"R&J Resurgence"
Once again age proves to be a very decisive factor in developing flavor. I smoked one of these at 3 months, and one at 5 months, with a noticeable improvement, but it was the one I smoked at 8 months that was worth it to my taste buds. The burn was terrific with an ash about an inch from the band. If you've got the time to wait, I recommend these.

"Uncommon"
After I purchased this cigar I noticed a light bloom under the cedar, so this cigar was aged perfectly. Some of the hightlights were: lit well and burned evenly, light gray ash, euphoric taste in first half, leathery and peppery in the second half. All around wonderful lonsdale, which aren't usually that tasty.

"A Very Good Smoke"
After having smoked a number of "premium" vcigars that did not live up to their reputation, I went back to an old favorite and was reminded that when you find something good-stick with it. The construction was perfect; it burned evenly and held a great gray ash; it was not overpowering but tasted like a good cigar should (no floral tastes just a real honest woodsy taste. It lasted long enough to enjoy. I smoked it to the band to see what would happen and it did get a little bitter at the very end. Otherwise, no complaints. Time to buy a box. I wish they were just a little less expensive.

"Not Bad"
I'm always impressed by a cigar that can make Indonesian wrapper palatable. This a decent everyday mild-to-medium bodied cigar that has a great aroma and good construction. It's close to cameroon in flavor and aroma, but not quite as floral, nor as spicy. It gets a little testy at the two-thirds point and requires slow smoking from that point or it gets bitter. Up to that point it was a pretty carefree cigar. I don't see a box in my future, but I might pick up a single at the B&M now and then.

"Outstanding Cigar!"
Got this from a great BOTL and it came highly recommended. I let it sit in the humidor for about a year, and when I removed the cedar sheath I saw a wrapper that was beginning to sparkle. This shape and size is beginning to grow on me. The cigar didn't light up right away, and I was afraid I'd received a dud. It soon got going and gave me a good amount of smoke. The flavor is slightly woodsy and sweet, and I got a bit of a nutty flavor out of it as well. As it got past the half-way point, I began to get a bit of leather, but the thing that really defined this smoke was the continuous sweetness that persisted. It took two slight touch-ups that keep the construction rating from receiving a perfect 10. I smoked this thing til my fingers burned, and wish I had more resting! I would say this is a medium bodied smoke, and could become one of my favorites. Time to buy some more!

"Very nice smoke"
Good looking cigar. Nice, even burn. Great draw. Lots of rich, dense smoke. Dusky gray ash. Mild, approaching medium body. Got pretty hot and a little harsh about an inch from the band. Overall very pleasant.

"My Brand"
this was my first cigar, so after a while i decided to go back and review it after my palette has been attuned, it was woody, with that easily found touch of cedar, sweet on my lips. a thick white smoke, a good draw. kind of under packed, and not as heavy as full flavored as my usual smokes. this is my go to cigar, also the average i'll rate my other cigar reviews off of.

"Gag!"
I have smoked R & J cubans many years ago and remember enjoying them. This thing was terrible. Hot, harsh old dirty socks aroma. Tastes like a drug store King Edward. I payed 7 bucks for this stinker.

"Dog rocket"
Hot, Harsh. It was hard to tell if this cigar was full bodied or medium due to the harshness.
