw, razor straight burn. Incredible taste with strong overtones of cocoa and coffee. This is an outstanding desert cigar!

"Incredible Flavor!!!"
Man, oh, man.....This cigar was sleeping in my humidor and it was awakened with my Colibri Lighter.....Whew!!!...What a treat. This cigar tasted so damn good. It burned perfect from start to finish. Padron is one of my favorites and this baby affirmed it even more. The smoke was intoxicating. The smell, the taste, the perfect burn. What a Great Time!!!

"What a Cigar should be"
As has already been said, the hype is pretty much warranted here. Beautiful presentation & great aroma before smoking.
Excellent flavor with hints of cedar, cocoa & spices, then it heats up! I bought a box of these & the Exclusivo's, I want to age them for some years, but don't think I'm going to make it!!

"I shouldn't have"
I probably should not have tried a non-Havana cigar after spending two week in Cuba, but I had heard a lot about these. I am convinced that these do well only because Havana cigars are not legally available to the US population. It was a fine and sturdy smoke, but overpriced and not nearly as unique as a Havana. I do not think I would buy another.

"Not as good as Torpedos or Imperials"
I was really hoping that this would be as good as the padron 1964 Torpedo Maduro. Unfortunately, it was not to be. I found the wrapper of the pyrimade to be as delicate as silk as all 1964s. But, the taste was just not the same as the torpedos and imperials. In addition, I found the cap to be more like that of a cheap cigar vs on that should be worth 15 bucks a piece. Still, it tasted like a Padron and gave off lots, and lots, of smoke.

"look around"
You will find these for under 10 bucks if you search around the net. They are a very good 10 dollar smoke with smooth, yet powerful smoke that eminates from a nicely constructed ISOM-like cigar. PADRON is capable of so much that it is amazing tht he can put out a real stinker brand now and then.

"Ehhhh..."
I don't think so. This one was gifted to me, and it was a little lumpy. Not the best 1964 I've had. The draw was decent, but I wasn't a big fan of the "tip." Spicy and nutty with hints of cocoa and pencil lead. But for 14 bucks I think I'll pick up 3 other cigars that are better than this one.

"Very good but fades at the end"
An unusually shaped cigar that's long, pressed, and gently tapered on its sides. The wrapper is a bit rugged but has a dark, rich color. The cigar smokes well with a nice draw producing lots of smoke and a mostly even and consistent draw requiring no corrections whatsoever. Ash is solid and gray. This has the typical flavors expected in this line: chocolate, nuts, and wood, with a chewy texture and long finish. Medium-bodied, curiously not as strong as some of the other sizes; also, the flavor does fade somewhat at the end. Still, the first hour of this 90 minute smoke was very good, so on the whole a nice smoke.

"Classic"
This is what cigar smoking is all about! The hype is warranted. The wrapper, though slightly dry-appearing, was dark brown with minimal veins. An attractive pyramide taper with good construction and no soft spots. Enticing prelight aroma. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. Gray flakey ash. Started with mild white pepper and spice, and then transformed into that "typical" PAM taste, which I would describe as a medley of cocoa, milk chocolate, sweet cedar, mild leather, cinnamon, spice, and a touch of occasional vanilla. The burn in the first 1/3 was uneven as it canoed down one side. However, by the middle third, this autocorrected and burned easy and straight the rest of the way. The flavors intensified as it was smoked, and at the end, left you saying "that was a great cigar" and wanting for more. All in all, this rich, complex, 1-and-a-half hour smoke was all I it was cracked up to be - smooth and satisfying. Have a box from '03, and would get more.

This cigar was as consistent and excellent as all the anniversary line. I have tried the Exclusivo, Monarca, Imperial, and Pyramid-all maduro. They are all delicious, full-bodied, extreme joys to smoke. Forego those extra two lattes during the week and spend your money on this.

Ouch! I was expecting something great. What a disappointment. What first struck me was the draw. It was very loose like they are nowskimping on the amount of leaf. I also didnt like how they squared of the cigar. On inspection the leaves were a little stemy too.

"Very Interesting"
First of all, I had never smoked one of these. As I lit it up and began tasting the flavor, I was left wondering if the buildup was just too much to live up to. It started out very quiet and began to build. After about 1/3 of the way through, the flavor started to take over and I began to understand the hype. When I reached the last 1/3, I had become a true believer and wondered why this cigar wasn't longer. A truly great smoke to take your time with and sit back and enjoy the ride.

"I got burnt"
On my fingers. These cigars need to come with a warning, as to when to put them down. They are so refined. I found the Pyramid to be quite similar to Exclusivo. The rich and robust molassas flavor was never ending. The construction was excellent. This cigar held a lilly white butt for almost 2 inches!

"Another Benchmark Padron"
This is another benchmark for a US cigar market. Year 2002. Same consistent construction and appearance - top notch with sharp and pointy cap. Nice flavor of coco beans, nuts and some cedar, but with some grassy overtones - vintage of the crop means a lot. Still a benchmark cigar. I wonder where BustahCamel got those for $220. I pay $350 and have never seen a better price. Any tip where to buy them for $220?

Now this Anniversario is a definite. Great construction, easy draw, Like all the padron had nuts, cocoas and coffee bean flavor. However this size you could taste the flavor. The only draw back was a bit of an uneven burn, which is somewhat normal for a pyramid or torpedo shape.
