Less than $2 a stick, but I'd like 'em even at $4 or $5 a stick. Nice prelight aroma. Burn, ash, etc were ok. Nice dark, almost black, oily maduro wrapper. Tastes better a little over-humidified. Good draw. Big Honduran taste with a twist from the d

"Chunky little stick"
Nice oily wrapper, cigar had some heft. Firm draw didn't pull too much smoke, just enough. Great burn. Flavor was consistent: nutty/woody, only a hint of spice. Very short finish, mild/med strength. For the price this could be a decent everyday smoke.

"Great Value"
I'm a relatively young cigar smoker and I picked one of these up at the local tobacconist and was pleasantly surprised. The burn was smooth and long (it burned straight through to the end, no canoeing). The taste lingered in my mouth ever so slightly for a while after I had finished smoking. This was one of the cigars i picked up on a whim and I was shocked at how good it turned out to be. Definitely worth the couple bucks to give it a try, great leisure smoke. Not something for a special occasion but perfect for a spur of the moment daily smoke.

"real good"
a very good maduro smoke in every aspect. Draw was perfect (not too much smoke, but not an all out effort to puff), not too much spice for a maduro, but good spice, rich nutty flavor throughout the whole cigar. what amazed me was the lack of harshness. i smoked this thing down to about 2 1/2-3 cms, and it wasnt any harsher than halfway through it. great with a black cup of coffee. recommend to anyone, especially rookie maduro smokers.

"tried fresh from the tobacconist"
Paid a little much for instant gratification w/ this one - but a good value at internet prices. I will smoke again. construction was great w/ a nice even draw. lit easily & burned even. Must be the Punch thing cause predominant in the flavor is spice - tingles the tongue and sometimes the lips... a complex taste though w/ woody notes and spice finish. smoked to the nub and that was extra spice - w/ quite a kick - nice for when you really want a tough smoke (but not too tough)

"Great little smoke - with a KICK!"
Had this one last night for the first time and it was nice. Started off spicy, then melowed out to a nutty, coffee flavor then ended with some more spice. The construction was flawless which produced a 2 inch ash before it fell off. Lots of smoke and the stick stayed cool throughout. Not an everyday cigar for me, but will always keep a few on hand.

"Absolute classic"
I've smoked some of these over the years and I've got to say this cigar is probably one of the all-time classics. The double-Maduro is probably the best loved, but the Maduro and Natural are just as good. What I really like about it is the taste--it's hard to describe, sort of a woody salty slightly biting smoke that is medium to full bodied. It just really hangs on your mouth for a long time after you're done. It's very reminiscent of a Rey Del Mundo, but it's better.
Draw is pretty loose. Construction is good. Price is a great value.
A must try if you've never had one, especially if you like stronger cigars.

"Good maduro flavor"
This maduro is a bit dry and rough-looking but is otherwise well-rolled. It burns slow and consistently but the draw is rather firm and the ash produced is flaky. A fairly robust smoke that's spicy, earthy, and sweet. Will try the double maduro version soon for comparison.

"strong"
This is a strong cigar...maybe a little too strong for me. Starts off spicy; gets a little milder but more bitter about 1/2 way down. Draw is loose. Construction is very good. Nice maduro wrapper.
This is a decent cigar but I would not say it is amazing. Not for the beginner. Nice cheap way to try the punch-line (pun intended.)

"Good but not great"
As always with the Rothschild, this one was very nicely rolled and had a great draw. At light it was nicely chocolately, and quickly turned leathery and toasty with a slight spicy overtone and a persistent light sweetness. At about 2.5 inches it started turning mild, and by the third inch it had turned almost tasteless. Overall a good cigar, but the MM is a better and more consistent smoke.

"punch came out again"
The appearance was good minus two veins. Good burn, good ash, I thought the draw would be tight at first because the cigar was very very hard, but lots of smoke came out. The pre-light taste and smell were very harsh, and I was afraid this would be my first negative punch experience. When I lit it up the cigar was smooth and spicy, not an ounce of harshness. Smoked to the nub.

Just kicks the natural wrapped Punch Rothschild one notch further up the butt.
The bitterness is still really there at the end and I must say, more unpleasant with the Maduro wrapper adding to it, but it's a great tasting cigar until then.

"A Pleasant Maduro"
This is a pleasant little Maduro with nothing much to distinguish it. It lights well, holds a nice whitish ash. It is well constructed, though there are noticable veins (stems) on or under the wrapper. The flavor is a bit bitter at first, but mellows out to a sweeter maduro taste. The smoke is thin and at one point grows metallic. It's an uninspired but pleasant cigar.
