"Incredible"
One of the best sticks I've had in a while. Awesome, smooth, earthy, slightly sweet flavors of clay, charcoal, stewed meat, and raisins. slight uneven burn. Cool even draw. Gobs of smoke. Very impressive. Thank you very much Glenn. Value based upon $5. Probably a year of box time.

"not freaking out"
It was ok, not worth the money spent. Good looking cigar, nice draw and a good even burn. Consistent taste. Starts off spicey and leaves a woodsy flavor to the end.

"That Tease!"
Having just finished one and the memory of the smoke still lingering in my mind, the first thing I must say is that the construction is top notch; perfectly filled, perfect draw, and razor sharp burn - the ash even held for 3 inches, HOWEVER, the flavor seems to need some more depth. This cigar is overcome with woody dry flavor and doesn't quite make the mouth water like some other corojos. Don't get me wrong however, it was a perfectly enjoyable smoke, its just that my expectations were a bit higher for the price range as there are more flavorful cigars to compete with this Punch. The last one-third is acrid and enjoyment ends there, however until that point you puff and puff expecting more flavor to develop that just doesn't happen. This cigar makes for a good easy smoke that you can certainly have fun with, however you should be forewarned- it is a tease.

"OK"
A beautiful cigar, but I had to smoke it cigar VERY slowly to keep it from getting nasty. When I could manage to take it slow, the flavor was pleasant and of gingerbread and general tobacco. When I would try to smoke it at a normal pace, it became bitter, grassy, rubbery and metallic. As you can tell, the nasty flavors stand out much more prominently in my mind than the good flavors do. I'd had this one in my humidor for over a year, so I expected a bit more from it. I'm not sure why the flavors were so off at times except that the draw was very lose, so it was easy to get it burning too hot. Anyway, pretty good overall, but there was nothing special about it. Probably my first and last of these.

"Interesting find, indeed!"
The wrapper is beautifully dark. Shape and feel are great. Recently Punch has been box pressing these cigars, giving them the 'square' body...if that's working so far is still up for debate. The construction is amongst the best out there. The flavor is either intimidating, or beloved. 1st third the 'rare' is giving you a very peppery and spicey palate. about mid-way, the earthy notes and the rawness of the soil is tasted. Don't allow this 'rare' to burn past the last 3rd as the sour will ruin your enjoyment.
If you enjoy notes of raw earthy flavor and very hot and spicey tones, then you will love this cigar. It is one of my top 3 favorites. It is always worth at least one try.

"Yuck"
I've rarely considered not finishing a cigar, as sometimes the first inch or so is badly made. But the funky flavor was overbearing over an otherwise decent toastiness, and it left a nasty stale cigarette aftertaste. Not recommended.

"Very nice smoke and great price"
Great for the price, nice draw, even burn, nifty taste. I tried the longer ones but they had a tighter draw that wasn't comfortable. I bought a box and enjoy them frequently.

"Not pleasant"
Perhaps I purchased a bad batch?! The cigar had great construction and appearance. Excellent, even burn and ash. The wrapper smelled strange, almost a pungent cheese like smell. At first light, it had a severe peppery taste, close to biting into a jalapeno pepper. It eased off a little about mid ways, giving way to the strongest wood taste I've ever experienced. It was nauseating. I still cannot believe how peppery it was. I prefer strong cigars, but I just don't know how to classify this one. This didn't tickle my nose, it burnt my nostrils (no joke). I have one more in my humidor that I will give away to someone I don't like. No Corojo Punch for me, if I buy Punch again it will be their rather tasty Grand Cru. I think they slipped CA something else to get that 92 score.

"ehhhh"
This stick looked good, and burned well but it was a little bland for my tastes. It had a great draw, lots of smoke, nice ash, but its taste was a bit harsh and leathery. I prefer more complex smokes so if you enjoy a consistent burn with a good contruction you might want to try the these out.

"Not bad...but could be better"
I enjoy the Pita in this line, so I thought having a bigger ring gauge would make it even better. However, I was let down. Decent smoke, easy draw, upper edge of medium strength. Seemed a little lose, ash kept falling in my lap after only about 1 inch. My wife commented how terrible it smelled. I'll stick with the Pita or the Rothschild in this line

"Firm"
Nice slightly square pressed beauty. Muli-layered flavor of cigar box, leather and an overall depth of flavors. Medium finish. Tremendous value.

"Not too shabby"
I bought a box of these because I saw them on sale. I had previously smoked a couple different Punch's and had some confidence they would be good. Big guage, decent flavor, some have a great draw, others not so great. Some also don't want to burn evenly. But overall these are a decent everyday smoke. The price kinda makes it worth it though. Thus far, the Fuente Don Carlos' are my favorites.

"Good value but some inconsistencies"
This cigar has a fine aromatic aroma but the burn is inconsistent. The construction is a little loose and the cigar tends to heat up a bit. While this cigar has some issues it is still worth a try.

"Punch Rare"
I thought that it was a great cigar for the size of it. I still love the Punch Champ's. They are the best!
