"Supprise From Nicaragua"
The cigar was alot smoother and cleaner tasting than I was expecting. It is not an early morning smoke because of the power but is still great with a good cup of coffee

"Refined"
I picked this box up mid-March and let them settle before sampling my first date amongst all the lovelies inside. Yeah that was a little weird. Anyway, in contrast to MaNoLittleWords these wrappers are thick and silky to the touch with little to no veins. The usual/phenomenal construction and draw you anticipate from Padron.

Things that impressed 1) Absolute razor perfect burn 2) TONS of smoke. My patio loked like Cheech & Chong were throwing a party but it was just me. 3) Character & Flavors were very round and refined; a sublime experience for the taste buds. An amazing progression; starting out buttery smooth medium and building fuller in graduation throughout the length of the smoke.

Not "as" impressesed - the appearance was not really bad but for the $ expected less lumpy/bumpy. Not enough better IMO for the difference in price to the '64. OVERALL - Yum-A-Dum!

Sweet, Creamy, and Delicious! Wrapper was very thin and fraile, but didn't detract too much.

"the king of nicaragua"
here we go. let me start off by saying i reviewed this cigar before but i apparently hit the wrong button and deleted my review! so because i feel this cigar is worthy, i will try again. alittle background on me, i smoke mostly isom's (and pepin garcias) so ive become quite snobby latey. but i also know i have to be open to try new things! i was lucky enough to be able to purchase a 2 yr old box of these babys very reasonably, so i thought here my chance. anyway this cigar does not disappoint, its contruction is flawless, the burn is excellent, the taste is very good. it has a very one diamenstial quality to it, meaning the flavor is very consistant the whole way thru i found. but this is not a bad thing. all in all i found this to be an excellent smoke, which i enjoyed very much. very glad i bought the whole box. the only issue i see naturally is the price, padron knows how to charge for these mothers and they are never, ever on sale. i recomend however that all serious herfs skip the car payment one month and pick some of these up, in my humble opinion they are worth it.

"Arm and a leg"
is what it cost me to try one of these cigars. Here in Ca. the prices of cigars is steep to say the least, taxes. This is on expensive smoke and it is not worth it. Don't get me wrong it's a steller smoke, faltastic construction, superb flavor. It really is a great smoke, but, I can't afford to smoke these cept for mabe 1 or 2 a year.

"Well Made!"
An excellent and well made cigar. It is full bodied and delicious with notes of walnut, espresso, and black pepper. Price is high but with supply and demand as they are, people are willing to pay.

"Awesome"
The attention to detail by the roller is always evident with a Serie 1926. Pre-light aroma made me drool. I toasted the foot as a little smoke emitted and danced above my torch. Lit her up and the full bodiedness hit me with a knock out punch from the start. I let her burn an inch and the flavors started to warm up. A mellow spicy flavor of latin coffee grounds and hints of Godiva semi-sweet chocolate coated my pallet. A wonderful finish that embraced the aged Cazadores Blanco 100% Blue Agave Tequilla I sipped during this reveiw. I often experiment in my cigar parings and I am absolutely amazed how the agave made the flavors of my Padron intensify. This stick has a well-balanced draw and produces a wonderful salt-n-pepper ash. Halfway into the smoke I began to taste some fine Corinthian leather, like that of those over-price Louis Vuitton purses my always wants for Xmas. She bitches about my cigars and she has a closet full of purses and shoes, go figure!

"Oh, if I could ONLY smoke these always!!!!"
Complex flavor, perfect construction, gorgeous shape, feels great in the hand, looks great out of the humidor, only it's $30 a pop in NY - thank G-d for gifts!!! This is a fantastic cigar - 1926's are just amazing cigars. The white ash against the oily wrapper, a bottle of 18 year old Talisker.... oh yes my friend, oh yes...

"a perfect 10"
For the seasoned smoker I think this is a perfect 10. Every aspect of this cigar is perfect.
I do think to really appreciate this cigar you need to have been smoking a few years. Its a stronger cigar with a smoothness really 2nd to none. I don't think this is complex but more of a straight forward blasts of smoothness.
I am a value smoker so for me to spend $22 on one stick is rare.
Is it worth th $22 I paid for it..........YES

"super quality"
I can never smoke to many of these. Perfect construction. An amazing draw, almost effortless. Distinctive woody flavors with alot of balance. Each puff generates thick powerful smoke. Such unique flavor that is always consistent. Each one just as good as the last. Superb with only a month or two in the humidor. Worth every bit of the $20 price tag. A tasty treat for all cigar junkies.

"Everyone takes shots at the Top Dog"
Stop...take $20 down to the local Tobacconist and BUY ONE OF THESE. Like a great piece of art, it needs to be experienced...and you will write your own story with the flavor palate. I found this masterpiece to be everything I want in a smoke...smooth yet very complex...and first class in every respect. Someone has to have an axe to grind to rate this poorly in ANY category...because it was flat out magnificent.

"Great Smoke"
Only one cigar store out of four in my local area carries these puppies, and the one shop sells them for $24 a pop, but they looked too delicious in the humi, so i had to try one. This cigar is really a fine cigar. Pre light this cigar felt and smelled wonderful. The light was flawless, and from there on out never needed a relight or any corrections. The flavor was quite nutty, and the smoothest that I have ever had in a cigar, though not quite as strong as I prefer. Once i nubbed it, i found i was extremely satisfied with my experience, but not ready to drop another $24 on one anytime soon.

"Full bodied"
Beautiful to look at with a smooth silky wrapper. It's very well made although with a 1/4 to go it stopped burning. By then since I had a pretty good buzz I didn't bother to re-light it. Similar flavor but considerably stronger than the 64 Anniversary Series.

"Very smooth"
Padron really spoils you with their anniversary line's. This particular cigar actually live's up to the hype.Smooth from the very beggining till the nub.Coffee and almond flavor's mixed in with a little spice, also very aromatic. This size was much better than the first one I tried ,because it burned cooler no matter how much I couldn't leave it alone!Way too pricey to enjoy on any kind of regular basis .Still searching for the perfect smoke.

"Ooh la la"
This is a very fine cigar indeed. I agree with the criticism that it's not enough of a step up from the 1964 to justify the price. But the "problem" with Padron is EVERYTHING they make is so great, including their regular line. My only criticism of this cigar may be that it's almost too smooth. Then again, who doesn't like dessert?

"Good, but ......."
I agree with the brief review below for the most part. I have a ton of respect for Padron, but the 1926 line is somewhat of a letdown. This cigar starts slow and builds, but never gets to where I hope it will go. Draw is too free, otherwise construction is good. Flavor is intense and very floral, but one-dimensional. Not complex, overpriced. It has its moments, but it doesn't compare to the higher end Cubans of this size or price.
