"LANCERO 10 COUNT"
I STOLE A BOX OF THESE ON AUCTION LAST WEEK. I USUALLY LIKE SRONGER SMOKES AND BIGGER RINGS. BUT I HAVE A YEARNING TO TRY SOME LANCEROS LATELY. YEARS AGO WHEN I STARTED THERE WERE MANY OUT THERE. FOR SOME REASON LANCEROS FADED. BUT I WAS SURPRISED AT THE FINE CONSTRUCTION, IT IS ONE OF THE HARDEST CIGARS TO ROLL BY THE WAY. GREAT BURN, SMOOTH ALL THRU, NEVER HINTED AT GOING OUT, VERY CREAMY COFFEE DESSERT KIND OF SMOKE. ENJOY AS I HEAR THERE WAS A VERY LIMITED RUN ON THE LANCEROS.

"Mmm . . . breakfast"
The reviews below have it right: excellent construction, burn, draw, as you'd expect from an RP. But it is much milder than you'd expect from an RP. Good flavor, just mild. A first of the day stick. Get it on an auction site at a discount; wouldn't pay full retail.

"Not a favorite of mine from Patel"
This is an OK cigar... nothing really stands out for me though. The look and construction were typical of Patel's cigars... very good. The draw and burn were close to perfect. Flavors of oak, nuts and some cream. This one did get bitter towards the end, but wasn't really bad. An average cigar in my book.

"Definitely better in Morning"
Picked up 10 Signatures and 10 Fusions this past week. Tried the Sig Wed night and was very surprised by how much I didn't really care for the cigar. At first thought maybe need some resting time, but then read RedBeard's comment about being a good morning smoke. So this morning I had my coffee and a Sig. Oddly, it was much better in the am.
There's not the creamy thick smoke that I enjoy in most of the RP lines (both IT & RPs). As I'm generally biased towards anything, I was genuinely disappointed until I smoke it in the morning. May also be a good road trip smoke. Still not one of my favorite RPs but ok.

"A knock out for Rocky (no pun intended)"
I have smoked many Rocky's over the last six months seeing as it is one of my favorite brands. Mild and smooth with a clean leathery wrapper, like a fine italian couch. Great burn and a flawless draw. Highly reccomended for those of you who like a mild smoke.

"I don't care"
What anyone thinks, I only care about what I like and this is one fine morning or first smoke of the day. I really like it. I smoked a fiver first just to see is the first was a fluke or not. But after the fiver I still think there a very good smoke. Mild and quite flavorful this is a great smoke with coffee in the AM. Construction was excellent with a perfect burn on all of them. Very smooth with flavors of toasty nuts and wood, very nice.

"I like 'em, when its right"
Ths is a very good, albeit mild cigar. The first one I had I smoked after dinner and I would actually agree with a lot of these guys comments. I was disappointed to say the least. But then a took a 5pk with me on a long drive and smoked the lot over the course of the weekend. As your first or second cigar of the day, this cigar is awesome. A great woody flavor with a nice subtle sweetness makes this cigar excatly what I look for in a mild smoke.... simple smooth and relaxing. I called in and bought some at a little bit of a break. But what do I know?

"Signature of disappointment"
"Because of the limited amount of rare tobacco needed to make this blend, only 200 boxes are made at a time by Rocky Patel and they are only sold by Cigar.com.
The Rocky Patel Signature collection features his classic vintage logo on a cigar that starts with a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that encases a mix of Central American fillers that give this cigar an unparalleled balance. Medium bodied with a rich flavor, the Signature series is a smorgasbord of aromas including an unmistakable buttery and toasty flavor over notes of wood and nuts. The Rocky Patel Signature is available in only one size and each box is hand signed and numbered by Rocky himself. Don’t miss your chance to smoke the most limited production cigar Rocky has ever made!

In its initial tasting by Cigar.com, the Rocky Patel Signature received an impressive 93 points. A rating this high is rarely given by Cigar.com."

Good thing I also tried one before I dove into a box. Yeesh. Construction, looks and draw were the best thing about this cigar. I love Rocky's other brands, but this was a dog. This cigar was all hype as I got less flavor and taste than his milder lines.

Good thing this is a limited line cause the less they sell the better for the cigar community. Also, before Cigar.com talked Rocky into having this as an exclusive, Rocky was going to use this blend for his 10th Anniversary series. Maybe he used a little shuck and give on the boys in PA? A rating of 93???? Are you serious?

"No thanks"
CrazyFool may be crazy, but he ain't no fool. Not much flavor to these. Good construction and perfect burn and draw...but not much flavor. I am REALLY glad I tried a couple of 5 packs instead of just pulling the trigger on a box. Rocky needs to amp these up a notch or just discontinue them altogether. I would rather smoke an IT and spend half as much money for twice as much flavor.

"Im sorry... what?!?"
Did i miss something here? To lend one cigar YOUR signature i would expect a lot more. I would also think "this must be what Rock smokes on a daily basis". I want my cigar maker to have a experianced palate and you can only create a cigar to your own maturity.
Look at Litto Gomez. La Flor started out a mild cigar, fitting to his experiance. The brand grew in flavor (and body) with his palate.

Rocky knows flavor, try a 1992 or a Olde World Maduro. Putting his name on this 'might as well be a macanudo' cigar... it kinda tells me this is his palate... right here. makes you think anything fuller or more complex would be beyond him.

I dont know. Smoke a RP Connecticut and tell me theres a world of difference. Huh, even try a Vintage 1999 and tell me theres a big differance. You better like his hand signed signature, because thats the only reason (i see) to buy a box.
