"spicy finish"
A lingering spicy finish. Great after dinner smoke

There is good reason that this cigar has recently cracked the top 25. I suspect that after more people have the opportunity to try it, it will be a top ten contender.

"A tremendous smoking experiances"
I have only had the vintage ones from 98,99 and 02. Too expensive for an everyday cigar at least for me, but I will enjoy one or two a month. This is a well crafted stick with a mellow creamy and very pleasent taste.

"Mellow and Magnificent"
Last night I had one of these rolled in 2000, and it was astoundingly smooth and complex. Smoked it all the way to the nub, and can't wait for another.

"Pretty Mild, Very Satisfying"
I liked this cigar a lot. I've smoked it several times, and while I can't afford a whole box, I do buy them as a special treat for myself. They have a lof of flavor, but not so much body as to be tough for beginners. Enjoy this cigar with a nice scotch. I love it.

"I Expected More"
Punch has always made a great cigar. Construction was good, but not great. Flavor was middle of the road and I kept telling myself it will get better. For full-bodied smokers I do not recommend. It sure looks sexy though.

"Lucky pick"
Grabbed a box of these after seeing some beauts lying out in my hometown shop. Am I glad! The first one was a little young, but great, great construction, nice draw, and good medium flavours.

"interesting blend"
Finally got around to pulling one of these from the bottom of my d'or. Started out with extreme pepper, next third mellowed but still that pepper, thelast thhird was beautiful. Almost perfume like in flavor.

"Damm good cigar"
I like this line better than the Grand puro line, it has more complexity to it, best of the Punch lines, this cigar is worth the buy

"Mild smoke"
This is a well made cigar on the mild side but with enough flavor to make it interesting to the pallette. Wish it was just a tad bit longer but a very enjoyable smoke for the money.

"Yuck"
This was the absolute worst cigar I have ever smoked. I must have had a bad one or something, but I refuse to give it another try avoid any possibility of having a similar experience. Mouth tasted like a combination of plastic and listernine after smoking this thing. The draw was WAY too tight, and it unraveled in several places. I only smoked about 20% then tossed it. Never again. What is strange is that I'm a a HUGE Punch (regular) fan. I can't believe this cigar was made the same company!

"Nice"
Probably the best line Punch has to offer.I used to think this was the best medium ,but I think the CAO Gold is a little more interesting.Even burn and great ash.

"The cinch"
I reviewed this cigar earlier and wanted to correct the number ratings that were entered. I stand by my previous comments, this is truly a great cigar that everyone needs to try. If you do, it will become one of your regulars.

"Knockout Punch!"
Though not normally a Punch fan I had to see what all the fuss was about. Wow! What a great cigar! Flawless construction with a somewhat uneven burn. Can't wait to try the maduro version.

"A great overpriced smoke!"
Good? Yes! Overpriced? Yes!
I cant think of one negative thing to say about this smoke....except it wasnt wor the $9.00 I paid for it. Spicy start the mellowing off, but I did run into some tunneling at the end, so its gonna lose some kuddos for construction. Worth a smoke just to say ya had one, but nothing to wright home about...

"Well made and solid."
This cigar has always performed well, along with the maduro version. I can't say I have had the same success with the rest of the Grande Cru line, but this is a keeper.

"An all time great"
This approaches greatness. Flawless construction...sweet mature complex without a ounce of bite. I would smoke this again and again and again...

"Excellent Value"
For the money, this is if not the best, in the top 3. Complex, smooth taste and flawless construction.
