"Perfect Mild Smoke"
Superior appearance and construction, very even burn, nice draw and smoke volume. Mild to medium flavor with some nice leathery under tones and earthy flavor.

"Change of Pace Mildie"
I prefer a medium to full bodied cigar, but this one is a nice change of pace; flavorful, yet mild, this one is pretty good (I have to agree with Dr. Gray that it is not too impressive on those first few puffs but it got better after that). Smooth smoking cigar!

"Final Grade: B-"
The appearance of this cigar is deceiving. When you look at the band it has a cheap appearance but the flavor is anything but. The only thing with Rocky Patel Connecticut's is that it starts sub par the first inch. After that you start to get hints of wood, earth, light spice, and even caramel. I also get subtle, very light hints of mint around the inch and a half mark. Halfway through the cigar you get strong nutty flavor with a delicious creaminess. The finish of the cigar is a bit spicy but it makes the finale of the cigar more satisfying than the cigar not having it. Overall, I really enjoy the RP Connecticut and keep several in my box. If your looking for a flavor Connecticut, give Rocky's a shot.

"Earthy"
Yes, it's mild. Some of the other reviews seem to have expected something else -- not sure why. Earthy, almost mushroomy flavor. Easy to light, perfect burn & draw, plenty of smoke.

I had been really looking forward to this cigar. It look beautiful, felt well-constructed, and smelled nice pre-burn. With Rocky's reputation and the recommendation of a fav. web retailer, I was sure I'd found what was to become my favorite cigar. I was wrong. I didn't think the RP Conn. was mild at all, nor did I think the flavor was anything but burnt. Perhaps I got a bad cigar, or something (I only got 1) but I didn't even finish it. I plan to try another in the future, but this one was pretty crummy. Sure, I'd say you should try one, but I wouldn't buy a box without smoking at least one!

"Mild but tasty"
I'm a newcomer to the cigar world, and I picked up a five-pack on C-Bid. I have to say that my first impression was mild disappointment. The first cigar started off a tiny bit harsh, and then became mild. Really, really mild, leading even a tyro like me to wish for some more flavor. However, I started to pick up some of the subtle flavors as the cigar progressed. I've since smoked two more of the five pack and have liked the cigar more and more. A very pleasant nuttiness lingers beneath the mild tobacco taste. I'd definitely be willing to pick up another five pack--great value.

"Very nice smoke"
I just finished my second of these churchills and find them to be quite good. Very good construction and a very nice burn, the draw was a little tight for me though. The flavor is very nice, it's not to light but it could be a little stronger. Has a nice light spice taste to it. I really like this smoke as the first of the day. And for the price on C-Bid you can't lose with this smoke.
