Punch (Hon) After Dinner (Maduro)

I love Oscuro and Maduro cigars and I have had some very good to great cigars but these Punch was not strong as much as I thought they were harsh. I had a box of these and I aged some of them for four or five months and they were tolerable. Compare them to a Hoyo or a Onyx and they can't come close. The Rare Curojo was a different story. They were perfect.

One day after slumming it, sitting around puffing on backwoods and avanti's, I decided that they just were'nt doing it for me so I broke out one of the good ones. These Punch after dinner maduro's were so enjoyable I just about had to change my trousers. Best described as going from skim milk to heavy whipping cream. They really are as smooth as silk. A very smooth spiciness and a hint of chocolate. The aroma and flavor is just outstanding.

Stopped in at the local shop before a short business trip. I had the After Dinner before lunch with a big cup of black coffee. You could taste the Punch flavor under a slightly harsh beginning that evolved into a good maduro bite. I like bite and i liked the buzz I got from the coffee/tobacco combo. Not the top of the line but a good straight forward maddie.
