"Diamond in the rough"
A great cigar that's better than my old standby favourite the Shorts in almost all categories. Great burn, excellent flavour, lots of spice and great draw. What more can a guy ask for?

"Good flavor bad draw"
The flavor was great on this stick but the draw was so pour I just couldn't get a lot of smoke off this thing. Floral and spice with a wood flavor the intensefies as it goes. the burn was almost a razor line matter of fact the best i've ever seen on a habano. I'll have to revist this one.

"Very nice for the price"
Enjoying Partagas Shorts so much, I decided to pick up a couple of boxes of these. I knew it would be a somewhat different smoke, but at around $3 a stick, I fugured what have I got to lose.
The boxes were dated April 2006, so with a little over a year on them, I wasn't disappointed at all. A fruity smell eminating from the box before I even opened it, good construction, nice draw, peppery to the lips (which with Partagas I've found to be par for the course), spicey & earthy with a bit of cream. By the end I was surprised with a bit of power. Basically it's what I would expect from a Partagas.
Is it an 8-9-8, well of course not. Is it a good Cuban smoke for under $4, it most certainly is.
I'm sure these are going to age fantastic!

"Super Partagas ,,,great Value...SUPER CIGAR"
I purchased two boxes of these wonderful cigars. On the Initial Light, it was smooth and tasty. The draw is fine and mellow. It has a Leathery taste with a Slight hint of coffee beans. Partagas is one of the great companies in Cuba. I highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys a great Cuban cigar. I got the July 2006 boxes. They do need a Bit of aging, but I am not one to wait. It's the Holidays. Time for great food, Great Beer and super Partagas

"Super Patagas - Super Smoke"
Small Patagas sticks really seem to hit the spot for me, i think the PC is a great one, but this stick just beats it at the line for me. All the classic earthy flavour you could want, masses of smoke and a long leathery finish. Yes they can get hot and bitter in the last inch, but what do you expect from such a skinny stick, quit complaining. If value is key to you, these are second to none.

"Great Partagas cigar"
Another winner from Partagas, this one had all the Partagas qualities, that familiar profile along with some great spicy twang the last half. A long finish, near perfect burn and nice draw with oodles of smoke. I just can't get enough of most of the Partagas line, and this is another good one!

"Super Partagas"
Very harsh, unpleasant strong smoke when young. After 6 months of aging, its not the same cigar: Nice cuban twang, earthy and spicy flavour, with a slight sweet creamy overtone. Some of the Supers also had a chocolate flavour appear, but all of them turned harsh close to the label.

"Super Partagas"
This is a very good on the wallet intro into ISOM cigars. It burns great and has plenty of that Cuban twangy taste. It can surprise you with its power though.

"On probation"
Smoked 2003-04. Mid-brown wrapper. Good draw. Burn evens itself through the first inch. Sweet wood and herbs. Some youthful recoil. Lacks the classy clay-toned cap, rich farmyard earthiness and smoothness of the much-missed Tres Petit Coronas. Will the 'Super' gain ground with more humi-time?
