This cigar was quite good for the price. It is definitely stronger and spicier that the 2000, 3000, and 4000 Padron Maduros. This was a gem of a cigar. A box of these will definitely occupy my humidor.

"Four years & going strong"
It seems unfair to rate the aged version of this cigar, since the young ones are already terrific. The ones I'm smoking now are from 2004, and they are fantastic! Reams of creamy, satisfying smoke, perfect draw, very nice burn. Consistent flavor from ignition to the nub: rich maduro profile (like an Arby's jamocha shake,) with some sweet spice and earthy tones, perhaps a bit of floral notes in the second half. Full body and mild/medium strength. Sit on a box or two, if you have the patience--you'll be rewarded!

"Perfect Little Maduro"
This is the first Padron I've smoked, and it won't be the last. The wrapper was exquisitely constructed and the rich, pre-light light taste held flavors of chocolate-covered cherries. The first puff held rich flavors of sweet chocolate while maintaining the subtle hint of berries. There was a mild spice, along with some light earth and leather notes. I did not expect so much flavor out of a cigar this size. The burn was magnificent and required no relighting. I'm going to purchase a few more of these as soon as I'm done writing this review. These will now have a permanent place in my humidor.

"Can't go wrong"
Been smoking this little gem for over a decade. I sit on 35-40 boxes and I have had 2-3 boxes of these rotating for years so they have some age on them; although they are good right away after a year to two they really shine and gain complexity. Typical Padron/Nic flavors of earth and spice. For the price these can't be beat (Under $3 a stick online in the box)

"Worth a second smoke"
This cigar was a birthday gift. Although I have not been a Padron fan, this smoke couldn't be beat. It burned well, held a nice ash, had a strong spicy (almost peppery)flavor throughout. For a short cigar, it smoke as nice as its longer cousins

"The first cigar I found worth rating..."
This cigar is amazing....don't be fooled by the price tag. I went to my local B&M to randomly buy a box of something new and I think I just found my new daily smoke. Flavor is smooth and consistent all the way through. Its the first cigar I ever distinctly tasted flavors of coco and expresso. It is really a treat. I now smoke one in my car on the way home from work everyday. I cant wait until I get out of work. Constructions isn't perfect but it does burn perfectly and cool too. Size is nice as well. It usualy burns for about 30 min. I think I will try the #3000 madies next to try something a little large. I cant realy think of any complaints though.

"That's more like it."
Even in gale force winds this little (7 month aged) guy smoked like a champ. I doubt these will win any beauty contests...unless you like rustic. (I do). Flavor was real nice (finally) as the sweet part of the flavor profile dominated the spice. Nothing mindblowing. Just Nice. Solid value for the $2.50 I paid.

"Dam Good Cigar"
I won a box of these on Cigar Bid and what a delicious surprise. My prefrencence is a maduro. These are a mild to medium although more on the mild side. Mouth full of lushious smoke. A typical Padron good looks, good taste & a damn good cigar.

"That's twice now."
An OK looking box pressed Nicaraguan maduro wrapper. Nice prelight aroma. Burn and draw were top notch. Flavor (again) left me wanting.
I am a medium to fringe of full bodied cigar smoker. This cigar had a one demensional harsh note of pepper and paprika with an underlying woodsy tobacco flavor that just did not hit my palate right. This stick needed more of it's sweet tobacco to come through to offset the spice. It never did. The smallish ring guage may be the culprit. I see that I am in the minority here. Most love the flavor. Either I am not interpreting the flavors right, this is the flavor and I just don't care for it, or I have somehow managed to get 2 bad sticks. I think it's the latter. This smoke lasted about 50 minutes and the finish was nice. I will be back with this in a month or so. I want to like this cigar. Marination may help the others left from the 5 pack. I Paid $2.50/stick.

Same great Padron taste and consistancy just smaller. Just a different size is about all the difference I can discern.Excellent burn and draw just like its larger siblings. Chocolate and pepper that I'm used to in the Padrons.

"Pepper & Paprika"
It's all in your perspective...for 3 bucks? This little powerhouse suprised me. Looked nice. Prelight aroma was nice. This stick hung out in the 'dor with other strong sticks for 4 months. Professional burn and draw. Tighty whitey ash. Gobs of thick smoke. Flavor was unfortunately a 1 demensional pepper and paprika hour and 15 marathon with very little change or depth. Finish was dull and almost non existent. Will try again in a larger ring size. Sometimes smaller sticks can't produce the flavor that their bigger brothers can.

"Lives Up To It's Name"
After finishing a box of these little gems, I have another on order. If you shop around on Froogle, Delicias can be had for a little less than $2.75 each. This cigar really lives up to it's name. A thoroughly enjoyable cigar that is a little milder than a 2000. Even burn, plumes of smoke, good draw, great taste,.... what a value. My only problem is it's hard to smoke just one. I love the 64's for special occasions, but for regular days this is hard to beat. I still try other 3 and 4 dollar cigars, but I haven't found one that can match Delicias. Try it, you'll like it.

"Typical Padron Maduro Excellence"
Nobody does Maduro better than Padron. This one is great in terms of size, smoothness and looks. This is what Maduro is supposed to taste like. Not quite as complex as the 3000 or 4000, but when you have such great tobacco, who cares?

"As others have said...the name says it all"
Another great smoke from Padron, my current favorite brand. Very similar to the 2000 maduro, with a bit less spice and a bit lower complexity. Earthy and sweet start, turning toasty and medium with an almost mild finish. Overall very good, but I'd rate the 2000 maduro slightly higher for a very tiny increase in price

"My Go-To Cigar"
This is my go-to cigar, the smoke I can always depend on enjoying. It's a great size for me; fit and feel is better than the Padron 2000 maduro, which I also love when I'm in the mood for a larger cigar. It's smooth and medium-bodied in flavor, with nice complexity most of the time. Flovors of mocha, nuts and a very light sweetness weave their way all through this smoke. No, it's not up to the quality and heartbreaking beauty of the few Pardon 1964 Anniversaries I have stashed away, but then the Delicia is about a third of the price. The affordable price of less than 3 bucks makes this a runaway winner in the value category, without sacrificing flavor one bit.

"Small, not Less"
This cigar is a little smaller than the more popular 2000, 3000 but packs more flavor than those. I have been a big fan of the 2000 and 3000, but for a short smoke this is a great cigar. Burns a little hotter than the other two, but provides a strong, smooth taste. Not as complex, but every bit as enjoyable. A good cigar to keep on hand for those short smoke opportunities.

Smooth and a great draw beginning to end. Perfect size for a quick, flavorful smoke. Balanced strength to flavor. I wouldn't say any flavor dominated--it was just very steady/smooth. Now a mainstay in mmy humidor--like a trusty old pal to spend time with and when I want to know what I'm in for.
