"You will wish it was a pico bonito!!"
This is one wonderful cigar!!This cigar is a rich oily maduro that seems to share its profile with the hoyo dark sumatra. very rich flavor at light up!! This cigar just gets better it has a spicy dark cocolate that turns into a sweet spicy cocolate. At this point you will be wishing that there is about another inch or so to go!!! Great smoke but buy Two!!!! There is so much oil in the wrapper it will turn your fingers brown!!

"Nice"
Handsome, shiny dark Honduran wrapper oozing oils. Box time on this stick was probably 8 months. Gifted to me by Glenn. Thanks buddy as the flavor of this was a very deep, smooth, intense, rich, mostly straight tobacco flavor with some sweet nuances every now and then. Body to me was mostly medium to full. I enjoyed this stick. Burn, draw and construction were all top notch. Thanks again Glenn.

"very good flavor, burned like a fuse"
Looks inviting, despite the sloppy cap and tiny wrapper patch. Loose, hot draw. I had to baby this one to keep it from heating up, but it burned like a fuse anyway. I have little to add to the tasting notes by El Gaucho and ToroTom below. (Well done, guys.) As much as I enjoyed the flavor of the Libertad, I can't overlook the dodgy build. With the cosmetic flaws, this probably should've been a factory second. And at 6.95 at my B&M, I'm less than thrilled with the value.

"A safe back-up smoke"
This is a decent smoke with nice flavor. I was able to smoke it past the band without any hot taste. Probably medium bodied with peppery flavors and woody undertones. Very nice spice to it- kinda like jasmine sweet but spicy. Also some vanilla at the start then then honey-ish then oatey. I had some problems with the burn though, and have found myself having to relight several times. Overall, a good smoke, and I'll buy some more just to have on hand.

"Outstanding"
This size seems to be mellower than the other sizes in the Gran Puro line. It’s a well balanced cigar that tastes to me like a maduro. A shimmering sweetness floats above the expected Honduran body. It’s robust and meaty, with a woody finish. Never sharp, never biting, and very well constructed. A long white ash accumulates and falls at the two inch mark. Perfect draw and an even burn. At 4 USD per stick, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Except more.

"Good, but not to the last puff."
This stick had a nice and easy draw, lots of smoke with plenty of flavor. The ash did tend to flake a bit but he overall quality of construction was good. The only issue that I have with it is that it burned faster than most cigars this size and when it would get to the midway point it would give me the nasty taste and the smoke very hot despite the fact that I purposely did not take as many draws as I do on other cigars. Total # of these tested by me 10 so far but more may be needed 😉

"nice"
Good cigar for the money with an attractive white ash and flavors that are between medium and full bodied.

"Excellence in a tube"
Picked up at a Promo display, and glad I did. Very smooth, medium to full bodied and delightful flavor. Once they're around I'll get more.
