"seriously 35 dollars?"
not even close to being worth it... good cigar but a good 10 dollar cigar at best

"just great"
An extremely complex cigar, powerfull but smooth, sort of Bentley of cigars...cocoa, dark chocolate for me are predominant.
Impeccable appearance and very good construction just complete a flattering picture.
For the record, this cigar was a gift from a non smoking bartender in Miami, who had received it as a gift from G. Padron himself during a reception...

"Great smoke"
Great looking smoke with the usual perfecto start. Once past that initial 1/4" it evened out nicely. A flavorful smoke with spice and cocoa elements, but not as good as the 1926 No. 9 Maduro.

"Padron's Perfection"
A beautiful box press perfecto, which seems to be a cross blend between the 1926's and the 1964's, as it has the strength of the '26's and the flavor and aroma of the '64's. While smoking it, it produces a sturdy peppery ash, and also remains cool to the touch even down to the last inch and a half. The smoke smells of fresh brewed coffee, and the cigar tastes of cedar, cocoa, coffee, cream, and oak. I managed to eek out a decent two hours out of this gem.

"Perfect Construction"
Like all premium Padrons, the construction surely did not disappoint. Flawless draw and burn. Smooth like the '26 Naturals, with a distinctive expresso flavor the second half. A very good smoke....worth $30? Not to me, but certainly a cigar I would not turn down.

"Another Padron Serie 1926 Gem"
Impeccable draw, burn and construction. Beautiful dark and sweet wrapper. Started with subtle spice but predominate dark cherry with sweet cinammon and chocolate. Finished with a distinct expresso. Tremendous complexity. The Padron 1964 Anniversary and 1926 Series maduros just continue to amaze me with their unflinching consistency and complexity of flavors. Take any one of these and arguably say they are the best cigars on the market today.

"Good but way overpriced"
Very good cigar. Not much complexity to the flavor, started out sweet and a bit mild and developed into an unsweetened cocoa flavor and just stayed there. I'm glad it was a gift, if I would have paid $30 for it I would have felt ripped off. The 64 maduro is better IMO.

"80th Anniv Maduro"
Very disappointed in this cigar. Have smoked quite a few 26 anniversary Padrons, and this didn't come up to the standard. Might be better in few years in the humidor, but thought for $32 it should have been terrific

"I bought the hype"
I bought this upon the words from my buddy, who works at my local store. He said that it really is excellent and worth the money. I will say that it is very good, but not worth the money. It does share the typical flavors you find in the other 1926's, but it trades some of the sweet, rich maduro for earthiness. It is also pretty full bodied and strong, the burn and construction are excellent.

"Padron does it again"
I have been waiting for these for a little while now, and the minute they hit the shelf I wanted to be one of the first in line to scoop them up. All I have to say is wow! There are not too many smokes out there that will offer better flavor and pack a bigger punch than this bad boy. Not only is it a joy to look at with its near flawless construction, its also just as good to smoke from light to finger burning finish. If you are lucky enought to find some, buy them and enjoy. I can only imaging what they will taste like after about a year in the humidor.

"Full punch with an uppercut"
Full bodied with coffee, cocoa, earthy, and spicy harmony. Beautiful shape and construction with even draw. Watch the half time mark as a solid punch comes unexpected.

"The embodiment of a perfect cigar"
One of the finest cigars I have ever smoked. Appearance, construction and burn were flawless. From my experience, Padron makes the best non-Cuban cigars around and this is their limited edition flagship for this year. I would recommend this cigar to anyone as long as the price doesn't intimedate you.

"Top notch"
Top notch, grade A tobacco. Wonderful construction and cap. Nice even burn and solid draw. Flavors were very prominent with cocoa, cedar, and earthy notes. Full bodied cigar which ends in a BANG! Extremely full-bodied finish. Worth $30? Not sure, but definitley a great cigar.
