"Romeo y Julieta Rothschil"
Started out promising, medium to full bodied with a moderately spicy finish. I was a little disapointed in the aftertaste, the cigar was a little one deminsional. Some hint of leather and cocoa but minimal. The construction and burn were good with a light grey ash. A fair value for the money, but fell short, in my opinion of the Punch Rothdchild which can be purchased for approximately half the price of the Romeo y Julieta.

"Good smoke....."
I have had a few of these now and they have all been consistently good. The last one I had while driving and it got off to a questionable burn but eventually corrected itself without incident. The aroma from these is outstanding. Good flavor overall. I probably am not ready to buy a box of these yet but will buy more singles for sure. Real good smoke.

"Wha?"
Good mild to medium smoke.
Hints of spice and cedar.
Very enjoyable and way more complex than the regular R&J series

"Surprise!"
I'm not a real fan of R&J cigars. In fact, they've been a bit disappointing in the past. However, this one was a very pleasant surprise. It started out with a very clean taste and stayed that way down to the nub. Started with a mellow mocha flavor, and that alternated with anise and a touch of sweetness. Burn started out razor sharp, then needed touch up, and at about the halfway point it developed a split that was annoying but not disastrous. All in all a very good deal for the money.

"Good"
I liked the burn, draw and the taste was good without being terribly exciting. Nice and spicy for a while though.

"straightforward flavor"
Very pleasant straightforward tobacco taste, but little complexity as others have said. Solid burn and draw, no complaints with construction. A nice cigar for someone who enjoys that simple tobacco flavor.

"solid everyday smoke"
this cigar was one of my favorites when i first started smoking cigars, came back to it recently as i received one for free, not the same experience. construction and appearance are always solid and the flavor is a pretty good mild to medium, it has a very unique flavor only ryj originals have which isn't a bad thing but not the most complex smoke solild overall though

"A good all around smoke...."
I swear this is mellow enough for a beginner but still has enough taste to intrest the seasoned veteran. I may start buying these online. In the SF bay Area you can pay $7:50 - $8. Ouch. At $5 this is a great value.......

"Good short standby"
These are good when time is short. You really can't go wrong. Good flavor, aroma and construction every time. Never a bad one in the bunch.

"Not that exciting"
This was a very good mild smoke, but it just wasn't anything to get excited about. Good construction and draw but the flavor never kicked in, even for a mild cigar.

"R&J still the best mild"
Some brands just dont put out a loser! Smooth well rounded ,but with enough bite to keep it interesting. Dash of pepper, hint of leather or coffee(i'm just not that good to tell exactly). Not as good as the vintageIII ,but darn close.

"okay at best"
A very loose roll, finished in less than 30 minutes. Burned a little hot, probably because it was loose, and not that good to be honest. Not my kind of smoke!

"Worth every cent!"
This cigar is under priced! This taste was very smooth, the burn very slow and even, and hardly any after taste.
