Although I'm fond of milder cigars, Puros Indios is an exception. Medium to full bodied, the complexity of flavors throught are too much to resist. My current stock includes some that have aged 5 years and at this stage, the cigars are at their peak of perfection. The exceptional balance includes spice, mocha and hints of earth. The extended aging in the cabinet also imparted a cedary nature from the start to the delicious finish. The construction is quite impeccable actually, as I've never encountered a Puros Indios cigar that didn't draw well or burn unevenly. Even the band is very striking. A heavy meal of red meat is an excellent way to prepare for this cigar. Skip any fruit salads or anything else acidic after you eat and light up one of these cigars to enjoy the total treat that it is. A good VSOP cognac is a fine accompanyment.

had one of these at a party and was taken aback by how good it was,good construction and not to tight,plenty of smoke and nice creamy flavor,the pick of the litter that night and would smoke these again.

$1 for a good smoke at auction. I guess they were emptying the warehouse. Good deal for me on a medium bodied PI with the flavors I enjoy.

Found on CigarBid for $1.50 a stick, wasn't expecting anything more than a typical "desert cigar". Draw was a tad tight, burn was even and solid amount of smoke. Mild bodies, with a yummy hit of cedar and leather. Very smooth and burned nice and slow. Is a great value at $1.50, I'd even consider paying up to $4 a stick. Good overall smoke.

Grass and mild tobacco flavor and little else. Tight draw that was taken care of with a poker. I like alot of the other offerings from Puros Indios but not this long grass skirt.

I have had about a box of these and they are like a loyal friend...........consistent and trustworthy. No surprises, you get what you expect. Medium body with a nice bit of spice and coffee.
