"among the finest"
For its price, its the best cuban ever smoke. its so smooth that i cant drink alcool when i smoke it. so flawored with cream leather and coffee chocolate at the end that you taste a ballanced symfony of senses which make you so much pleasure. this is not a cigar for cochiba smokers, but for serious ones.

"Definition of Class"
Smooth, sweet, well made; simply one of the most elegant and refined cigars in the world. Lonsdales are not as popular as they used to be. This is too bad since the size is perfect for most times of day. Americans went in for a fatter cigar because most of the non-Cuban manufacturers could not make a satisfying corona or lonsdale. The problem remains. It is too bad that the H. Upmann lonsdale is no longer made.

"One of the best!"
The RG Lonsdale is simply one of the BEST Habanos available. Any serious cigar smoker would love this vitola. It is very rich and creamy with great honeyed, vanilla, coffee and woody flavors.

"You gotta try this"
Every smoker of Habanos has to try one of these cigars at least once. The size focuses the flavor perfectly and you end up with a marvelous symphony of flavors on the tongue. Leather and lace, baby.

"10 out of 10"
Every time I light a Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdale I pay a silent tribute to Sir Hugh Cecil Lowther, the Fifth Earl of Lonsdale. This exquisite Havana brand was made per his personal request and in turn, this particular size was named in his honor. This elegant cigar is a beautifully constructed box pressed vitola. It is a slow, cool burning cigar with a rich, textured smoke. Tempered flavors of earth and wood combine with a slight honey-like quality to make this a delectable cervante. The aroma from this cigar is like the finest French perfume on the nape of beautiful woman's neck to the cigar aficionado's nose. This was the first Lonsdale ever made, and is possibly still the very best in the world. Consider this a "must-have" cigar.

"Most Underrated Cigar"
This is a very fragrant cigar with complex flavors that keep changing. Could never identify with any particular one. Medium at the beginning builds to a full body smoke from the second half. Would not appeal to a novice cigar smokers, but ones with a palate for Cubans will love it. Probably the most underrated Cuban cigar. Drastically improves with aging. Ones aged for over 2 years can be top rated.
