A nice long relaxing smoke. The draw is a little tight. Spicy, pepper flavor. An excellent cigar for the price.

Not as pretty as the "super duper deluxe" cigars, but an absolute pleasure to smoke.

"Can you believe it?"
I bought a box of naturals several years ago for $91.00 and thought that was a good deal, then lo and behold I found and won a box of 26 maddies for $81. Good cigar right out of the box (dated 8/07) and will be great when they rest a bit. The only drawback is the smoothness factor (I think they are a little dry) when that comes in this cigar will stand among the best.

"9 Years old - Best I ever had"
The regular Padron line can have some inconsistencies in wrapper color and intensity. I bought a box of these in May 1998 and it was one of those absolutely perfect boxes in every regard; wrapper, construction, draw. I had heard once that "sometimes" the regular line would get some wrapper leaf from the annies when there wasn't enough to complete a run. I have no way to verify but these wrappers were flawless as in it just does not get any better. These were POWerful out of the box. Not green or underfermented, just kick your head in strength. In 1998 I had the same 35-40 box humi I have now and knew how to recognize aging potential. I had two or three a year for the next 5 years and although complexity grew they were still as strong as anything I had ever had (yes I smoke cubans too). Anyway the last 6 of these sat from 2004 (chemo-not smoking related) until I dug them up in June last year. No other smoke I have had in 20 years compared to these remaining few. If it was the CA Connoiseurs corner I can't imagine anything less than 100 points. So many of the descriptions you read about-the black cherry, earthy, leather, spice and on and on. Still very full but no edges and in a cigar this size down to the last inch. Last one smoked 01/26/08; I damn near cried. What good does this do anyone? Nothing I suppose, but I had to share. Far surpasses any Padron Anniv I have had, and they have been many. Happy hunting boyos.

"milk chocolate"
although not nearly as great as the 1964, these are outstanding smokes for the price. I smoked one when I first bought the box and they were a bit rough around the edges...let rest several months in the humi and it was a different cigar...smooth, rich and chocolatey. I do prefer the 4000 & 5000 though...maybe the extra tobacco gives a little more flavor but these are outstanding smokes as well...Padron does not know how to make a bad cigar.

"Relax for a Couple Hours"
Along with the 3000 and the Churchill [all maduros] this one always has a place in my humidor. Great taste and smooth smoke, but I can't always find 2 hours where I can truly enjoy the experience. Worth the effort though.

"CONSISTENT"
I love the Magnums so it only made sense to pick up a box of these when the opportunity presented itself. $77.00 on C-Bid. Three cigars into the box and these are nice. Earthy, almond toasty that is consistent throughout. Short finish, great draw, and lazy burn. (That ash won't always stay firm)

"Getting better all the time"
I bought this beautiful Executive about one year ago in Coconut Grove, and has aged since in my humidor #1. I took it out for a big smoke during the corporate Xmas party. Well, the big thing has been improving a lot, being now much closer to a cuban in flavours (nutty, creamy, smmoth) than ever before. Very nice look, with an oily dark maduro wrapper, and good cosntruction too. I had to give a couple of touch-ups, but it lasted to the very last half inch. A great achievement from the house of Padron, and splendid value.

"Excellent value"
The draw was solid but the burn was a bit off from time to time. A smooth medium-to-full-bodied cigar with notes of wood, leather, and nutty subtleties. Burned nice and slow too, a very good value for the price.

"Great Go the Distance Cigar"
When you have some time and need a cigar to go the distance, this is the one. Smooth even burn, with the great Padron flavor. Call it your football or golf cigar...another Padron home run, birdie an touchdown

"A solid cigar"
I bought a box of these cigars and I regularly enjoy these smokes. The flavor is full, yet not too spicey or woody. If you want a good cigar pick up one of these, let others over pay for the high priced AVO, Fuentes, Gurka, etc. This is a good cigar. My only complaint is a few in the box burned hot at first, but nine out of ten were great.

"Very good"
Smoked my first one on new year's eve, two hours og great and consistent smoke, toasty flavor but overall smooth. It's stayed lit all the time, despite the night wind. A great one

"Great Golf Cigar"
Great draw, even burn, beautiful ash. Smoked while golfing on a windy day, didn't have to relight once. Lasted quite a few holes. Great Padron taste, Great Padron price. My new golf cigar.

"A good standard"
I have burnt a few of these now and love the padron flavor at a lower price. Nice long smoke with plenty of character. Consistant medium to strong flavor with no change through the complete smoke. I have found a few with draw problems or underfilling

"It's a secret"
Long cigar with a very consistant woody flavor. It's starts and finsishes with a slightly bitter flavor, but much of this cigar has a sublime creamy woody favor.

"Outstanding !..however"
I am disappointed with my current batch. Every cigar from the box (12 so far) has been underfilled resulting in a hot uneven burn'

"Solid Smoke!"
I was upset at first when my wife got me a box of these for my birthday, I didn't ask for them and had to make room in my humidor. I've gotten over it - these are great smokes! Usual great Padron construction, only drawback is a sort of sticky aftertaste that is disappearing with age. Highly recommended!

"My first Padron"
I tried the Padron Executive. One of the smoothest cigars I have ever smoked. Slight taste of chocolate. I will keep buying these babies. Excellent quality.

"Nice, well priced smoke"
Nice, well priced smoke. I will buy this one again. Kept me interested the whole way and didn't need to be tended to at all.
