"Plain Average"
Some RP I can take, Some I can leave. This one I can leave. Just plain average top to bottom with decent RP construction. Finishes on the bitter side. Really not worth the effort or $.

"On the Rocky Road"
Rocky and I have had an up and down friendship over the years. Some of his gars are dynamite and others I can do with out. The Cuban Blend Toro was one of Rocky's better attempts. It's a nice looking cigar, and it had a near perfect burn and draw. Plenty of long gray-white ash. The flavor was more or less full, and it had more chocolate flavor than any natural, I've smoked. I didn't experience any bitterness that others experienced, but I had this in humidor at least 6 months. I got this one in a sampler, so I"ll need to order more.

"Another fine cigar from Patel"
This cigar looked great with a dark veiny wrapper. The dark oily wrapper smelled great upon light up and the draw and burn were great. The gray ash stayed held on for over 2 inches for me. Definately spicy/peppery flavors, with some dry/earthy and leather undertones. I enjoyed this cigar, as I enjoy most of Patel's cigars. As stated before in the reviews, construction is never an issue with his cigars, unless you have a humi issue, or you are hard in handling the cigars. I will smoke this one again!

"another RP hit"
seems like a big difference of opinions. I agree with Jeff... a wonderful cigar. I am not as capable of describing except to say it is good straight out of the box.

"OK, not great"
I'm a fan of Rocky's blends, so this is a disappointment. Others have mentioned the "bitter" taste and there is a definite bitter/sour/green taste. It does tend to mellow out over time, and after aging 4-6 months, some of these become really smooth, wonderful smokes. But usually, they just get older and still have that slight bitter taste mingled with the rich, Honduran tobaccos. I'll buy them again (on sale) but they'll never be a favorite. Not his best blend and definitely not "Cuban."

"Bold flavor, construction problems"
Flavor on lighting really caught my attention; almost a chocolate. Flavor dropped off, but remained strong in a good way. About halfway, the burn went sour and the taste wasn't holding my attention. Still, I thought it was a nice cigar and I'll smoke one again.

"Outstanding cigar"
Burns just about perfect, draws well, excellent construction. A definate "tang" builds as the flavor goes from slightly sweet to a earthy / charcoal flavor. Great flavor combination in my opinion. Produces lots of smoke with no need for touch-ups or relights. Given the oily sheen on the wrapper, I could see how this could easily not burn well if the humidity is too high. Nice smooth wrapper, and a silvery-gray ash holds well to the end of the cigar. A great full-flavored smoking experience. Highly recommend.

"its OK"
Supposedly contains ligero fillers but it can't be all that much because this is a rather unremarkable smoke. RP does a commendable job of marketing but I beginning to find out that his line-ups are a tad overrated. This one has a bit of an "off" taste that I can't quite describe, maybe a bit fruity perhaps...I don't know. Just wasn't impressed at all. Maybe with some time in the humi they'll improve.
As usual the construction is very good as are most of the RP line ups.

"decent"
This is probably one of Rocky's better cigars, has a real strong peppery and spicy Nicaraguan puro taste to it, it's very similar to Don Pepin cigars, but maybe a little less in the way of flavor and slightly milder. Starts to turn more mild and a little bitter about 1/2 way down, nothing really terrible but the flavor definitely fades on this cigar.
The only real problem with this cigar is the construction (or at least with my particular one). The wrapper starting coming apart on me and the burn tunneled. Wrapper had dark spots all over it, probably a sign of over humidification somewhere, this might have affected the burn.
Overall a decent cigar worth smoking if you like stronger cigars. I wouldn't say this is an amazing cigar however.

"weird smoke"
When I first got the smoke it was bitter. Then with about 5 months of age it smoothed out. Now with about 9 months of age it has gotten kind Barn yard like. I have never had a cigar that aged barn yard.

"Great smoke"
Dark maduro wrapper with a medium grey firm ash. Wonderful spicy full flavor with no bitter after taste. One of the best cigars I have ever smoked.
