"Very good"
Perfect apperarence, no cracks in wrapper, just slightly oily. Construction was excellent, it was an even burn, no re-lights, ash held on for over 1.5 inches. Flavor was mild and solid tobacco, but was not harsh. It had a hint of creaminess, no spice. Draw was excellent all of the way through, consistent and even and not too tough. I think this is a very under rated cigar and I am going to buy a box and let them age a few months.

"The Spice is Right"
Maybe I smoked a different cigar than some of the other people reviewing this did; I thought this stick was wonderful. True spiciness coupled with excellent burn and construction. A fairly good price. What more can you ask for? Probably wouldn't fill the humidor with them, but I would suggest trying this one.

"Try it"
If you are a new cigar smoker..give this a try. It is a safe smoke. It wont knock you down and it will give you a good draw with a good burn all the way down. It wont tantalize your taste buds with complex flavors or make you decide to make it your sole stick in the "humi"

"Very good for a freebie"
If you attend one of General's "Punch Photo Shoot " events you get this for free. I think they make sure you get a good cigar because it was better than I expected. Even though it's very solidly packed it has an excellent draw; it also burns nearly perfectly and the ash holds on for inches. It has wood and leather flavors around the core tangy/funky Punch taste. Medium-bodied, with slightly more strength than the smaller sizes. The actual price on these is still reasonable, especially for the size, but if an event comes near you try not to miss it.

"two halves"
Decent looking cigar with a nice oily wrapper. First half tasted leather.earth.tobacco.camaroon. The second half dulled out and picked up a metallic flavor. First half was ok (if not my thing) the second half was just not ok. Burn and draw were fine.

"Consistent Classic"
No mysteries with Punch it's very consistent offering warm spices and creamy, buttery flavors at the start. Stays very smooth as you draw with the strength and spice picking up on the finish as you exhale. The finish also brings that funky Punchy taste which makes this cigar unique. It is an acquired taste like beer or scotch an not everyone likes it. I do. Fantastic burn and firm draw allows you to control the strength and spice with the amount of smoke you take in without concern for the cigar going out. Good deal at $3 and under. Let these rest 3 months and theres no bitterness.

"Same blend, same result"
This is the same blend of tobaccos found in the After Dinner EMS and the results is the same great, consistent spicy-sweet tobacco taste. The sweetness is more apparent in the After Dinner EMS as it starts cooler with its longer length. Not that complex but this blend is one of my favorites beacuse I know it's always going to be good.

"good, but only for a while"
First thing I noticed was the way the cigar felt. Very well contstructed, smooth, nice weight...exceptional feel. It also smelled terrific before lighting--always a plus. It burned great and drew smooth all the way down...but it lost a good bit of its taste about 3/4 of the way down. At that point, a good bit of the "classic punch taste" gave way to a very bitter smoke. Would've been a great smoke if it wasn't for the finish. Good smoke for the price, though.

"2nd Half Let Down"
This cigar had exeptional construction, draw and burn the first half. I was very pleased with the flavors too. Nice darkness to the wrappe as it was oiling up.

Then the second half arrived. *sigh* It started to run like the joints I rolled in the early '70s !! Got quite hot in the 2nd half and became a bit bitter as well. If they could perfect this stick so that it stayed the same as the first half all the way down they would have a gem on their hands.

"Good stuff"
I really like Punch cigars and this is no exception. Good tight light ash, good flavor all the way through, nice tight dark appearance, good burn. It did get real hot on the last third though. Good value at $3.25!

"good punch"
The look of this wrapper was perfect, not a single major flaw. The sheen it gave off was very appealing. The cigar had a beautiful pre-light aroma. The construction could not have been better, straight cool burn and a tight white ash that held for over and inch and a half. Of course it had classic Punch spiciness. Burned the fingers on this one. Never have gone wrong with a Punch.

"Good smoke"
Well not to many English here I see. I personally enjoy this cigar very much, it's not a great cigar but a good after dinner smoke with a stout ale and single malt. I like the spice strong taste of Punch cigars.

"This One Will work"
Got this stogie in a sampler. Met my needs for a mild cigar on the spot. Gave it a rating of: It'll do. I Would like to try its brother from Cuba. Not a bad smoke. Nothing fancy . . . just good flavor and good construction.
