what can I say, loads of flavor, decent construction and burn and only $38.95 for a box. I will definately be trying the EMS and maduro as well. i think i might have found a new everyday smoke.

"Good"
I bought this one after reading the reviews here and you all were right. JR was having a deal--box of 25 for $40 plus a free lighter. I wanted the lighter anyway so I checked the reviews and got the Double Maduro. This has the dark maduro taste without any sweetness. Good earth, wood, a hint of spice. Nice and smooth. And the price is killer to boot!

"One of the best daily's"
I've smoked beaucoups cigars from Habanas to expensive boutique models and even cheapies and machine mades. And, I'm not wealthy, so inexpensive sticks are really appreciated, especially for daily routine smokes. These little gems are killers. The taste is soo rich for a $2.00 'gar. There's hardly ever a bad one in box after box. The burn is even, almost never have to baby one along; draw is smooth and easy. Perfect with black coffee in the AM; perfect with a nightcap late at night. I've got some $25 sticks in my humi. plus a good stash of Cubans. Sure, some are great smokes, and I won't compare this stick with them straight across on merits, but this guy will never let me down, and it's much better than many 'gars that I've smoked over the years that cost me up to five times as much. Highly recommended. I use a narrow gauge punch cutter, and I've noticed that the caps are rather flimsy, but that doesn't stop the enjoyment of this stick. Med. in strength, full of flavor.

"Punch Elite - Obscuro - Superb Short Smoke!"
A beautiful short smoke (1 hour). Superb flavor. Firm draw - very tight roll. Not the most even burn, but certainly not bad. Dark, oily wrapper. Good enough to eat. Lots of character! Burns lots of smoke. Leaves a wonderful maduro smell on fingers. Absolutely dDelicious and a real bargain at $37.95 for a box of 25!! Actually, I've not had a bad Punch yet.

"lots of pop"
This stick had a nice overall appearance with a dark oily wrapper that had some veiny-ness to it. The cap cut like butter and the pre-draw was good. The foot lit even and burn that way till the end, with no soft spots to slow it down. The ash was some what soft and crumbly. The taste was on the medium to full and had nice notes of coffee and wood with a spicy finish. A little stick with lots of pop.

"good little smoke"
I generally prefer the larger ring gages, but this little stick caught my eye sitting next to one of my favorite everyday smokes the Punch Rothschild Double Maduro. I expected the the flavors of this stick to be similar to the Roths, but I didn’t expect it to be as good. I’ve found cigar manufacturers tend to use the small diameter cigars for a dumping ground of sub standard tobacco. I was hesitant at first, but this stick showed me what a good cigar manufacturer can do, even with smaller ring gages. I’m sold on Punch. Though not as complex as its larger brethren, the flavors were warm and toasty, with just a little bite of black pepper. Burn was even and flawless, and I have to admit taking the last few puffs was like watching a good friend leave. My next purchase will be a box of these.

"Value for the $$"
Good looking stick, deep Maduro. It was rolled just a bit to Tight! Difficult draw in the beginning, a little massage helped it along. then good thick smoke. Taste of Earth and Leather. Medium Plus Strength. A steady smoke, what i can only term as a "typical" Punch. i like that flavor. a good short smoke and a good price. Jr Boxes of 25 for $44, with a free torch lighter. i bought this one as a single to try so i spent more.
